Highly recommended hotel! ”
I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. In terms of accessibility, you can ride an airport limousine from Narita International Airport which takes you right in front of the hotel. You just need to go up 2 elevators for the front desk lobby to check-in though. The main lobby is huge! With wide windows facing Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge. It's such a magnificent sight especially coming from a long trip. The rooms are big by Japanese standards and squeeky clean. Room lighting is a bit dark but bearable. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Disneyland is very convenient. The hotel is near major shopping areas in Daiba i.e. Aqua City, Divers City, Venus Port, etc. which makes eating, shopping and sight-seeing very convenient. The Daiba station is also a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Hilton Hotel Odaiba. I highly recommend it to family and friends and will definitely be back in this hotel if I do visit Tokyo again.
Best hotel to relax in Odaiba area”
this hotel's main selling point are the tokyo cityscape views from the hotel room. the room with the best view in the hotel is the rainbow tower room, you can see the bridge and the tokyo tower from inside the room. except the park view room, any other room has a clear view of the city, bridge, and tower when you step out the balcony. we booked the ocean view room. the beds were nice and comfortable. you don't have to get a hotel to see the views though, but if you're planning on staying in odaiba, this is the hotel to book. it's conveniently located by the train station, although i wouldn't recommend choosing this site as your home base for exploring tokyo. but i felt like there was so much to see in odaiba, we just had to stay a couple nights. oh and i need to mention the staff are so super friendly and helpful! we really felt like valued guests at this hotel.
5 star hotel in stragegic location”
our stay in nikko hotel tokyo is superb considering the discounted price we manage to get from agoda. location wise is very stragegic as its in odaiba and the odaiba station is just 1 minute away from the hotel. it also provides free shuttle to disneyland tokyo, so basically transportation is not a problem if you stay in this hotel.nearby attractions include the toyota showcase, fuji tv station 2 shopping malls all within walking distance or there is free shuttle bus to go to these attractions. view from our hotel was also superb in that we got the view of ocean/part of the port.we truly enjoyed our stay in tokyo not to mention the cleanliness, civility and civic mindedness of the japanese, we felt truly welcomed...
We had a splendid stay at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. The view in our hotel room balcony is magnificent. The Rainbow Bridge is truly iconic. The buffet breakfast is fulfilling with lots of choices. Hilton is near everything -- malls, the train station, 2 short rides to Tokyo City proper and Ueno, and has a free shuttle to and from the Disney Parks (Disneyland and Disneysea). Will return to this place soon!
Contrary to what some previous reviews suggested, we had very few problems communicating in English with the staff and we were encouraged to go through the checking in process as soon as we arrived with the key to be picked up any time after 3. Our room had a fantastic view of the bay and Rainbow Bridge. We never tired of the view, day or night. The spa was brilliant, especially the outdoor Jacuzzi with its views of the bay and bridge as well as the local area. Cleanliness was 1st class – no issues whatsoever. Location meant that, to connect to the city centre & metro, we had to use the monorail. However, the longest delay between trains was 5 minutes (day or night) so delays were minimal and we were out of the city bustle during the evenings. The location also meant that we were close to the fantastic facilities on Odaiba (malls, restaurants, Diver City, Miraikan Science Museum, the national dance festival, etc). The bay side bar in the evening was the perfect way to round off great days. We’ve been back a few days now and I’m struggling to think of a criticism – maybe the 10 minute wait for a breakfast table early on the day we went on our Fuji trip – no big deal really. When I think back my over-powering memory was of the friendly, helpful, respectful attitude of the Nikko staff who made our stay a memorable one. When we return to Tokyo we will not consider an alternative hotel.
Lovely hotel. Impeccable staff.”
From arrival to leaving the staff were always courteous, impeccably turned out and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are well presented and the beds are really comfortable. We are used to having bedding changed every 2nd or 3rd day.....these were changed EVERY day! The bathroom cosmetics were lovely, the shower was good and powerful but the toilet was the best! lol Certainly liked the privacy button and the make up room button. This enabled us to sleep in if needed and the room was always ready for our return. Requested an iron and board - it practically arrived at the room before we managed to get to the 12th floor! Service or what? Really sorry that I didn't make more of the spa and pool. So much to see and do in Tokyo, I only got to use the pool on our last day. The shame of this hotel is that as of October it will be taken over by Hilton. Although we stay in Hiltons I just hope that they keep some of the staff on, as any hotel is only as good as the staff providing the service! Thank you Hotel Nikko Tokyo, we had a really lovely stay. Who knows, maybe we'll be back to compare the experience with Hilton!
Affordable Luxury in Tokyo”
For the kind of luxury and service the hotel provides, the price is not so steep compared to other brand-name hotels in notoriously expensive Tokyo, especially since it includes breakfast buffet and use of the spa. The spa turned out to be the most memorable part of my stay. Heated pools, jacuzzi, and the magnificent outdoor hot tub that has a view of Tokyo Bay, Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower. Staff were very courteous and helpful, location on Odaiba Island makes it very accessible from Haneda (Tokyo Int'l Airport), and there's a train station right in front which can take you to the heart of Tokyo. Wish I could come back and stay there longer!
Great hotel. The location on Odaiba is fantastic if you want a quiet place to relax after a day in Tokyo. The view of Tokyo bay makes it very nice. Staffs are very helpful and speaks english. The Spa was very nice too, fantastic massage at a reasonable price for a big hotel. The malls around the hotel offer great dining options, except for breakfast as they open only at 9am. so for breakfast you either eat at the hotel or walk 2 blocks away to Mcdonalds. Shopping at Decks is only a 5min walk. Hotel is connected to the Yurikamome so easy train ride to Tsukiji or Ginza area, and also to Tokyo Big sight. The Airport Limousine Bus will bring you directly to and from the hotel to both airport.
Wonderful hospitality service. All the staffs are kind and helpful, handsome and beautiful :) Convenitent, super easy to reach. Shopping mall and sightseeing spots are in walkable distance. Room is tidy and comfly. The balcony brings the breathtaking view from day to night. I arrived much earlier before than normal check-in time. They had no hesitation to arrange a ready-to-serve room before noon, and helped me to apply free wifi service in hotel as well as whole Odaiba area. Can't be better, right? You rock, Hotel Hilton Odaiba!
Well run hotel - good value in Tokyo”
The Hotel Nikko is on the man made island of Odaiba in Tokyo Harbor. Great for families as you are relatively close to Disneyland and the hotel provides bus service (for a fee). The Island is geared for families. There are two large malls within five minutes walking distance from the hotel that features activities for children. Rooms are up to the high Japanese standard for cleanliness and are a decent size for Tokyo. The hotel is equipped with exercise room, sauna and spa. Employees are all helpful and their English is at least serviceable if not often very good. the hotel restaurants are good but pricey. More reasonable restaurants are available in the malls. A monorail leaves for the city every 10 minutes so you are not isolated. There is also a water bus if the monorail tends to pale. Airport buses will take you directly to the hotel from either Narita or Haneda airports. Not that breakfast in the hotel is expensive and shops open late. You may have to depend on the local Starbucks or something from the local bakery if you are an early riser. One real plus of the hotel is that the location means that it is not as hot and sticky in the summer as more central locations.
Resort get away overlooking the bay&downtown Tokyo”
Went as a weekend get-away to relax and be within walking distance of some cool things to do without having to travel too far from where I live in Tokyo. The hotel was AWESOME. You exit the hotel right into the heart of where everything is happening in Odaiba. Our room overlooked Tokyo bay and the rainbow-bridge, as well as the Tokyo Tower. I was there with my fiancé and the view at night was very romantic. The rooms are very large in comparison to what one normally gets here in Japan. I would definitely stay here again.
Completely Perfect for Couple”
I booked for a suit room. It was awesome in every single corners. To compare with Hilton Paddington Hotel (London), I give Hilton Odaiba 10/10 while Peddington 7/10. If I have a trip to Tokyo next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
Best Value in Tokyo”
We have stayed 6 nights in this hotel (ocean view with breakfast buffet included). The price was 40% off as a long stay booking. The service is excellent (I travelled many countries in north America, south America, European countries, Caribbean etc) but I have never experienced such a perfect service.Everybody speaks English so we had no problem of communication. Contrarly to other hotels in Japan, non-smoking room was absolutely non-smoking (no trace of cigaret smell). Room was spacious (as Japanese hotel) and clean, hotel amenities were perfect (safety razor, tooth brush with tooth paste, hair brush, shower cap, hair band, body soap, shampoo, conditionner, skin cream, & soap). A set of house coat, slippers and pajamas were provided daily. Mini bar items are plenty (although expensive), 3 types of free tea bags, automatic kettle provided continuously hot water. Free electronic safe. Closet space was a little bit small. Bed console give you a total control of all lights in the room. 'Do not disturb' sign is electronic and be careful not to forget to turn off when you go out (we forgot once, but when we came back to the room that night, message was left on our phone and they provided us turn down service to exchange towels and house coats and new set of amenities). The vie of Tokyo Bay from the room is gogeous especially in the night facing to Rainbow bridge. There were many excursion boats (restaurant-Karaoke) stayed near the hotel every night. Many attractions and all kind of restaurants were nearby (walking distance). Morning buffet was excellent in quality of food, service, presentation etc... both Japanese foods and western style foods are available and again the servivce was excellent. There was a choice of dining room (restaurant), we could choose one of two restaurants for breakfast (although the contents were similar). Going to Tokyo station was easy as Yurikamome line passes beside the hotel 300 yards from the main entrance of the hotel, but going to Shi
Marvelous Harborside Oasis”
Checkin smooth and was given upgrade to room on 13th flr with outstanding views over Tokyo Bay. Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo nitescape very beautiful. Loved watching the passing boat traffic with red lanterns on the sightseeing boats. Odaiba area is very new and has good shopping and eating choices. I suggest Hibiki's outdoor terrace for dining under the stars and superb views in next door Aqua City on 6th floor. This complex closed until 10AM so for breakfast look for Tully's on road level in next complex beyond for takeout to nearbye beach.
A five star hotel with a reasonable price”
The rate we booked is value for money for a 5 star hotel although breakfast is not included. Hotel is about 30 min from JR Shinjuku station. Room is spacious and clean with sea facing view. Located within 3 min walk from Odaiba station. Aqua City is only 3 min walk from the hotel. You can find variety of food at Aqua City. I have tried Tsukiji Restaurant Gen Chan and the food is nice. We have a stroll at night besides the hotel & Aqua City enjoying the beautiful scenery of Rainbow Bridge which is a most memorable time for our Tokyo trip.
This was the 2nd I came to Tokyo and the 2nd time I stayed at Hotel Nikko Tokyo. The oceanview rooms have an amazing view, don't take a room which is not on that side because it's really worth it. Small balcony for taking pictures is awesome and you can spend some refreshing moments there. The bathrooms are great, clean and modern, the beds are just wonderful. The breakfast is great as well, and the location is excellent if you are willing to walk 100m to the Monorail which brings you directly to Tokyo Big Sight (if you are working there) or to Shinbashi within 10min. For the price that I paid, I think this hotel is a great, GREAT deal! One of the best hotels I have every stayed in.
A fine hotel”
This is a great hotel, and very reasonably priced. The restaurants are superb, and also great value. The location, right next to Odaiba station lets you go anywhere in Tokyo cheaply and quickly. It is also close to three major shopping, dining and entertainment areas. And the view of Tokyo bay and the Rainbow bridge is great.
great hotel with unhelpful staff”
hilton odaiba is very great hotel, with excellent view from our room like rainbow bridge & liberty statue... spacious room also.. they also have a shuttle to from disneyland and airport shuttle as well... but.... a lil bit our dissappontment is their staff.. they are so unhelpful with very minimum english speaking... in hilton odaiba we had to call customer service every night just for mineral water, because according to their staff information the complimentary mineral water just served for the first night (we stayed for 5 nights)... is it true?? because when i stayed at other hilton hotel in diffrent country there are no such regulation...
Excellent service with great view of Tokyo skyline”
Located on the island of Odaiba. Takes about half an hour to commute into the city. Very large room for a hotel in Tokyo. Great service with great Tokyo skyline view from our balcony. The hotel is actually pedestrain-linked to the monorail station, so getting around is super easy. Definitely recommend.
Nice Comfortable Hotel”
Hilton is known for prestige hotel. The room were great. Beds are huge. Bathrooms are clean. The Odaiba area is out of the way from Tokyo center (Shinjuku). You'll have to keep changing train. But there's free shuttle to Shinagawa station where offices are. Check in stuff were polite but horribly slow. I'm so surprise the service coming from Hilton is bad. We had to wait around 30 mins or even longer to check in. And when we want to pay for our shuttle bus to the airport we had to queue back into the check in line which takes forever, just to pay for the bus service. Other than that, overall it's ok.
