The room was spacious and they were able to accommodate my request for an anniversary surprise set up (free of charge). Thank you! The ballons were unexpected and well appreciated ;) We stayed here for 2 consecutive nights, the room set up gave us a surprise. I wasn’t expecting the banner and ballons. With Dusit and Okura, they would provide a complimentary cake + the swan towels. Really appreciate the effort and my daughter had fun with the ballons! The room was spacious and the exact room we booked was given to us. The bathroom had a bathtub so yay for our daughter. The AC was working fine and well. The lighting could improve since the options for the switches were limited. I love the sofa and the wide space it provided. Our room was facing the Newport Mall. Location wise, it is reasonable if you have a flight as it is near the airport. The hotel is connected to the Newport mall and very near if we would use the bridge. Cleanliness, it was okay, they cleaned the room if you request it. The hallways do not smell like cigarettes so it’s good if you are traveling with kids. The staff were nice but overall it didn’t give the aura of a family friendly hotel unlike with Sheraton. The staff were attentive to adults but not so much with kids. Facilities wise, they have the same pool as Sheraton but they do not have a separate playroom. Their play area is located within Kusina. Kusina — this I highly recommend! The food here is shockingly amazing! The options were numerous and they all stood out. This is one if the breakfast we truly enjoyed. The staff here were attentive and kid friendly. They also have a kid’s corner which we truly appreciated. The Japanese corner was so-so but overall, highly recommended. Overall, definitely coming back especially to Kusina. Kusina would be the highlight in this hotel!
