Great location with great service”
I really enjoy staying at Hilton Tokyo a lot. I chose this hotel because Airport limousine can send me in front of the hotel. But I found out later that hotel also provide free shuttle bus from hotel to Shinjuku train station, the bus leave every 20 mins which is very convenient. This shuttle bus also take you back to the hotel from Shinjuku station as well. You can ask for the bus timetable at the reception. Also there's a subway connection right from the hotel lobby. I can get out the train at Nishi-shinjuku station and walk underground around 3 mins and pop up right inside the hotel lobby! Really convenient! Room view is great as I stayed at high floor. Really appreciate this hotel and I will recommend to everyone I know if they're going to Tokyo.
5 star hotel but not too infant friendly”
stayed three nights here after spending two nights at tokyo disneyland hotel. because the latter was built with children in mind, hilton tokyo pales in comparison in this respect. however, our three nights at hilton were still worth five stars from me. the underpass links to the marunouchi metro line which is great. just one metro stop to where the shinjuku shopping belt is. i highly recommend this hotel for business & couples.
Top Notch Hotel, Location and Experience”
We were in Tokyo for the sightseeing. The Tokyo Hilton was located just a short walk from Shinjuku station making it really easy to get around Tokyo via the public transport system. The experience staying at the Tokyo Hilton really added to our holiday. Friendly staff, excellent sized rooms and a good buffet breakfast to start of the day. My only gripe is the amount they charge for room wifi, its 16000 yen per day and that's for each device.
Terrific First Experience in Tokyo”
We stayed in the Hilton in one of their Junior Executive Suites. The room was large and quite a surprise as I had heard that room sizes were much smaller in Tokyo. The hotel itself is really large and filled with both business people and tourists. The executive level includes access to the executive club. My family really enjoyed the breakfast which had an amazing variety of Japanese and Western options. We also enjoyed the amenities offered in the executive club and were thankful for the very helpful concierge staff. The bathroom was a little small given the size of the room but the overall experience was really nice. The location is walking distance to the subway and restaurants in the Shinjuku area. Overall, a great first experience.
Great hotel in Tokyo. ”
Great Hilton hotel as expected. Room is clean and BIG in Tokyo standard. Staff is friendly and helpful. A bit away from Shinjuku station but there is free shuttle provided. Transport from/to airport by limousine bus is easier although it takes longer than train. Subway station is only 5 minutes walk. Breakfast offers a lot of selections from Western to traditional Japanese. Overall, one of the best hotels for business travellers and those who wants to explore Tokyo but stay away from the hustles.
Good location and excellent concierge”
Stayed at the Hilton with a friend for a 3 night stay in January. The Hilton was conveniently located and close to the subway (you can reach it direct from the hotel lobby) which made it easy to get around. It was safe walking from Shinjuku station to the hotel at night time. The rooms were spacious enough, the bathroom clean and modern. Overall they were comfortable and cosy. The highlight was the excellent concierge service. All the staff on the concierge desk (and there was plenty of staff at all times) were knowledgeable, responded to our needs and interests and were friendly. They made our experience of getting around Tokyo much smoother because they advised us on the best routes to take and what to see. We were also able to buy our 1 day subway pass from the concierge desk, which was convenient. They also let us go up to the executive floor to get a glimpse of Mount Fuji because the observation tower was closed on the day we wanted to go.
Perfect location and great breakfast”
Iam so excited to stay at Hilton Tokyo Hotel, the perfect location nearby Shinjuku Station that made so easy commute everywhere by train.Futhermore the hotel provided shutle bus from and to the Hotel and station is added value.I will stay again at Hilton Tokyo Hotel whenI coming back again to Tokyo. It will be my first choice!
An amazing stay at Hilton Tokyo”
I had a great stay at the Hilton Tokyo Hotel. My room was a junior king suite and it was very spacious nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the see through option to the shower/bath. he shower/bath stall had a little bit of an odor. The breakfast didn't have too many choices but the quality of the ingredients was outstanding. I loved the bread rolls. They were just like in Germany, really good. Sad that nobody seems to be able to bake these in the U.S. and you have to go all the way to Tokyo to get a simple roll. The accompanying honey and fruit preserves were outstanding. The executive lounge was a very welcoming place to hang out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing experience.
This is my first time on Hilton Tokyo, my mother and I was glad about the convenient location, and also the breakfast was good. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed is about the Limousine bus to the Haneda airport. I made a reservation of bus early because of the big snow, but when I check-out around 10:30 the next day,the staff of front desk ask me if I will go to airport by bus ,and said all the bus was canceled. And I didn't be informed by a call, also the front desk didn't have the information of our stay. Luckily, I still have time to change my plan, and my flight was a night flight so I still catch it. I can not imagine if I check-out more lately, or what if the staff forget to ask and we come back 3 hours later for the bus and find no bus...... :( The reason about I stay here for the first time, was recommend by my friend who is always choose Hilton worldwide. It was not a good ending of my stay, and it surely will decreased the chance for choose Hilton Tokyo again.
Good location, great service and amenities”
Hilton is always my hotel of choice whenever I visit Tokyo. It's located in a rather quiet area of Shinjuku but it's within walking distance (not to mention free shuttle service to the Shinjuku station). Staffs are always helpful and friendly. Room size is huge, by Japanese standard, with great amenities.
Nice hotel for a stay in Tokyo.”
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. It is in Shinjuku, but about a 5 min shuttle bus from the main station. There is a subway station fairly close to the hotel however. A word of warning, if you are taking the shuttle from the JR station to the hotel, the shuttle is mainly for passengers without luggage. If you have many big suitcases, they will not open the luggage storage under the shuttle, you have to struggle with it up into the shuttle. Our only complaint about this hotel was the lack of free internet. Come on Hilton! If hotels half your price provide free internet, how do you get away with charging 1600 a night!
Great location & executive lounge, friendly staff”
I stayed at the Hilton Tokyo for two nights to explore Tokyo. It is conveniently located a short walk from the station with direct access from the hotel and is close to all the attractions. As a diamond member you have free wifi and access to the executive lounge which supplies great food, drinks (including alcohol) and a view to match. The rooms are clean and reasonably sized, the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall great stay!
As you all know Hilton is one of the more expensive hotels in the world. However they are really worth the money. Hilton Tokyo had really friendly and helpful staff, most of which speak english. The hotel is also located near many places to eat and in comfortable walking distance to the shopping district in Shinjuku.
Great location and great service”
the hotel was in a great location, only 15 minutes walk to jr shinjuku station and 2 minutes to a tokyo metro subway station. also only a 10 minute walk to the entertainment and shopping areas of shinjuku. the staff were friendly and helpful when addressing our questions and requests. the room service menu was substantial and what we ordered was tasty. house keeping were quick and efficient. the buffet breakfast selection was large and of high quality, both japanese and western style. we were a bit disappointed that the pool and gym weren't available to us, even though it was generally implied that all guests were entitled to use them. no free wi-fi, unfortunately. we would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was glamorous beyond expectation!”
Initially, I was nervous about traveling abroad - Florida and Tokyo are a good distance away, this was my first trip to Tokyo. The concierge service was excellent, I was able to navigate throughout the city as tough I'd lived there all my life. The size of the room was bigger than I expected, the view of the Shinjuku business district was gorgeous, and the trains/subways were just a few feet away. There were many shops and places to dine throughout the hotel - there was even a pharmacy on the premises. I loved my stay and I look forward to visiting Tokyo again!!!
We stayed at the Hilton in Tokyo for 4 nights over the NY period, and we couldn't fault a single thing! Every staff member we spoke to was just as polite and helpful as the last. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from, the room service was also great, and reasonably priced. There wasn't a single thing we weren't very happy with and we will definitely stay again next trip to Tokyo! Two thumbs up!
Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms”
I traveled with my wife and my 3 year-old daughter. This is my first trip to Tokyo, although my wife is already very familiar with Japan and Tokyo. I choose to book Hilton only because I want to have a safe choice, no surprise, this is my safe choice! Very clean rooms; friendly and helpful staffs; not that great but reasonable breakfast; easy access to the subway lines. I had a great trip in Tokyo. The only concern is that obviously the choice of breakfast food for my daughter is kinda limited.
Superb experience ”
No surprises here and what anyone will expect of a hilton hotel. Large rooms by tokyo standard and free shuttles to shinjuku makes shopping and commute such a breeze. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable with a good continental and Asian blend. My default tokyo hotel in future.
Good hotel and good location”
The Tokyo Hilton is a very convenient place to stay, right near the main Shinjuku station. The Hilton meets the typical quality standard of the brand and is priced reasonably for Tokyo. The extras can be quite expensive though, internet, food, etc. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, especially if a good rate can be found.
