It feels like home”

great shower, great sleep, great hospitality, lovely environment

The minibus that i took from Suratthani arrived Satun very late! I was a bit worried as from review that i read, it mentioned that many people don't know about the place! True enough but straight away the problem solved once i asked the driver to call the number on my voucher..the owner of the dorm, told the driver to stay wherever he was and he collect me from there..It's less than 5min, he showed me place to have dinner, which is only less than a min walk from his place. The room was super clean, the towels fluffy, the details of amenities was impressive.. the fresh water shower was great! It's surprisingly clean for a shared type! also showed me the water heater and coffee pack which i can help myself with.. In the morning, i sat at the veranda and enjoy the village start its day with a cup of coffee in hand.. I feel like being at home!! Definitely stay there again whenever i visit Satun..

The best guesthouse I've ever stayed in”

Warm hearted owner, clean roon, convinient location

If you want to truly experience the Thai culture, this guesthouse is the best option. The room is very clean and in Thaistyle. You can also buy the hand-made massage oil which is made by the owner's mother. The owner is a super helper, he can speak English and French, he offered us several free rides. He even made a traditional Thai dish for us before we left. I'll definitely come back as Satun is a quite little town, but from here you can easily access to other famous sightseeing spots such as Ko Lipe and Langkawi.

Friendly staff”

Friendly/helpful owners, good value budget accommodation

We arrived in Satun later than expected so it was dark when we were walking around Satun town trying to find His & My Rentel (which nobody in town seemed to know about). After walking around for about one hour with our heavy backpacks, we finally found it and what a relief! (NB: If walking out of town, take the second road on the left and then the next right). The owner was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay enrolee to Langkawi. The shared bathroom was also very clean and had good hot water (and nice shower head!). In the morning, we helped ourselves to coffee in the kitchen and the owner passed on some very useful information about the ferry to Langkawi, including ferry times and the cheapest way to get to the ferry terminal from the guesthouse (30 baht songthaew from outside the Shell Station, about 2kms walk from the guesthouse). Would stay again.

Excellent Value for Money”

It was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Excellent the owner was really pleasant and helpful and the room was the nicest we stayed in the whole of Thailand. We used Satun as a stopover before getting the ferry to Langkawi we wish we had stayed longer there as the rest of Thailand was hugely disappointing.

Fantastic!! Super hospitality from Owners”

Very inexpensive, clean, comfortable and very friendly owners.

If you like traveling off the beaten path and don't mind roughing it a bit this place is absoluetely fantastic. A bit rustic but very clean and comfotable. No a/c but was very cool with just a fan which I had to turn off toward morning as it was a bit chilly. Shared bathroom. Owners were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Though breakfast was not included in the price, we were able to order an inexpensive breakfast to be deliver in the morning at 9 AM. Coffee and water was provided. The owner also shared travel tips for the area and even generously took us to the bus station when we were ready to leave. Fairly close to the Ferry Jetti and the bus station.

Two nights at His and My Rental”

I stayed for two nights in Satun, a nice city (or more like big town). It is a little bit rural but an easy 10 minute walk into town. I found the facilities awkward because you were staying in someone's house and wasn't sure what to use, and the show/toilet was quite far away in the basement and there were lots of mosquitos. Though he did give me some repellant on arrival. It was comfy and a good bed with good wifi. But a little deserted for a solo traveller as I was the only one there...

The Price, Cleanliness and Friendliness

This hotel is a little hard to find, if you turn right at the primary school and its the first junction to the right. We went in August, we were the only ones in the house. The owner is nice and helpful with getting around and finding food. About 8 km from ferry port to Lankawi, Malaysia and can take a tuk tuk from the 7-11 to get there for 40B.

Excellent and attentive service by owner personally, clean and comfortable place

we like the owner's very attentive and friendly services with a service mind attitude, as well as the cleanliness of the place. we find the resort wooden house quite unique, simple but practical under a very natural surrounding. we would highly recommend this place if one looks for good value for money plus excellent friendly services by the owner himself under a homestay atmosphere. we also received many useful advices from him about foods, what and whom to contact on a trip to the langkawi island, which had saved us both time and money there.
