Fabulous Hotel and service with a smile”

Spectacular Foyer, delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

we were made very welcome when we arrived at hilton hanoi opera hotel. the room was very spacious and nicely furnished. breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. ms ngan at the business centre was extremely helpful in recovering items of clothing we had left behind at the da lat plaza hotel, and even though these did not arrive before we checked out, she followed up by ringing the da lat plaza and making sure they sent the package. she then arranged the forwarding of the package to us in new zealand. we would certainly have no hesitation in chosing the hilton hanoi opera hotel if and when we are next in hanoi.

Great hotel in the city”

Hilton Hanoi Opera is a great place to stay in Hanoi. It's very close to Hoan Kiem Lake, where all the restaurants and bars are. The hotel room was clean, the staff were exceptionally polite and it was a lovely stay overall. Definitely recommended.

Hilton is always a guarantee of quality”

Good location, comfortable and service-minded staff

Prices are higher than average, but, after all, however it's Hilton. Which is exlusive-class hotel. Hilton Hanoi Opera is going to be my choice for the next business trip to. strangest thing was to see how badly Airport Taxi knew the location of the Hilton. Hilton is centrally located and the renowned opera on the side. Fortunately, I have been living for several years in Vietnam, and I am able to discuss the local language passably well, so taxien detour attempt was unsuccessful.

the hilton hanoi opera hotel was extremely luxurious and at the same time very comfortable and not pretentious. the staff were so friendly and welcoming and great at giving advice on restaurants and local sights. the pool was in a great location with views of the opera house next door. shopping and restaurants were right there near the hotel. the room was very generous with a lovely bathroom. we loved staying here and felt really at ease amidst the grandeur of the hotel. i would recommend heartily!

Very large comfortable rooms

We were given a really warm welcome upon arrival at the Hilton Hanoi Opera hotel. It has a great lobby with an excellent bar. The rooms are very large and extremely comfortable without being too fussy. There is a good sized pool and jacuzzi. The staff at Reception were extremely helpful and gave us some good recommendations for local restaurants. The location of the hotel is right in the centre of the city close to the best shops and entertainment.

The location is great and the staff is efficent

Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel is located next to the Opera House. There are great restaurants in walking distance as well as wonderful shopping close by. We ate two meals at the hotel. They were good and just what we expected. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. A local English paper was available in the morning. The fresh rose was a nice touch.

Beautiful Hotel!”

Lovely location & nice rooms

hilton hanoi is great for it's top service. we were staying in the old quarter and was unpleased with our hotel so decided to spoil ourself and switch to one of the best hotels in hanoi. managed to book a room close to midnight via agoda and wrote to the hotel to say pls can we have an eraly check in the next day if available. when we turned up at 9am the next morning, we were greeted by diep, who looks after the front desk. she was just great! she got my email and was working feverishly to get us into a room even though we saw that the hotel wa very full with a convention going on. she managed to get us a room and checked us in quickly - how lovely that was after the stay at our previous hotel! loved the hilton at hanoi!

Enjoyed the Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel. The rooms were comfortable with a large desk and comfortable chairs. They had the nice extras like a large size soap in the bath. Great for lattering up after a walk in the city. Food was delicious. We had a hamburger and chicken wings. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definately want to stay there again.

Location, high standard,quality hotel.

We are a mature couple of cashed up bogans from Western Australia who have been holidaying in Vietnam. We stayed at the Hanoi Hilton Opera for 3 nights and the hotel really lived up to its name in terms of quality and service it is second to none. The location of the hotel is in the French Quarter which has a certain je ne sais quoi! Gazza and Hells

Best Location in Hanoi”

The room was clean with a nice view of the opera house. You had to pay for wifi unless you were a member of the Hilton Club. 400k VND per day for fast wifi and 300k VND per day for slow wifi. The Hilton Bakery was excellent and the staff were super friendly. Just around the corner from Starbucks, the Jazz Club, and a couple of nice parks. We got the bargain price for the room which did not include the breakfast. But the coffee in the lounge was excellent. Excellent location. Taxi is 360k VND for the airport. ($15 USD)

It's a comfortable stay”

Clean, attentive staff, good location

It's not a fancy hotel, but i would consider it a very comfortable stay in Hilton. The room is clean (I have a high requirement for hygiene). It seems that the staff came to do the housekeeping twice a day (not sure). Always do the refill. It's not right next to the Lake but i think it just takes 10 minutes to talk there and along the way you can shop a bit. Next to the hotel is the Opera House (If i didnt get it wrong). I dont think it's really cheap to stay here as the breakfast is not included (but there are some nice restaurants nearby). But If i need to pick again between the boutique hotels that cost around the same price as Hilton, I will choose Hilton again. If i can spend even more, may go for the Sofitel Metropole.

Quiet hotel, lovely staff, bit dated. ”

We stayed here in the lead up to Tet and it was a very quiet hotel. Spacious rooms and extremely comfortable bed. A bit dated but tastefully decorated. It's in a quieter location if you want to get out of the busy ness of the Old Quarter yet a reasonable walking distance around the lake to any action. If you say the Hilton is located at the bottom of Hoan Kiem Lake the busy parts are at the area to the top and then towards the left. Primary suggestions - The in room facilities could be easily improved by moving the tea/coffee facilities to another location (current place is very cramped) and making the power points more accessible. The pool area is dated but the pool is a good size. It was too cold to swim when we were there unfortunately.

Beautiful hotel in a great location.”

This is right in the French Quarter and provides a quiet haven after the madness in Hanoi. Everything is as you would expect at a Hilton with beautifully comfortable air conditioned rooms and a grand entrance. It is a great location to explore the French and Old quarters. You will find plenty of cheaper hotels in Hanoi but it depends what you are looking for. For us we felt very safe here.

One night in Hanoi”

Breakfast was great.

although we only had one night in the hilton hanoi opera hotel for a special occasion, it did not live up to the normal "hilton" expectations. we were a little disappointed -- small things, but important, e.g. no bell boy, we had to ask someone to take care (carry) of our luggage. we stayed at other hotels (4/5 star) on this particular trip and they were all somewhat better than the hilton. i will always choose the hilton because of its world-wide reputation, but this time hanoi opera was a bit disappointing.
