Great hotel, great staff, great location”
the hotel is at the 5 first floors of a high rise building. the remaing floors are serviced apartments. with a superb location, just a few steps from the beach surfers' paradise, surrounded by shops, restaurants, clubs, practically anything you can wish, this is really a diamond of hotels. the staff was utmost service-minded and helpful. the room was also very nice - we had a twin room. it was adequate in size and standard. the breakfast buffet was not really a genuine hilton one. i suppose it reflects the type of clients the hotel has, more surfers, people on holiday rather than business people. even if there were most items to be found, it was just not "the hilton breakfast".
Great hotel, friendly staff, excellent location!”
I had a great stay at the Hilton Surfers Paradise. I was upgraded to a deluxe sea view room on arrival and had a large clean room with a big bathroom. Very nice sea views from my hotel balcony. Staff were very friendly and room service was excellent. The hotel is in a great location in cental Surfers Paradise and is close to the beach as well as shops and restaurnats.
great hotel with great hospitality!”
we strongly recommend this hotel. location was great, staff was very helpful and always gave a great service. bed was really comfortable. nite view was very fantastic! we we given a room facing hard rock cafe surfers paradise and gold coast and seaview as well.. it was just perfect!
It's about the staff”
Friendly, efficient and helpful staff that made my stay even better. I had the base level room, it was comfortable, clean and quiet. I was disappointed when I found out that the in house movie are no longer but the staff organised a DVD player and a selection of movies for me... excellent, even the maintenance man who installed the player was cheerful and friendly. You can have the best place in the world but it's the staff that makes it memorable. Well done Hilton Surfers Paradise 👌
Beautiful rooms and great location”
loved the location of the hilton hotel in surfers paradise. rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds and pillows, and continental style dooners with no top sheet. in the very clean bathroom was a magnified mirror on the wall...my make up has never looked so good...what a great idea!! service was friendly and efficient and nice to see aussies employed. wish the weather had been better, would have loved to swim in the magnificent pool...next visit.
Where to begin, We booked a king relaxation room with an ocean view through agdoa.com to enjoy a little/mini honeymoon away. Upon check it we found out that this wasn't the case. There seem to be a mis-communication between Hilton and Agdoa. All our booking confirmation stated king relaxation room however Hilton received the booking as a basic room. The duty manager at the time came out and greeted up and apologized for the mix up. However due to the popularity of this hotel, there were no rooms available besides what the basic room that was placed under our original booking. The options/compensation that were originally given was a free 60 min massage in the spa for both my wife and myself. however we felt like this was not a suitable compensation. We were quite disappointed with this proposal as we paid for a king relaxation and we were going to be given the most basic room and a massage to make things right. We did not book the Hilton for the spa facilitates, we booked this hotel for the prime location, service and breath taking ocean views. The duty manager did her best and provided another 2 options, a 2 bed room apartment with a city view or a deluxe room with part view of the ocean. However again we felt like this was not an adequate compensation. With the deluxe room with partial ocean view, we were essentially over paying for this room. Again the main reason was for the ocean views. We mention this to the duty manager and she provided some compensation in regards to a refund of the difference between the two room. We weren't too happy about this as this was meant to be a romantic weekend away. After discussing with the manager, we agreed that we would stay in the deluxe room and in addition we would be returning the following weekend to stay at the Hilton in a king relaxation room. With regards to the hotel itself, it is an amazing place with the stunning executive lounge, the fantastic breakfast buffet, great employees. We look forward to another amazing
New hotel close to the beach”
stayed five nights over the january period. usually quite hot weather on the gold coast this time of year, but unfortunately rained the entire time. the hotel is very new. the fit out of the hotel is excellent and the service from the staff is 5-star. its just a short walk to the beach, the hotel is set back from main beach by about 100m. it is only a short walk to the shops and any of the surrounding attractions of the gold coast. the only drawback is that the hotel is set right along the notorious gold coast night club strip. this seems to suit the multitude of individuals who descend on the hotel at weekends to have a bender at one of the neighbouring night clubs. our room was on about the 12th floor which was well above the noise of the clubs and had great views of the ocean.
Great location and nice view of the sea, ”
This is a brand new hotel that was just opened recently. The Twin room we booked is too small for the family so with additional AUD 100 per night, we upgraded an apartment. The apartment is clean and spacious, and equipped with house items like LED TVs, DVD players, alarm clock, washing machines, dish washer, electric iron, microwave oven and a refrigerator. Our apartment is on the 38th floor, so with the nice view from that height, we see no point of visiting the Skypoint. As a Muslim visitors, we have no problem looking for Halal food. There are Halal Kebabs and pizzas stores right across the streets. You can also find Asian food by walking along the Surfer Paradise Boulevard. There's also no problem having breakfast at the hotel. By special request you can ask for Halal sausages from the Chefs. We certainly enjoy our stay there.
Good if not exceptional”
Hilton worldwide is excellent, but at surfers paradise is not as plush.... I frankly enjoyed more at the smaller service apartments around the beach on goldcoast..... Hilton does not do the justice to the feel of gold coast, apart from the location and the brand name....
Perfect location, great staffs, great executive lo”
Hotel is right at heart of Surfers Paradise, 1 minutes walk to the main beach, a lot of restaurants / breakfast in early morning, lunch, dinner & shops & convenient store around, super market Wollworth just 1 minutes walk, tours book through hotel has same price as outside. I stayed at executive room so can access to executive lounge where offering you continental breakfast, after noon drink & especially evening drink with good wine & very relaxed view to the sea
Worth every penny!”
located in the heart of surfers paradise, so travellers (first-timers like me) need not worry about travelling too far to get to anywhere. it is the hilton, but for the price we paid for the rooms were spacious and definitely well-cleaned! would definitely stay with them again!
Good hotel for vacation.”
We went up to Gold Coast together with another couple for a short holiday break & were happy that the Hilton met all our criteria for a good time. We didn't even need to hire a car as the hotel was located near restaurants and shops - with easy public transportation and taxi service to tourist spots. Will return to stay at Hilton again in the future.
Relaxing,Very comfortable with tiny dissapointment”
Our stay was great! Through Agoda I found a deal for the Accessible Room at the Hilton and it was definitely spacious and Im sure a person in need of the facilities would enjoy the room thoroughly. The bed was sooooo comfortable, infact the two nights we spent there were the only times my 2 month son slept through the entire night and I had to wake him for feeds. The location is so central to everything and even though we were on a low level of the hotel, noise was not a problem at all. Check out time was 12pm which was a godsend. However, I would have liked to have a kitchenette as I have a young family and was surprised to learn, they only come in the Hilton Residences Apartments and found the room very basic for what I paid for. I was also disappointed to find mould in the shower and on the fan in the shower also. In the end, my family and I enjoyed our stay and I would like to stay in the Hilton Residences nexttime round!
Very relaxing and enjoyable.”
We loved our stay at the Hilton on the Gold Coast and will happily book again for the executive suites as the extras that are included are very generous. The Spa and Pool area was brilliant also and the staff were very friendly. So close to Cavil Ave (2min walk) and many options for eating out. The beach is a 5min walk away and the view from the room was beautiful.
Really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Originally placed on the seventh floor facing the Hilton apartments, but had to move to a higher floor on request due to the loud party music playing at the clubs until 5am in the morning. We were moved to a higher floor with ocean views and had no more noisy thumping music. The Salt restaurant was fantastic and loved the little cafe on the ground floor for coffee and brekkie. Cant wait to return to Surfers Hilton again in the near future! It was the best location.
Very nice hotel, great location, friendly staff.”
Very nice hotel, would recommend to anyone. Hotel is in a great location in Surfers Paradise, close to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The hotel offered me a complementary upgrade on arrival to a deluxe sea view room. Large spacious rooms with nice big bathrooms. Very nice restaurant at hotel.
Hilton Sufers Paradise 2015 FEB Saturday Stay”
Genearlly good, but poor value for money in FEB 2015. But as always I saty there when I gold coast, I can always rest well at Hilton Sufers Paradise. And that's all I need.
Almost good nice room and service. we lost our passports in the room and left hotel. hotel found them but didn't call me at once. When we went back to Brisbane and to the second day, we found we lost something in the hotel. But we plan to go to Sydney and already bought tickets. So we missed the plane and go to Gold Coast to get our passport and then buy tickets again. I wondering why the hotel didn't call me at once when they found our passports 😡😡😡
Excellent hotel in a great central location”
We were given a complimentary upgrade to executive floor upon check in. The staff who checked us in was very helpful and made an effort to connect with guest by identifying commonalities with the guest. The hotel was in the most central part of Surfers Paradise within minutes walk to the smooth sandy beach. Parking was convenient as the hotel had a great system in place to make the process convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
i haven't stayed in a lot of high end hotels & never a hilton before, so take this review with a grain of salt, but to say we were impressed was an under-statement. we got a free upgrade (likely because of schoolies) to a 2 bedroom apartment & it was very stylish & perfectly clean. amazing views & surprisingly good sound insulation from the schoolies beach concerts. the staff were run off their feet with all the schoolies checking in that day on top of other guests. but they all did well to not lose focus. parking was hassle free & suited my cars lower than average clearance. pools were great, breakfast was great, location was great. summary, it was perfect :) ah no it wasn't perfect actually. i was shocked to find out that not one room had a spa. how could you build a stylish hotel like this & not include decent 2 person spas?? madness! for that reason alone, i will be looking at other hotels in the future.
