Basic but good staying”
The hotel is really basic. No decorations, no particularly nice views, no matching sheets, no fridge in the rooms... But still, there is everything you need when travelling: beds, bathrooms, breakfast... The rooms were clean, as well as the shared bathroom and we got our towels and soaps. The best parts of the hotel are surely the location in downtown Yangon and a great staff. A particular merit goes to Lenso (I actually don't know how to write his name) and his precious maps of Yangon. Ask the staff for anything and they will surely help you. We actually had a great staying at the Hninn Si Budget Inn.

Great, affordable acommodation in Yangon city”
Our stay, although brief, was enjoyable. Having travelled for nearly 24 hours, we were welcomed at Yangon airport by a pre-arranged taxi from Hninn Si. Once we arrived at the hotel, the staff were quick to check us in, and offer information about buses, things to see/do and advised us of breakfast. Our room was large (accommodated all four of us), though the bathrooms are unisex, and shared per floor. Showers and toilets were clean, and none of us had any issues with the bathroom situation. Room was basic, but clean. The staff helped us arrange our bus to Bagan, and brought us complimentary water and salad in our room! Would definitely recommend Hninn Si Budget Inn to anyone who is wanting to visit Yangon on a budget.

large room and clean shared bathroom”
We stayed 2 nights in Hninn Si Budget Inn. It s located close to many attraction. Staff are helpful and tentative, although their English skill might be a bit weak. Breakfast is good with eggs made to order. The share bathroom and shower is clean. Our room was big and with AC and plenty of plugs, but the window was blocked but it didn't matter because we were just there to sleep.

All around excellence in service”
This is your entry point into the mysteries of Myanmar. Both the owner and his daughter Kai are 100% fluent in English, ready to address all questions and concerns regarding your plans/planning for your journey. I will stay here again in future journeys and wholeheartedly recommend the Hninn Si to anyone who is curious.

Budget but convenient location”
We stayed in this hotel at the start and end of our recent trip to Myanmar. The hotel is well located to visit the sites of Yangon. It is a budget inn and you do get what you pay for but the rooms and shared bathroom are clean and constantly kept clean by the hotels staff. The owners English is excellent (she is married to an American I believe) and will happily book buses, order taxis and give advice about travelling around Yangon and Myanmar. The English of other members of staff was lower but they are still very keen to help and support. Had to pay an airport transfer fee as apart of our booking on our last stay (we hadn't had to pay it the first time we stayed there) which was well above what an actual taxi would have been. Breakfast is pleasant but basic and served in the mobile phone shop downstairs!

Great Value for Money!”
It was really great stay at Hninn Si. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful in attending my needs. The room is basic with just beds and coffee table, but it is clean and the bed is comfortable enough. Shared bathroom area is also clean with shower rooms and toilet rooms are separate. In terms of distance, it is relatively walkable distance to Sule Paya and Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market). Otherwise, you can always opt to catch taxi ride.

OK but wouldnt go back here again”
If u just need a clean bed to sleep on...this is the place for you. They have clean shared toilets and bath. A room without tv but aircon unit is quite new. It's a repainted Yangon shophouse located in a main avenue leading to a famous temple. There are many small local restaurants beside it and even a small 24 hour grocer shop. They serve breakfast from 6:30-10:30 after that the 1st floor becomes a phone accessories store. Hninn Si is the Myanmar name for "Rose" so it's Rose budget inn . There are only 14 small rooms in all the 4 floors. Each room contains 2 single or 3 single beds. To go up to the 3rd and 4th flr u have to climb steep stairs painted in blue. The reception is in the 2nd floor manned by young men who spoke decent English . They arranged my tour with a guy who worked in Singapore for over 10 yrs and thus spoke good English and has very good background of Myanmar history. If u are on a budget, a backpacker or an adventurer I can recommend this place for you.

Clean comfortable backpackers hostel/hotel”
Although out of the way somewhat up by 50th street and well away from Sule Paya the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff very attentive and helpful and they always seem to be around. If you are looking somewhere cheap/clean to stay for a day or two this place is perfect. Staying in Yangon for sightseeing I would recommend something closer to center of downtown such as Cherry guesthouse which is affordable and close to downtown.

friendly staff”
A problem free stay and well priced for a Yangon hotel. As we were a family of four getting a large enough room for us all was quite difficult but the Hninn budget inn was able to help us with that regard.

Good option!”
Our room was very simple but very clean. It's close to the center with many restaurants options around and the staff are very helpful, we had a bus early in the morning and they made us breakfast anyways. I'm going back to yangon at the end of the month and i will go back to this hostel.

Clean budget hotel”
Our stay at Hninn Si Budget Inn was very nice. This is a budget hotel so it is by no means fancy, but we found the rooms to be clean and quiet. The best part about this hotel is the amazing staff! We arrived very early (around 6am) via overnight bus from Bagan, and even though check-in time is not until the afternoon, the staff were happy to check us in early so we could sleep. Michael was particularly helpful and friendly.

Clean room budget Inn with 5 Stars service”
This is a great place home away from home, So homely and clean. Basic room with great air condition and excellent Internet connection. I stayed here twice, once in February and now. I liked it because of the cleanness and friendly staffs. My large double room was a good size room with two windows, one small window was cover up with a painting, another window was big but I decided not to open as another wall was blocking. the staff change my bed sheets every day for me, the rooms were basic, two single beds, new remote air condition, drying rack, trash bin and a small table. The room is very bright, good lighting. Its a share clean bathroom, it's okay with me as long as it is clean I wouldn't mine share bathroom. They even provide me unlimited complimentary bottle water for drinking. I had an early flight to catch and had to leave at 5:30 am and they provided me breakfast which were toast, eggs, plain cake, banana and coffee. Very helpful and attentive staffs, especially Mike who gave great recommendations to places of interest and beyond. English is limited in breakfast area, but very helpful. There were lots of eateries close by, well this is my second return stay at this Inn and I would definitely recommend anyone who are looking for clean accommodation. My suggest to all- all accommodations in Myanmar is expensive, you can't compare with other Countries, so book ahead to avoid hunting for a place to stay while you are on holiday.

Good budget option”
The price of this hotel was great compared to others in Yangon. It is certainly nothing fancy but good for the price. Breakfast was a bit basic, but I had been staying in places that cost a bit more so may not be a fair comparison. It was within walking distance of everything I wanted to see, but then, I walk very long distances. If you don't then you should look for something closer to Sule Pagoda. The place was very clean and there were a number of mini marts close by for snacks and drinks.

Very nice and affordable stay; super nice staff”
Very good stay for a couple of days. We had two people but got a spacious 3 bed room which was great. You may be a bit wary from looking at the exterior of the hotel but the inside is clean and well functioning. Basically, just what we needed for a two night stay in Yangon. Best part of the hotel are the staff and the free breakfast. The staff is especially nice and friendly, and Mike the proprietor is very warm and welcoming. I had an issue with a taxi driver the first day I got there, and he went out of his way to solve my problem. Definitely stay at this hotel if you're looking for great value in Yangon.

very good location at Yangon city ”
The room was good with air conditioning. Shared bathroom with hot shower. The Manager, Mr. Micheal was very helpful to arrange airport pick up, transportation for Yangon and Golden Rock tour with reasonable price. He booked an air conditioned mini bus (van) for 9 of us in 11 seater, the van was good, clean and comfortable. The driver named Soh (nick name) also very friendly and helpful with a little bit mandarin speaking. Highly recommended to deal with them!!!

reasonable price;need to improve water problem”
1.fast check-in and check-out. i arrived Yangon in the midnight, but the staff is still kind and efficient. 2.there was not black out at night, but they need to improve water problem. the water pressure is very low, and there is no rack or something that i can put my shampoo in the shower room (or should i just call it a shower PLACE in stead of ROOM) 3.regarding to the staff, they are warm and nice.

Clean basic budget hotel”
We arrived quite early, but could go to our room immediately. As we spent the night before sleeping in Don Muang, it was good to have a siesta. The day after we walked around in Yangon. When we got back, we were offered clean towels for shower. Airport transfer: We also did not agreed on it, I only sent an e-mail for enquiry but they never replied. When I stepped out the airport, I was surprised that someone was waiting for me. Oh, well. Bathroom: shared, but as others say, clean, with hot water, sufficient water pressure. Rooms are windowless, hard twin beds. Very basic. So is the complimentary breakfast. Internet access is fairly good. It is indeed a bit far from the city center (20-30mins walk), and the roads in between are not that interesting / pleasant, but taxis are cheap. It is next to Ocean Pearl Inn. Overall a definitely recommend in the budget category.

AMAZING STAFF! SIMPLY AMAZING STAFF”
The staff was amazing! One of my favorite in all of my travels. The owner works at the front desk when he is in the country, he speaks perfect English, is very nice, super accommodating, honest and full of useful information. THIS HOTEL HAS A SHARED BATHROOM for everyone on the floor. However, the worker boys are constantly cleaning it, every hour, therefore it is spotless. Also, the toilets are in their rooms and each shower has it's own room too. It is definitely the most comfortable shared bathroom that I have ever used. It putts colleges in the USA to shame. The worker boys literally RAN outside and carried all our bags up the stairs and into our room upon our arrival. It was both a surprising and awesome gesture. The location is with walking distance to almost all of the city. You can take a taxi to anywhere around the main downtown area for about 1-3 usd depending on how many passengers there are, and the distance. Just south of the hotel at the next intersection is some amazing street food, that I would recommend for dinner at least once. It cost $1. The rooms all had A/C. However, most of the city loses electric power for 1-2 hours every day, and internet is a new thing (previous government didn't allow it), so expect slow internet connections. Also, Myanmar is pretty far off the normal backpacker and tourist map, so there will be hardly any tourists. I found the local people to be super nice, the shops not constantly pressuring me to make a sale, and I felt 100% SAFE the entire time while in Myanmar!

Basic, conveniently located hostel”
Our stay was nice. Although, as everywhere in Myanmar, the price level was way too high for an establishment of this quality. It was a basic room, clean, but nothing fancy, and should cost no more then similar ones in Lao or Thailand - but cost way more. But well, that's MYanmar reality. If you're on a budget it's on of the cheapest options in Yangon. So go for it if you don't require luxury. Nice bars and restaurats aruond, walking distance to core of the center, taxis everywhere.
