"The resort is not finished. The spa is not yet open. The landscaping and exterior trim work are still being completed. Still my stay was nearly perfect. My deluxe room was spacious and modern. Attention to detail best describes the well-appointed and well-designed room. The staff was kind and attentive. The infinity pool is very nice. I ate most of my meals in the hotel restaurant, and I was pleased with the selection and quality of food. The hotel has bicycles that guests are allowed to use for free. Since I had previously decided to tour the historical park by bicycle, this was a nice amenity for me. I arranged a full day private tour of Si Satchanalai through the hotel. Booking the tour by email was quick and simple. The tour guide was prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He had a newer model, well-maintained SUV which made for a comfortable tour experience. Overall my experience was excellent. I did have one issue with the hotel. There are LOTS of mosquitoes. There are unfinished lotus ponds and fountains on the property. Also there are rice fields behind the property. This means lots of standing water for mosquitoes to breed. I hope the management will be proactive and spray regularly to control them."

"Great environment with trees and foliage providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has access to wat changlom at the back entrance. It has a small stream passing through it, which provides for opportunity to see some wildlife and adds to the character of the place. Sukhothai historical park is about 1km away. Bicycles are available at the park or can be hired locally. The swimming pool is warm as it gets the sun all day with no shade but is open till late. Enjoyed our 3 day stay with the staff providing great service. Breakfast was good with coconut hot cakes a favourite. We enjoyed the restaurant and food as we had a lunch after a morning visit to Sukhothai and 2 dinners. Massage was great best so far in Thailand. "

"Thai Thai is almost a 4 star accommodation - it has a very warm and attractive decor when you step into the bungalow. It's a 3 star but you can imagine it as a 4. But the price is what you would pay for a lower-end 2 star place, so it's excellent value for money. It's cozy inside - meaning comfortable but also snug, so if you have a lot of luggage and need to spread out, it's tight. But for the average traveler the space is sufficient. Location is excellent, breakfast is good, not excellent, but for a 2-star price it's great value, too. Staff are extremely helpful. Bike rental costs almost nothing, and it takes 1 minute to arrange a bike rental, which is the best way to tour the historical part of Sukothai."

"I was nervous when i booked this hotel for 800 bhat/night. then I saw an offer for 400bhat and I thought I had booked a cheap rubbishy place. but it turns out to be amazing. staff were delightful. even cleaners and kitchen staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The pool was lovely and clean, enough places to sunbathe and chill. The room was comfy and we couldn't hear any other guests. It felt really cosy and cheerful. The hotel is features lots of wood which in other hotels often feels old and grubby, but here it does not. It was lovely and clean. breakfast was delicious, and included little details like the honey was from a honey comb. We will be staying here again. So glad I stayed there. "

"Stayed here for two nights in January 2018 Pros: 1) This is a quite a well done property and the rooms have privacy, sit outs etc. 2) Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean 3) The tariff is very cheap 4) The place is very quiet and away from the bustle of the town. 5) The breakfast is great and is served early and on time. They make special vegetarian dishes if you inform them the previous evening. 6) They have a 12 hour laundry and the service is good. 7) WiFi connectivity is great and it is free. 8) Staff is extremely nice and courteous and speak decent English. Cons: 1) The location is a bit far from the main entrance. They rent out cycles and that is the best way to get to the entrance. It is not easy to find transport outside the hotel. 2) They don't serve lunch or dinner here. There are couple of good eating options in walkable distance. But if you want to more options, you have to cycle to the town centre."

"... location is great, easy access to the main road and to the historical site especially by bicycle which was provided by our gracious host at no extra cost. A very warm & hospitable warm welcome by our host and the family's dogs were welcoming and respectful. The bungalow was perfect for two, with a separate dining room and furnished kitchen should you wish to do some own cooking. It wasn't necessary as our host was an excellent cook and everything was deliciously made. Fully recommend to anyone who may be having second thoughts. Well worth it and I know where to come next time. "

"To stay at Sukhithai Chalet was My best experience during my 3 week thailand trip. The chalet is 5 minutes walking distance to sukhothai historical park so you can easily go to see sunrise and sunset. The host Mr Sewang is a warm-hearted shy man. He would not tolerate any ticket tout taking advantages on his guests. Free bikes and nice western breakfast is served. Sewang will give you tips on how to take the best photos in the park. Sewang has a very lovely family, two kids, 2 or 3 cats, 3 or 4 fighting cocks. You could watch some free traditional cock fighting gambling in the village introduced by Sewang. Call him first and ask him to arrange you a ride from the bus-stop to the chalet if you are not self-driving traveler."

"Pros: - We stayed in room 301 which is Chinese-themed and it was really beautiful, and very original (not tacky). - The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful and friendly and helped with a few minor issues we had. - You can rent bikes cheaply and explore the historical sites that way - we did this and it was a brilliant experience. The hotel is very close to the sites so you can linger until the sun sets (beautiful colours), and the ride is very very pleasant. - We tried the restaurant down the road but quickly fled it in favour of the hotel one, which is much much nicer (the other options, on the road to the historical park, were not very appealing either). They also have plenty of coffee-table books and magazines for you to browse while waiting for your food. - Breakfast was nice - especially since it had several Thai options which we didn't find anywhere else. Only con: - The food menu has virtually no vegetarian options, and the staff are not particularly helpful in that respect (for example, they didn't want to try making some of the curries with no meat, whereas almost all other restaurants in Thailand offered that spontaneously)"

"The bungalow was comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, lots of screened windows, a pleasant front porch, and a refrigerator for beverages. The guesthouse owner, Paolo, is very knowledgeable about the area and shared great strategies for visiting the historical park and surrounding ruins without encountering crowds. Because it was within walking distance of the historical park and nearby restaurants, it was a perfect base from which to explore Old Sukhothai. Easy access to bicycle and motorbike rentals. Wi-fi was fast and available everywhere on the property, from the breakfast area to the pool to the bungalows. Laundry was available on-site, as well. The mattress was a bit more firm than what we prefer, but that was a small matter in an otherwise comfortable bungalow. A perfect spot for relaxing, with beautiful gardens, an aviary of colorful birds, and a quiet environment."
