Stayed at This place more than 3 time but when the 1 st floor have meeting event ,the hotel meeting room was not provided any sound protection and this check in Wi-Fi gone bad

i find hoa bin hotel a good simple hotel for its class. a little bit expensive but rooms, services and location are good. hotel staff are also very helpful in arranging tours and taxis. i would recommend it for those visiting hanoi looking for a modest accommodation near the common conference venues like melia. there are also good restaurants and shops nearby.

Excellent value for money”
A room for two was not expensive and this was excellent value for money. The room was quite large with heavy lacquered colonial furniture. A big wardrobe with lots of hangers, but it could have done with some shelves for clothes. Bathroom OK with a bath as well as a shower attachment, and lots of shampoos etc.(even combs and toothbrushes), but only one large towel and a wash cloth each - no hand towels. Electric kettle and cups for tea (although they were a little irregular about replacing the used teabags, so we ended up buying ourselves a box of teabags). Well stocked breakfast buffet with a choice of European or Asian style, but finished at 9 am. Very friendly and helpful staff, and efficient laundry service. Although the dining room wasn't terribly elegant or high quality, it was conveniently open in the evening, as other eating places in the area seemed to close very early, and it was difficult to find anything to eat after 10 pm. We were able to get an inexpensive meal at about 11 pm, when we'd despaired of finding anything else.

Hoa Binh Hotel - Deluxe & Suite rooms”
Hotel desk quoted us $US18 to get to airport. Didn't not tell us about the cheaper options until we asked for them - airport taxi is only $US 15 to airport. I would probably stay elsewhere next time, somewhere newer for the same price that we paid for the Executive suite.

Placed in a perfect position you can enjoy from here the heart of Hanoi skipping most of the noise. Charming building and impeccable service, good food and reasonable prices. Standard rooms are cosy but tiny.

It is old type Hotel,Room is quite large and Breakfast OK. They asked the agoda reservation voucher printed out,not accept mobile data. So I have to prepre by myaself at the front desk PC. Little bit confused.

This is my first negative review in over two months of travelling and lots of nights in hotels. Recepionists treat you like something off the bottom of their shoe (cleaner and bell hop were really friendly!) location is good but for a £36 a night room in Southeast Asia i’d Expect a bigger bed, an up to date air con system that didn’t make so much noise, and a manky bathroom. Really not worth staying here unless your desperate and like being disappointed.

this hotel was shockingly overpriced. loud construction started at 5:45 each morning, breakfast was awful, staff seemed not to care about guest comfort. A shame as is a beautiful old colonial building.
