Comfortable historic immersion”
We stayed here one night between Tokyo and Kyoto. Amazing property with very old floors and traditional paper walls. It’s a building that you feel you should respect when you enter, especially because some things are fragile. The owners were very welcoming and we easily communicated in English. You do have to share a bath/shower room, but it has an amazing stone tub to soak in (after you wash), and it was one of the more memorable baths I’ve taken! Definitely felt like a traveler in the old days.
Thank you for your stay and message. We're so glad that you enjoyed traditional Japanese house at your stay. The bathroom was renovated three years ago. The bathtub made of Shigaraki pottery warms the body more. It's one of the pride of our Ryokan. Our pleasure is you had a nice stay at our Ryokan. We look forward to seeing you again.
Excellent”
If you want to have traditional experience in RYOKAN (Homestay), here is recommend place for you. Hotel is about 5 minute walk from Odawara Station.
Enjoy old Japanese style house”
Since the hotel is close to the JR railroad and the building is very old, you cannot avoid hearing the trains and people outside constantly. Strongly recommend rooms on the other side of the street which is slightly less noisy.
Thank you for staying this time. Because it is a very old inn, we think that it felt a lot of inconvenience during the stay. We apologize for taking this opportunity. Please drop in if you have the opportunity. We look forward to seeing you again.
