About this property

Nearly central from both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports, Hilton Strathclyde Hotel is situated just one mile from scenic Strathclyde Country Park. Strathclyde in Gaelic means 'valley of the River Clyde' and represents a historic subdivision of Scotland while being very close to the center of Glasgow. Experience Vikingar, just 200 yards away where you will be enthralled by a multi-media journey through time from the earliest Viking invasion to their defeat at the battle of Largs in 1263. Walk back in time with Odin, the Viking God of War, in this amazing five-screen film presentation. Whilst in the area, enjoy the nearby Koh-I-Noor restaurant in Coatbridge for Indian, British, and Arabic cuisine.

Comfortable stay
Pleasant stay at this Hilton, not too far away from Morrisons and other shops but a bit far from Glasgow, which didn't bother us too much as we wanted to rest away from the busy city. May be a problem for others needing to get into the city. Staff at reception friendly and warm, room was nice and spacious.

this hotel exists in the middle of nowhere. their is absolutely nothing around this hotel. all rooms face a dull car park. i would not reccomend this hotel. £15 for a sandwhich. avoid at all costs. small beds! hard pillows! no fridge! horrible!

Not on par with other Hilton hotels we have stayed
Special price we obtained. Breakfast selection is good. location is central for sightseeing
First night was very loud due to Teenagers partying in next room. however location is excellent for central Scotland sight seeing. Breakfast selection was very good. Spa and pool are 1st class
