A nice break from the strip.”

Beautiful spacious room

Really enjoyed Lake Las Vegas and the Revella. Beautiful room but the delivery of the luggage (our only complaint) was very slow. We dined at Bernard's Steak House in the villages just a two minute walk to all the shops and it was fabulous! We had the pepper tenderloin. Yummm. They also had live entertainment. It was located near the golf course where we had reservations to play Saturday morning. We would recommend to others.

Great Hotel away from the noise of Las Vegas”

Large comfortable room, high spec hotel - was Ritz-Carlton

everything worked properly - wifi was strong and fast, and heating/air conditioning system was very quiet indeed. room is a very good size and comfortable, plus bathroom has separate shower and toilet. location is about 20 minutes drive from the strip, and even during peak hours going to/from ces i did not hit any traffic jams. there is an additional $22 per day "facility charge" which includes wifi, yet on the agoda homepage it says "complimentary lan internet" - so be careful of this (all the las vegas hotels add this - but feels like a catch). i mentioned this to the hotel manager during check out and was credited in full for the facilities charges. i will stay at ravella again for sure.

peaceful, great restaurants, fantastic staff

Loved the look of the hotel on photos. It was great to get away from Las Vegas' busy strip and get some peace and quiet. It felt like we were in Tuscany. The little village out there is just beautiful. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Venue and Gorgeous Scenery”

The Ravella is formerly a Ritz Carlton property. BEAUTIFUL inside and out!

new year's eve 2013! las vegas. when calling to make a res "in person" was directed to a website with an inducement of a resort credit. automatically redirected to a second website to book - no resort credit in the end. woefully understaffed for new year's eve. long queue at check in, only two agents for check in, one bartender and two cocktail waitresses. for new year's eve. really? children everywhere of every age. zero activities for them. children rolling around on the dance floor. not a family event. it should have been an adult evening. dinner in medici was delicious, but couples were put at tables of ten regardless how many in your party. champagne included, but not available unless you picked it up at the hostess station upon arrival for seating. (who knew?) only two seatings, 7 or 9pm. arrival for dinner could have had staggered start times i.e. 6:45, 7:00, 7:15, etc. to avoid the long line. dancing confined to the lobby bar area, ballroom remained locked for the evening. breakfast the next morning in the medici again was delicious, but no one available to greet and seat us. wait staff never refilled coffee or juice, even upon request. since it's buffet, why not have self-serve drinks? not offered mimosa or bloody mary, etc , even at an upcharge. it appeared management was operating "on the cheap" for the entire holiday. the staff appeared disinterested in the guests. would loved to have been greeted with a few smiles and maybe some helpful information. a pity as the potential for greatness is possible from a dolce property. you missed the mark to win our repeat business.

The hotel is right on the lake which is very convenient to participate in water sports or take a stroll in the village where there are many restaurants and live music on the weekends in the summer. The pool is quiet. It's a great place to get away from busyness of the strip.

good bad and ugly”

Two members of staff that helped us in a medical emergency. regret no others.

Pool was freezing very poor for an expensive hotel. It is terribly designed by the end of the week I could know where I was going! Totally ruined by the closure of lake mead as that was the only reason we stayed at this hotel, we planned to go fishing sailing and boating as we come from England we were very disappointed!!Every where we went in LV we had an issue at gabo mon ami they brought our mains before we had finished our starters and tried to put it on table!! At Serendipities they forgot to put order in we waited over an hour for two salads. go to boulder city its basic and good value.

Lovely hotel with unexpected resort and fees”

Beautiful setting and nice rooms.

when we booked the hotel we were quoted a price in dollars and were surprised to see that it was charged right away to our credit card along with a "foreign transaction fee" and when checking out we were charged a "resort fee". never has this happened to us in a us hotel this place is run by a foreign company in europe and there are a lot hidden fees. i wish these folks were honest upfront with the hotel fees instead of surprising us several times. not pleasant at all!! stay was fine but restaurants were under staffed due to bad economy. very few choices on the menu

Friendly service, comfortable beds, great food

We stayed two nights at the Ravelle. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was polite, helpful, and friendly. We had room service for breakfast and was amazed at the quality and quantity (then don't skimp!). We had the salmon with bagels and Couquiles (eggs with tortillas). Both were excellent.

There is a sign on the front desk which states if you have a problem they will make it right. ”

They will not make it right. They will do the absolute minimum to keep an extremely unimpressed customer from leaving. The only reason I didn't? It was 10pm on new years eve and they are located in the absolute middle of nowhere. I'll never stay at a Hilton again.

Loved the bathroom! I wish we had one like that at home!

the ravella was a very nice hotel - very big though - a lot of hallways to get "lost" in. the pool area was nice. we found the restaurants a bit pricey so we chose to eat elsewhere. but there were lots of choices. we were a bit disappointed that most of the businesses in the village were not open. it would have been a great place to be entertained, but very few places were open. we found our stay relaxing though.

Extremely clean. Never saw rooms so clean. They wipe the inside of the drawers. Amazing.

The setting and landscaping absolutely beautiful. Very spacious common areas and very quiet and again - very clean. The only suggestion I would make is to better position directions to the elevators so that they are immediately visible to someone who is walking. Will visit again.

Escape from the "other" Vegas”

This large hotel seems more suited to hosting conferences & events than couples travelling. Nonetheless we enjoyed the facilities especially the large heated outdoor pool & room service for our evening meal (no eateries close by & a closed restaurant). You will need a map however to find your room among the plethora of wide corridors and large meeting rooms.
