Everything average. Most the wine we tried to order was out. Took 1.5 hours to get our room service. Came empty handed twice, without ever calling. Proceeded to get bill wrong, never offered remedy for poor room service. Room felt extremely generic, no complimentary waters , no cleaning, everything in our room was very beat up (floors, tables extremely scuffed and scraped). Birds standing on gutters pooping on chairs was pretty funny though as a little balcony room bonus. Not horrible, but quite forgettable on a birthday trip.
This is the most beautiful and incredibleHiltonwehavestayed.Wehbeen to many, but this property has become our favorite. It is luxurious, well kept, relaxing, the staff is kind & friendly and so accommodating. The location is perfect and the view is incredible. There is a pier and snorkeling on property. We didn't have a beach but didn't miss it with the pool and beaches nearby. Cross an on-site walking bridge to a mall and grocery store. Takes 5 minutes. The restaurants all have fantastic views of the ocean and sunsets and the food was fresh and delicious and we loved the live music serenading us in the evening. Check in/out easy. We arranged transportation through them from airport. Our driverTeavae was ready when we arrived. He was waited for us to exchange $ at ATM and get a tea at Barista before we left. So kind and talked about the island. The traffic and roads there would have been too much for us to drive so we are very happy we had his services. So many little impeccable touches that surprised us and delighted us and made our stay even more wonderful. On our last night during dinner our server placed the beautiful crown of flowers she was wearing on my head as a gift. It was beautiful! We will be back❤️

Just recently opened therefore everything is nice and clean. Very supportive staff and very friendly at all time. Close to the airport. So a good opportunity to relax in bétwéen travels. As we all know South Pacific is expensive. Breakfast buffet is U$48 and all other meals and drinks accordingly. A shopping center is within a five minutes walk. Keep in mind, this is not a beach hotel. So there are no water activities. Had a very late departure. Was able to use the pool/facilities the whole day. They offer a departure lounge where you can take a shower before your flight. That was wonderful service. All together I enjoyed my five day stay just to relax.

Everything is nice at this hotel, clean, in a good location with great amenities. Sadly our experience with front house staff has not been very nice. We had to approach management /staff regarding money taken from our bank account after being told a transaction of $150 US currency per day was declined (we were charged $450 NZ) when they tried to debit it from my card. We were shocked that we were told we had to pay this ontop of $1000 for two nights paid in full at the time of booking. It was apparently for incidentals which we were not told about when booking. I asked staff why this money had been taken from my bank account. They were going to investigate it. I've never experienced this before at such a high rate of $150 per day in US $ Coming back from the supermarket I was stopped as a manager wanted to discuss this so we had a discussion. It quickly turned bad with me telling him those charges were not part of our booking or understanding and we were told our card declined it anyway as they could not debit a debit credit card. Every time we had anything at the hotel we had to pay immediately which became a bit embarrassing as well. Things escalated, the 'manager' decided he was going to buy into a argument, not take responsibility for their mistake and a full blown argument exploded in reception. I told him exactly how I felt about this and his behaviour and went back to my room telling him I wanted my money refunded immediately. The behaviour of this duty manager was immature, combative and shit basically. He then came to my room to apologise and said he was looking into this I just closed my door on him. So check your bank details and be wary of hidden costs. A normal incidental charge is usually around $200 not $150 per day and the attitude of this manager was crap!! Would I stay again? Yes! The other staff members have been great.

“Nice place to stay in Tahiti ”
The Hilton is quite new and very beautiful. Its right between the airport and Papeete so location is good, the best part is the bridge that links to the shopping centre across the road, it's small but there are some lovely shops and the supermarket is excellent. Quality of the food in the supermarket was so good we honestly got almost all of our meals there to avoid overpriced average hotel food. We went one night into Papeete for dinner at the food trucks and can highly recommend that too. We booked a king ocean view but our room had huge palm trees in front so we got a palm tree view with a bit of ocean which was ok but a bit disappointing. Room was very nice, modern, clean, great facilities, bathroom was excellent. The pool is gorgeous! We had a fun afternoon meeting people from all over the world at the swim up bar, I wish there was a bit more shade over the pool but we managed to move with the sun to find a few small spots to avoid sunburn. We only had one meal, we got bolognese to the away to our room, it was very average. It's a lovely hotel, good for a stopover but I do wish I had booked extra nights on either Moorea or Bora Bora instead.
