"The resort is not finished. The spa is not yet open. The landscaping and exterior trim work are still being completed. Still my stay was nearly perfect. My deluxe room was spacious and modern. Attention to detail best describes the well-appointed and well-designed room. The staff was kind and attentive. The infinity pool is very nice. I ate most of my meals in the hotel restaurant, and I was pleased with the selection and quality of food. The hotel has bicycles that guests are allowed to use for free. Since I had previously decided to tour the historical park by bicycle, this was a nice amenity for me. I arranged a full day private tour of Si Satchanalai through the hotel. Booking the tour by email was quick and simple. The tour guide was prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He had a newer model, well-maintained SUV which made for a comfortable tour experience. Overall my experience was excellent. I did have one issue with the hotel. There are LOTS of mosquitoes. There are unfinished lotus ponds and fountains on the property. Also there are rice fields behind the property. This means lots of standing water for mosquitoes to breed. I hope the management will be proactive and spray regularly to control them."

"The bungalow was comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, lots of screened windows, a pleasant front porch, and a refrigerator for beverages. The guesthouse owner, Paolo, is very knowledgeable about the area and shared great strategies for visiting the historical park and surrounding ruins without encountering crowds. Because it was within walking distance of the historical park and nearby restaurants, it was a perfect base from which to explore Old Sukhothai. Easy access to bicycle and motorbike rentals. Wi-fi was fast and available everywhere on the property, from the breakfast area to the pool to the bungalows. Laundry was available on-site, as well. The mattress was a bit more firm than what we prefer, but that was a small matter in an otherwise comfortable bungalow. A perfect spot for relaxing, with beautiful gardens, an aviary of colorful birds, and a quiet environment."

"Great environment with trees and foliage providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has access to wat changlom at the back entrance. It has a small stream passing through it, which provides for opportunity to see some wildlife and adds to the character of the place. Sukhothai historical park is about 1km away. Bicycles are available at the park or can be hired locally. The swimming pool is warm as it gets the sun all day with no shade but is open till late. Enjoyed our 3 day stay with the staff providing great service. Breakfast was good with coconut hot cakes a favourite. We enjoyed the restaurant and food as we had a lunch after a morning visit to Sukhothai and 2 dinners. Massage was great best so far in Thailand. "

"This is the 2nd time we book this hotel in past 2 months. Although the hotel is not right at the historic park center but it is less than 10 minutes bike ride to get there. You need the bike to see the park anyway. Hotel also provides bike rental, super convenient. This hotel is well maintained and beautiful. Staffs are extremely helpful and kind. We ran into an issue with my stay 2nd time. We booked 4 nights originally but my wife didn't feel well the day we supposed to check in. Hotel is kind enough to refund me 1st night. Thank you for the efforts from hotel Manager. This hotel has beautiful garden and pool. Rooms are clean and shower pressure is great. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"We arrived early after a 51/2hr bike ride and were expecting to just park up and go somewhere for a coffee, but the staff came out to meet us and said the room was ready so we could check in early. That really set the whole tone of our stay, the staff were friendly, helpful and informative about the historical park and the local area. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. After a morning exploring the historical park it was a welcome relief to be able to relax and cool off at the pool. The pool area was clean and well maintained, as was the pool, and there was never too many people there. Breakfast was an added bonus, the dinning area is comfortable and quite tranquil. The breakfast itself was delicious, everything was fresh and tasty, with a good selection, and a great start to the day. We loved everything about Thai Thai Sukhothai Guesthouse and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it."

"High value for price (got very good discount). Very friendly stuff, who speak English fluently. Nice and clean room, beautiful pool. Breakfast (7:00 am - 9:00 am) is expensive, so we did not book it, but bought food in Supermarkt nearby. There is a small fridge and water boiler (with coffee and tea) in the room. Could also order plates and cutlery from staff. There is no bar or anything to buy food or drinks in the hotel, but you can buy bottled drinks, instant meals and crisps at the reception. Located near the historic park, we rented bikes (very good ones with lights) and rode the bikes to the park, approx. 10 minutes A few expensive restaurants are quite near, the market and streetfood kitchens are just at the entrance to the historic park, so only 10 minutes by bike. Good internet connection"

"If you have come to Sukhothai to visit the historical park, then this is a great place. It is about 1 mile from the entrance. I suggest that you rent a bicycle during your stay. For me sunrise to 9 AM is the best time to see the park. I went to the park before breakfest and the crowds to take it all in and shoot photos. At 9 am as the buses arrive, I bicycle back to the hotel to enjoy breakfest. There is a nice restaurant across the street for dinner if you want a change from the onsite restaurant. To follow this agenda, you need to stay in the old town not the new town which is over 5 miles away. The staff are very nice and made me feel at home. As for the property, it is not the four seasons or even Le Meridien, but it is a beautiful property with reasonably nice rooms. One tip, when you are shown the room, make sure they show you how to control the air conditioner. For those of you who are old like me, the controller is about as complicated as programming you VCR!"

"Pros: - We stayed in room 301 which is Chinese-themed and it was really beautiful, and very original (not tacky). - The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful and friendly and helped with a few minor issues we had. - You can rent bikes cheaply and explore the historical sites that way - we did this and it was a brilliant experience. The hotel is very close to the sites so you can linger until the sun sets (beautiful colours), and the ride is very very pleasant. - We tried the restaurant down the road but quickly fled it in favour of the hotel one, which is much much nicer (the other options, on the road to the historical park, were not very appealing either). They also have plenty of coffee-table books and magazines for you to browse while waiting for your food. - Breakfast was nice - especially since it had several Thai options which we didn't find anywhere else. Only con: - The food menu has virtually no vegetarian options, and the staff are not particularly helpful in that respect (for example, they didn't want to try making some of the curries with no meat, whereas almost all other restaurants in Thailand offered that spontaneously)"
