Another great Hilton in a great city!”

Excellent location, highrise towers hence easy to spot and friendly staff members.
Emmm.....perhaps none.

I wish I could have spend more nights in this Hilton in great Manchester city. With the reasonable price tag, I believe you really get back what you've invested. To top it all, for some strange reason we even got a room upgrade that allow us to use Club floor at the toppest floor. in this Club room, guests can enjoy free flow of drinks and snack food like muffin, cookies, fruits etc. We can even use the internet as complimentary from the hotel. The next morning we even had our breakfast here with breath-taking Machester skyline as our backdrop. Great experience all together.

Fab hotel, great service and excellent location.”

Cloud 23 Bar offers fabulous views of the city at night!

We only stayed at the hotel for one night to celebrate my wifes birthday. We were greeted by very friendly and efficient staff at the front desk and the check in was very quick. The hotel room was what you would expect in a Hilton hotel but the spectacular view across Manchester made the room one of the better ones that we have stayed in. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Manchester.

Great hotel”

Location, staff

Great hotel, perfect for anyone wanting good nightlife in Manchester. The staff were excellent and the hotel is of a very good standard for a Hilton. We were booked in for breakfast and you cant complain for choice and room which was ample. Would recommend the hotel for almost everything in Manchester as it ticks all the boxes.

Great hotel, good location”

Spacious room, nice pool

The Hilton Deansgate is a very good hotel offering quite a few amenities to guests. It is located at the fringes of the inner city in walking distance to the modern business area Spinningfields, the town hall and the Royal Exchange Theatre. The building offers a spectacular view of the city. It should be mentioned thought that for a hotel of this class there were a few things missing, most notably slippers and bathrobes. If you want to use the nice and well temperatured indoor pool you will certainly find a way to improvise.

Great service and location”

Loved the pool and spa to relax in, and breakfast was great!

Have been before and stayed one night, this time did two nights as went with friend just to 'shop and eat' for a birthday celebration. Room was smaller than the last one we had, but still nice, and at the price we got it, who would complain! If going to Manchester again, would most definately choose the Hilton again (did look at loads!) Staff really friendly and very helpful, and breakfast superd with the great service.

Am utterly rested”

Very comfy bed, friendly staff, fabulous view

We were in a king executive room on the 20th floor, with a fantastic view over Manchester. Our bed was wonderfully comfortable - it's the first time we've come back home and not been glad to have our own bed again. The room had a television, alarm clock, complimentary water, nice comfy chair, a fold down vanity mirror with a hair-dryer, iron and board, safe. The bathroom was spacious with a full set of crabtree & evelyn bath products, towels, bathrobes and slippers. The views from the executive lounge are great, though the lounge only stays open until 8. This said, the lady who checked us in gave us cocktail vouchers for Cloud 23, and hotel guests do get preference in the queue there. The breakfast in the lounge was pretty good - it says continental, but this covers egg, (slightly flabby) bacon, cereals, pastries, salmon, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, juices. I'd definately stay here again for special occasions.

Happy in the Hilton”

Position of hotel Facilities
Renovations Jacuzzi out of order

We spent a weekend in the Hilton Deansgate and chose it as we wanted a high class hotel that had sports facilities and was central. We were very happy with the hotel as it was easy to get to all the main areas of Manchester and had a swimming pool and gym available. On a negative note the advertised jacuzzi was out of order and there were no private facilities to change into swimwear. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a good choice of tv channels. The lobby can get extremely busy due to an influx of people wanting to eat at their famous restaurant but all in all we were very happy with the hotel and would stay again.

A great hotel in the centre of Manchester. High standard of accommodation throughout, rooms above average in size and well appointed. Customer service levels very high and good range of facilities offered within the hotel, including spa and health facilities and a fantastic Cloud Bar with views over the whole of the city.

50th burthday treat”

Started with afternoon tea in cloud 23 stunning views across Manchester then we checked into our room again with stunning views and was given a choice at reception on which floor we would prefer. Room was spacious bed was comfortable but not very big when your paying this much a super king size would of made it for us. Breakfast was lovely with lots to chose from hot or cold worth paying for as it sets you up for the day. Would I stay here again yes for a special occasion at the price I paid but would not pay any more than that for a room.

had a great stay in the hilton, we had never stayed there before and we were pleasantly suprised. the view from the room was great and it was a huge room, very clean with a comfy bed.the pool and jacuzzi were lovely and again had lovely views of the city through the floor to ceiling windows. we decided to try the bar on the 23rd floor too,the views were lovely and although the drinks are expensive (london prices) they tasted amazing and it was all table service so you dont have to wait at the bar. had a great night in this hotel and all the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful

luxury stay at the hilton”

the views from the room and also from cloud 23 and executive lounge. the bed was comfy and staff were friendly

We had an amazing one night stay here we were on the 17th floor and had a fantastic view of the city the room was clean and cosy. We checked in early and made our way into the city when back we went to the spa which was lovely not amazing or the best one I've been to but the views were great. We then headed to the executive lounge for drinks and canapés which were very disappointing everything had a fishy taste so we didn't have much. Luckily we did not pay extra for this and it was included in our stay. We shortly left and went out to Dimitri's a Greek restaurant across the road from the hotel. Highly recommend food was fab staff lovely too. After we went back to the hotel and decided to go to cloud 23 for a cocktail we had to wait 10 mins which wasn't a problem but by time we got up there there was hardly anyone there, I suppose they don't want it too crowded so people could see the amazing views of the city. We had a cocktail each really expensive for what they were but was really nice and your paying for the view. Headed back to our room and had a really nice comfy sleep. Got up in the night to find a letter under the door saying we had a guest charge not a nice surprise you want to see in the morning! So got dressed and went to speak to staff about it. Turned out it was just a mix up and that it would be wiped thank goodness! Staff were really friendly and have really good communication. Continental breakfast was included so we went and tried it. It was the worst breakfast we have ever had although scrambled eggs and sausages were tolerable. It was included with our stay so we didn't pay extra but if you have to pay for breakfast here make sure its not the continental one not worth it. Checked out easily and went to the mosi museum a short walk away as we still had an hour of parking left. We parked in the car park across the road from the Hilton as we could not find the hotel parking at all. Turned out cheaper anyway £12 for 24hrs. Overall our stay was amazing

Great location. Lovely friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. ”

Had a great time celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. This hotel is in a great location close to the city centre with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Close to Oxford Street Station. Great if you want to shop. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay extra special. Great restaurant with fresh food and an excellent choice for breakfast. We visited Cloud 23 bar. I personally thought it was a little bit over priced, but it was a lovely setting. The hotel rooms I felt were a little bit tired with worn carpets and furniture. This was the only downside and would not put me off future stays. Would definitely like to return. Thank you to all.

Nice facilities good location ”

The bar area was nice, great views from the bar on the 23rd floor

Nice beds, good service and excellent facilities. Free safe. About 18 channels on the TV whih is standard, but i dont know why i was expecting satalite tv seen as we paid for a room? The pay per view was a rip off, it was over 20 pound to order a film, i found that excessive i wouldnt mind paying 10 pound. We had a standard twin room which had everything you expect , quite modern, comfy , however the beds are a little close together but are nice comfy beds but are single beds, however and the room is big enough for a couple of nights but not massive no sort of living area, (it wouldnt fit 2 double bed ins) I imagine there are good views to be had if you get a high floor as the windows are large and the rooms have air con which is very refreshing but we were given a room on the 4th floor even though we asked for a high floor. They did let us check in early with no extra charge which was nice. The gym seemed adequate the pool ok for a little dip but a little small for serious swimming and its a little narrow so any more than 6-7 in it is packed really. The steam room and sauna and jaccuzzi was nice I did not try the breakfast and the prices for the room service and the mini bar were quite expensive to be expected at the hilton i suppose so we did not use this. We did use the fridge to store water and a few cokes that we bought, we emptied some of theres and put them back in the next day. When we checked out they tryed to charge 40 pound for the mini bar, as i said the prices are expensive , we didnt pay as we explained we hadnt used anything simply used the fridge, it must have sensors to know you have taken things out? so leave it alone! Bar 23 was good a little bit of a wait but worth it, the cocktails were nice, the views good and a nice chilled out ambionce. I would only really stay here for an hour or so, until the novity wares off as it is more like a resturant than a bar, you get given a table and have to order with a waitress who brings your drinks

Another great experience at a Hilton Hotel”

Comfortable spacious room with large shower and bath in executive room

Friendly staff greeted us on arrival and later upgraded us to an executive suite as a result of our Hilton elite status. This provided us with free wifi, complimentary drinks and tapas between 6-8pm and full breakfast. Hotel is a 15 minute walk to Arndale and near to lots of lovely restaurants. Will be staying here again.
