Great hotel staff - terrible restaurant staff
Hotel is avarage, good bed, ac, hot water, internet... all you need. Staff is very helpful... except the restaurant staff... they have no standards (I dont think they are Vietnamese, they are Chinese)... bad food, you have to wait for the employees to finish eating and you are on the bottom of the list.

Very good
Nice hotel a little out of the way. It's situated on the main route to Pleiku and Kon Tum, going north and south and it's about 10km north of Pleiku. The staff very quiet don't speak much English but they speak more English than I do speak Vietnamese. Breakfast is included but don't get too excited, it just feels your belly and that's all you will remember about it. Rooms clean, big underground car park. A very quiet place just right for those who are traveling and need a rest.

Above average
They asked me to move because it would get loud on that floor. Embed up woth half the space, which doesn't really matter to me. They Booked a bus for Cambodia for me, pickup @7. 630 I'm told while eating breakfast that my ride was here. The ride was on a motorbike. They didn't have a Helmut and I was almost falling of the entire 15 minute ride because I had to have my luggage between myself and the driver. Scared the whole trip. Also not sure why at 7am they allow full on karaoke to be done when the whole hotel can hear it.

I enjoyed my stay
I chose this hotel because I wanted to be near the area when I served in Vietnam 50 years ago, and for the proximity to Lake Bien Ho. It is about 6 km north of the city and 3 km from the airport. I preface my comments on expensive travels throughout Asia. For a small city in a rural, non-tourist area, this hotel is very good. Excellent clean room and nice view of the surrounding hills. Restaurant isn't fancy, but it is very good. There are no western items on the menu. Staff has enough English to check you in and out, and get you a taxi, but that's all. Biggest objection, no tea pot in the room, and hot water for shower is barely warm. Taxi to the city costs about $5.00 usd. I enjoyed my stay.

Value for money
If like me you are travelling by motor bike, there is safe and secure underground parking. The rooms are large and light with decent views. It is however a long way out of town, so I recommend dining in the rather uninspiring adjacent hotel owned restaurant. The food is OK and modestly priced. The beer is cold !

A Big Scam
Stayed here for one night travelling through Vietnam. Once we arrived they had no record on my booking on their system and seemed confused to see customers actually here. The guy at reception was playing computer games when we got there. Arrived fairly late and had read there was a pool, spa and sauna. After we tried looking for it we bumped into one of the workers who could have been anyone dressed in casual clothing took us down to the basement where he unlocked a room and took us into a "spa" which looked like it hadn't seen action in about 10 years. The so called pool was a large hot tub which was half empty with cockroaches floating in the water which was left. Cigarette butts lay around on the floor and rest of the area looked like a scene from a horror movie. The guy who let us in was nice enough and we had a awkward go in the sauna while he waited for us. Once we were done after about 20 minutes he shut off all the lights and locked up the room once more. We all got in the lift and he stopped on his floor to let in another woman with poor English. She began to explain how we each needed to pay 50000 dong for the use of the horrible spa, which no one had bothered to mention before we entered. Assuming this would certainly be part of the hotel fee we refused to pay. She continue to nag and bargain with us to pay for something we had never been told of paying. In the morning we were given a free breakfast but of course that doesn't include coffee should have remembered nothing in Vietnam is ever free. The whole experience was strange and bizarre and get like everyone was out to sting us for more cash. The room wasn't that bad but the hotel and mentality of the staff were very dissapoiting. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.

The kind of service you could expect
Location is too far from town. When we check in, there was noisy karaoke and party. Service is average.
