We chose this hotel for unique and wonderful location on Lake Las Vegas to enjoy calm and relaxing day. It is 25 minute to the Strip, allowing us to enjoy the crazy nights and sleep well.

Pure Serenity
peaceful, great restaurants, fantastic staff
Loved the look of the hotel on photos. It was great to get away from Las Vegas' busy strip and get some peace and quiet. It felt like we were in Tuscany. The little village out there is just beautiful. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

good bad and ugly
Two members of staff that helped us in a medical emergency. regret no others.
Pool was freezing very poor for an expensive hotel. It is terribly designed by the end of the week I could know where I was going! Totally ruined by the closure of lake mead as that was the only reason we stayed at this hotel, we planned to go fishing sailing and boating as we come from England we were very disappointed!!Every where we went in LV we had an issue at gabo mon ami they brought our mains before we had finished our starters and tried to put it on table!! At Serendipities they forgot to put order in we waited over an hour for two salads. go to boulder city its basic and good value.

Very comfortable stay
Friendly service, comfortable beds, great food
We stayed two nights at the Ravelle. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was polite, helpful, and friendly. We had room service for breakfast and was amazed at the quality and quantity (then don't skimp!). We had the salmon with bagels and Couquiles (eggs with tortillas). Both were excellent.

Great Hotel away from the noise of Las Vegas
Large comfortable room, high spec hotel - was Ritz-Carlton
everything worked properly - wifi was strong and fast, and heating/air conditioning system was very quiet indeed. room is a very good size and comfortable, plus bathroom has separate shower and toilet. location is about 20 minutes drive from the strip, and even during peak hours going to/from ces i did not hit any traffic jams. there is an additional $22 per day "facility charge" which includes wifi, yet on the agoda homepage it says "complimentary lan internet" - so be careful of this (all the las vegas hotels add this - but feels like a catch). i mentioned this to the hotel manager during check out and was credited in full for the facilities charges. i will stay at ravella again for sure.

Beautiful Venue and Gorgeous Scenery
The Ravella is formerly a Ritz Carlton property. BEAUTIFUL inside and out!
new year's eve 2013! las vegas. when calling to make a res "in person" was directed to a website with an inducement of a resort credit. automatically redirected to a second website to book - no resort credit in the end. woefully understaffed for new year's eve. long queue at check in, only two agents for check in, one bartender and two cocktail waitresses. for new year's eve. really? children everywhere of every age. zero activities for them. children rolling around on the dance floor. not a family event. it should have been an adult evening. dinner in medici was delicious, but couples were put at tables of ten regardless how many in your party. champagne included, but not available unless you picked it up at the hostess station upon arrival for seating. (who knew?) only two seatings, 7 or 9pm. arrival for dinner could have had staggered start times i.e. 6:45, 7:00, 7:15, etc. to avoid the long line. dancing confined to the lobby bar area, ballroom remained locked for the evening. breakfast the next morning in the medici again was delicious, but no one available to greet and seat us. wait staff never refilled coffee or juice, even upon request. since it's buffet, why not have self-serve drinks? not offered mimosa or bloody mary, etc , even at an upcharge. it appeared management was operating "on the cheap" for the entire holiday. the staff appeared disinterested in the guests. would loved to have been greeted with a few smiles and maybe some helpful information. a pity as the potential for greatness is possible from a dolce property. you missed the mark to win our repeat business.
