Clean, modern, friendly hotel with great staff and great services”
We were very happy with our stay here, everything about the hotel was great - just what you need after or before a flight. Check-in was easy and our daughter was given an activity book to take away, which is a nice thought. The room was big enough although not spacious, but modern, and very clean. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice and an egg station and a waffle station. On the first day we sat near the waffle station and it got quite busy, so avoid that area, although the chef at the egg station was very welcoming and friendly. There are also food vending machines. There is good parking, but I think there is a charge for overnight parking. If you are dropping off or picking up, you still have to take a ticket at the barrier but the first 30 minutes are free. The hotel is walking distance to Hatton Cross tube station, and getting to the center of London takes about 30 minutes. There are several shuttles from the hotel to the airport, starting early and finishing late.
Fantastic location if you want to rest after a hustle trip to the city. The tube station if definitely useful if you have to travel to the city. You can get yourself here with the hotel hoppa bus which will cost you approx 5 pound one way which is reasonable if you arrived with your big luggage. Taking your huge luggage via tube from Heathrow to Hatton Cross Station is not advisable as the station does not provide any lifts.
Accommodating staff and a pleasant place to stay!”
The Garden Inn Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. It was very clean, but two of the elevators were not working a couple of the days we were there. If you were coming in from a flight or going out, it was a great location. If you didn't want to be in the busy city of London, but wanted access to it, then Garden Inn was perfect. It was only a few minutes walk to the Hatton Cross bus and tube terminal which would take you right to the airport. However, it took a good 20 to 30 minutes to get to Westminster by tube. The Garden Inn was comfortable and pleasant! We were satisfied.
Well priced hotel near to Hatton Cross tube station”
Pros - Clean room, friendly staff. 5 minutes walk from Hatton Garden tube station, this can also be used to get to the airport. Cons - Really only good for overnights before/after flights, although the tube gets you to central London in c50 minutes.
We have used this hotel on many occasions either before or after flights in or out of Heathrow. ”
Prices vary but usually represent good value. Hotel is on Hoppa bus network and a ten minute walk from Hatton Cross tube station. High standards of cleanliness exist throughout and staff are customer focussed. Will return for sure.
Good stay for an overnight transit stay”
We stayed here for a night as we had an early flight to catch the next morning. It's very close to the airport and the hotel had bus service directly to all terminals (bus is appox. £5 pp). The room very clean and decent size.
Easily accessible from terminal 4. Very clean room with nice comfortable beds. Staff helpful and request for help quickly met with no fuss. A perfect hotel in an ideal location. Would consider staying again.
I stayed here for an overnight stop between flights. The Reception staff were so friendly and told me everything that I needed to know. When i first got there the rooms were being serviced so the usual trolleys were around but soon the work was finished so they disappeared. I would definitely stay here again. I had dinner and usually feel awkward eating alone but this time was fine. The gammon was delicious!!! I slept really well and the channels on the TV were mUCH better than US TV channels at the Holiday Inn Miami!!!!
Good hotel evening meal a bit expensive and car parking but good location to fly out
Quiet, clean & comfortable ”
The hotel is clean well situated a few minutes walk form the underground station. Only warning I would give would be if you do not fancy the walk to the station with your cases order your own cab. I ask the hotel to get me a taxi and an AMG Mercedes turned up. Was not cheap!!!
Conveniently situated close to both terminals 4 and 5 Hilton Garden Inn is very clean with every modern convenience for the traveller. The staff were very polite and helpful and I would definitely stay again when in Heathrow.
Friendly, cosy and very close to healthrow t2”
The hotel is just at the boundary of healthrow T2. There is airport shuttle, hoppa bus, at a reasonable price. I took up the standard room consist of 2 double bed, good enough for my family of 4. Clean room, friendly staff and not to forget the good English breakfast.
Ideal transit hotel”
A good value hotel right next to Heathrow but with an underground station a few minutes walk away. This could be used as a (significant cheaper) base for a few nights, to visit London, as it's only about 40 minutes on the underground (use a peak or off peak 24 hr ticket) or just a transit hotel. Parking is £9 day. Breakfast was pretty good but can get busy at certain times. Staff were good and quick, and rooms clean, tidy, modern and reasonable size. Would stay again.
Sound Proof Hotel”
Excellent hotel for one night while transiting in or out of London. Rooms comfortable with adequate space and good wifi. Slow service at bar in lobby area. Otherwise, an excellent option next to Hatton Cross station for transit into or out of central London. Room fully sound proof, no noise from planes.
Great location, good breakfast, comfortable rooms”
For those who wants to tour around London before an early flight the next morning (like me), I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean, location is great (3 mins walk to Hatton Cross Underground), nice variety for breakfast, free wifi, 24-hr mini-store at the lobby...etc. etc. I had a good rest.
okey its not really next to the airport you have to take the underground one stop then a 3-5min walk to the hotel if the wealther nice you dont mind walking but if it rains (London) and mostly it does so be perpare
I didn't expect too much of an airport hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was just what I needed after a long flight. It would be nice if hotels ran shuttle buses from the airport, like in many other countries. But it is easy enough to get there in the Tube - just one stop. I would advise an Oyster Card for all your Tube trips though. The room was comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of choice. I would definitely make this hotel the first stop after any other long flight back to London.
Overall stay was good, I'm very grateful happy because they allowed us to check in early as we with children got tired after 13 hours flight, so I have nothing to complaint as they help us with that..I also recommend this hotel as it was around 5 minutes walking distance..thanks
Frequent traveller to London - always stay at this hotel, great proximity to Tube, Airport, Free bus to nearby restaurants. Good breakfast ready for long day out. Clean and comfortable - I dont hear any noise form planes which is a bonus.
if you were transiting then there is nothing to complain here. But if you needed to get into London for a walkabout, then you may need to consider the Heathrow Express which is quite costly but fast and frequent. This hotel was suffering from renovations when i was there so, it was not pleasant at all. Hope it is better now.
