Hotel staff was friendly and place was great for the price. We stayed one night and then staff guided us to ferry terminal on Hulhumale so we could take the ferry to Male to spend the day there before heading to another island.

Nice stay before departure”
Very nice and clean hotel. We arrived early and reception was very kind and checked in us before official time. Room was nice only bathroom had a very squeaky door which we later figured out how to close silently. Breakfast is good but always the same. Hotel is very close to bus stop which go to the airport. A very big plus to hotel for feeding homeless cats! Especially the white cat who always come to hotel! Thank you for nice stay!

Our flight departures at 10AM so we decide to stay our last night near the airport in Hulhumale. The staff wasn't really nice with us.. They only provide a big towel even a small towel for our hands, also they don't have beach towels and snorkel gear. We went to other hotel to eat lunch and dinner because they were more helpful and nice than HM Retreat. We'll not repeat again!

All Good, Bad router”
People are nice. Breakfast is ok. Unfortunately wifi (using extenders on each floor) doesn't always work in the room so i have to stay in the ground floor to use wifi. Maybe their router/extenders cannot accomodate many guests. I also paid 20USD for transfer from/to airport

Best cheap hotel”
The staff were very friendly, helpful and soft spoken. They even arranged all my booking to hotel at maafushi island without any extra charge. The room was nice and clean. Its totally worth the money

very friendly staff, room clean and comfort”
friendly staf with smilling always, hotel is new,, its very clean... nice room... but no slipper in the room, no hairdryer, no coffe/tea maker they dont have toiletries kit, like a toothbrush, lotion, ect. no telephone at the room so i can't call the reception if i need something,, i should go down, breakfast was simple... hotel near to the beach. staff 24.. excelent!!

Transit stay”
We reached Male late at night, so we decided to stay overnight at Hulumale for a night then transfer to other island the next day. The hotel is just good to stay for a night. I can smell fish smell when I was taking shower. The room is quite small but just good for a one night stay. The staff is quite friendly and helpful.

Poor quality, low comfort”
This is a relatively new hotel, but seemingly built with Chinese materials of the lowest quality: Bathroom screeches when sliding, shelf over the sink has come loose from its fittings and is hanging at an 45° angle, windows are dirty, and the room itself had an intense smell of cigarette smoke. (The staff claimed to not have any non-smoking rooms available, despite only a few other rooms in the building appeared to be occupied.) Total rip-off.

Pro: helpful receiptionist Con: no curtain/blind at toilet's window while there is construction beside.i can see the workers clearly and i wonder if the worker can see me. No lift;stairs is steep and i would like to say it is non-ergo friendly.

Hotel a 10 minutos del aeropuerto”
Habitación limpia, traslado al aeropuerto por 10$. No hay ascensor y en ocasiones el personal brilla por su ausencia.

広さ嘘。情報不足”
マレのホテルはみな部屋が狭いなと感じながらこのホテルだけは３０平米以上の表示でした。娘の新婚旅行にくっついて４人でモルジブに向かうための前泊でした。部屋までは階段。重いスーツケースをもって上がりました。期待していた部屋は２０平米行くか行かないか狭さに驚き。表示は完ぺきに嘘です。朝は５時出発といわれ準備をしてロビーに行くと真っ暗。行の時の送迎であった運転手さんがロビーのソファーで寝ていました。その後運転手さんはいなくなり何やらロビーの横のシャワーのの音が鳴りだしました。お目覚めシャワーの様子。出てきて早くいきたいと話したところフロントがいないからいけないというのです。まだ真っ暗のまま。６時に水上飛行機が出発と聞いていたのでだんだん焦ってきました。運転手はフロントに連絡が取れないと言い張り、でも交渉しやむなく運転手はフロントの確認なしに出発した。送迎費は前日に支払い済みだったので運転手はお金をもらいたかったようだ。マレの空港でチェックインし手続きを終えると水上飛行機の発着口にいき結局１番飛行機には間に合わず乗れたのは７時１５分発。かなり待たされました。５時にホテル出発といわれたのにこのような状態でした。最後フロントなスタッフには会えず帰ってきました。夜もビールぐらいはホテルにあるかと思ったが何もなく飲み物食べ物どこにも売ってないとのこと。空港で買ってくればよかったと思いました。朝食も選べるように書いてあったけれどまったくそのような準備はありませんでした。ホテル紹介の中の虚偽、情報不足は気を付けてほしい。部屋の広さでいつもホテルを選ぶので重要です。
