Very friendly staff, beautiful and clean rooms with a nice view. The hotel offers a lot with its facilities. Super good located. Parking lot right next to hotel. All in all a very good Hilton experience.

Awesome stay”
We had a wonderful stay here. We arrived at 8 PM on Thursday night and we’re only staying for one night. When we inform the staff we would have a dog with us and they didn’t even charge us a pet fee. Then they informed us that they were giving us an upgrade and we went to our room. We were surprised with a suite with living room and a small kitchen. The best part was that the room looked out onto Mission Bay. We had thought we would wake up and go kayaking because we had brought her own and this made that goal so much easier. We were able to walk our kayaks right to the bay from my room. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone considering it. It is absolutely beautiful and the staff is awesome.

My door lock battery wasn't working so we waited in the hall 30 minutes to get some assistance and when we got in the the air conditioning wasn't working and the room was warm when we came in...View wasn't that great and they charge you $40 a day fot parking that is ridiculous....Will not be come back or recommended this place

Understaffed, disorganized, and unhelpful staff. Spent over an hour on the phone trying to speak to anyone about questions regarding our reservation. Took over half an hour to check in due to 40+ people standing in line to do the same. Hefty parking fee is an extra cost and not included in room fee. Will never stay here again.

This is a gorgeous hotel in a prime location. The staff were nice but clearly understaffed. Took us over an hour to check in. Also, through a traveling site we book this hotel at $250 a night with a ‘supposed’ outstanding bay view. All we got was a sliver of the bay and a whole lot of shipping containers.

In room telephone is out of order. I have to use the telephone in front of the elevatir instead. In room amenities are not prompt, i've requested a pair of slipper but hotel said that it is out of stock!!!. This is 5 stars hotel not 1 star hotel.

Very nice location but hotel staff not what is expected of a premium Hilton”
Upon arrival I was checked in using my forename and surname as a single word, this despite having a pre booking with Agoda in the system and handing over my passport. This caused 30 minutes of mass confusion in the Velo restaurant where I was apparently suspected of not knowing how to spell my own name and therefore not the real guest. Next morning shower was scalding hot and unusable no repair team available before my meeting so a shower in the sink. Back to the Velo restaurant where I was left in no doubt the restaurant is run for the convenience of the waiting staff and any customer request for seating was to be ignored. On returning that eve shower fixed but sink was now blocked fixed the next day. I took room service rather than deal with restaurant staff and food was very poor quality, it was a burger and fries surely the Hilton can manage that? I can go on but have run out of allowed characters, far better hotels available in San Diego try them first

Same your money and book somewhere else”
It would have been nice to have been advised before booking that the convention center right across from the hotel is open to the homeless. We literally we’re walking within Hotel property and there was 2 homeless doing drugs. It’s pet friendly hotel that you have to walk out of the hotel and have them use the grass area which is okay but late at night with the homeless you did not feel safe. Then to be advised only at check in the pool is 2hr max with appt. It would be nice if it’s stated on the website.

This place is rip off ”
This place is disgusting: 1) they don’t offer free WiFi their promo code doesn’t work! 2) We had to pay $40 for parking 3) there is a view on a homeless road and dumpster 4) the windows wasn’t washed probably sincew 1990 5) it’s old and overpriced 6) stuff was rude and expect no customer service… Never again I will stay at the Hilton especially for 408$ a night! Rip off…

Aggravated by chinciness with computer access”
The absence of free wifi was expected and detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. But what ruined my experience was the parallel absence of a complimentary computer-printer for running off my boarding passes. Yes, the ever-friendly staff did refer me upstairs to a UPS business center -- where I would have been charged for the privilege. I declined to do so, deciding to wait until I got to the airport. As a result of this experience, I left the San Diego Bayfront Hilton feeling a bit hostile and certainly without any warm, fuzzy feelings towards the establishment.

Wonderful bay view, great location, great service”
We only stayed one night in San Diego but we had a great time because of the good choice for hotel. It is beautifully located and is close to convention center, rail transit, 2-min drive to Coronado island, 5 min walk to gas lamp area. We walked to gas lamp and found lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops spread in several blocks in gas lamp area. Guess it will be much more exciting at night. Pity we have to leave the next day. I had a little trouble opening my room door but bellman Paul was kind enouth to keep me company and offered a lot of help for our sight seeing the next day. He even gave two complimentary coupons for drink and food in Starbucks in the hotel building. Thank you Paul.

US and Latin in a pot”
This is our second time to stay at this hotel. We were amazed by the view and the location, therefore it became our top list for staying at San Diego. The beach walk was so attractive. Totally in the vacation mode. Some attractions are easy to get to by driving or walking or by public transportation. The old town and convention center are walking distance from the hotel.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway to San Diego. The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and relatively new-looking with a nice partial view of the bay. The room was a good average size. Housekeeping was good, but discreet. We hardly ever saw them, but our rooms were clean and beds were made whenever we got back. Designer toiletries smelled nice.

I had a great time at the Hilton. I came down to celebrate my buddy's birthday and this hotel met all of my needs. Compared to other hotels in San Diego, this might be the best bang for your buck. Highly recommended to anyone, especially solo travelers.

We were attending the Paul McCartney concert in Petco Park and decided to stay at the Hilton Bayfront because it's right across the street from that venue. The hotel is right on the bay with great views and lots of services right there.
