“Poor services & poor cleaning ”
The check-in time of Hilton Vancouver Metrotown is officially 4:00p.m. However, we have to wait until 5 p.m. but the room is still not available. The reception staff requested us to give them the mobile number so that they could call us once the room is ready. They don't even let us know the exact available time and just keep asking us to wait. We then complained it to the front desk Manager and then the room is surprisingly ready right away. That's totally not acceptable and rediculous. In addition, we found the bottles of body cleaning gel and hair conditioner are empty when we enter the room in the first day. Besides, There is no replacement for the toilet paper roll after housekeeper's daily cleaning. Carpet and the round table was not being cleaned during the whole period (1 week) of our stay as we found the cookies pieces was all over the table and floor. The bathroom floor was also not vacuumed daily as we found plenty of hair everywhere. We were supposed to have 2 complimentary bottles of water every day. We found 2 bottles of water at the first day with a message card mentioned that's free of charge. However, we haven't received the free bottles of water anymore after the first day and the message card was disappeared also. We never came across these poor services before as we traveled a lot. That's really spoiled the mood of our holidays as the stay was really unpleasant. We had booked a suite and the price of the hotel is expensive. I definitely won't recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. This is the worst hotel I have ever met.
