This 4-star beach resort has long been proud of its idyllic setting and gracious hospitality. Situated in Hoi An, the Vietnamese World Cultural Heritage Site famous for its long-standing architectural complex, the property is between the romantic De Vong River and the locally famous Cua Dai Beach. Other nearby attractions include the historic Hoi An Town, the My Son monastery complex, or the Cham Museum in Danang which is just a short trip from the resort. On the hotel premises, there are luxurious Vietnamese-styled houses and villa rooms, all of which are bright, spacious, comfortably-furnished, and well-equipped. An ideal place for holding meetings, the resort has qualified staff and modern equipment to facilitate organizers. For leisure travelers, nothing is more enchanting than savoring traditional Vietnamese cuisine on the resort’s restaurant balcony. Besides the superb cuisine, visitors will be serenaded with traditional music by the local performers. Recognized by travelers worldwide as an oasis of peace where the river meets the ocean, the Hoi An Beach Resort will surely make visitors stay an extra day.

I stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. They made the stay so special, all staff were lovely and friendly, the 2 pools were beautiful along with the restaurant looking over the river. We really enjoyed our stay and will deffinately visit again Thank you
All of the Potential ”
Hoi An Beach resort has all of the potential to be an extremely nice resort. The facilities are great, with two pools and restaurants, multiple bars, a fitness center, and average rooms. The beach across the road seemed great, however it was "closed due to winter". They did have a shuttle to take us to a nearby beach. The room was fine, with 3 single beds and a balcony with a "garden view" (which was really just a view of some trees separating our room from the neighboring property). Our room was a few rooms away from the road - however the road noise was fairly audible in the room throughout the night. The staff were friendly and mostly attentive, however it did seem that there was a more relaxed attitude due to it being the off season. Overall it was a good stay and I would like to see it in the busier months when the beach is open.
Beautiful beach location”
Only filled 3 nights here and 2 in DaNang but wish we'd done 5 nights here. Lovely beach location away from the hustle of Hoi An. River on one side and beach on the other. Lovely big room overlooking the river. Fantastic buffet breakfast with endless options. Free shuttle from the resort into Hoi An. Free tai chi class on Monday and Friday on the beach. Private beach access. Will definitely return.
Beach retreat not far from old town”
Loved staying at the Hoi An Beach Resort. It was extremely hot during our stay so to have access to the beach was a huge bonus. Regularly shuttle bus takes you to the Old Town in 10 min. We stayed in River View suite and loved the peace of waking up to the tranquil view each morning. Would stay again
Disappointed at first as they gave us a room on the 3rd floor at the end of the wing which was dark and inconvenient. After paying extra $ for upgrading to a 1st floor and beside swimming pool room, it was perfect. Good location with few steps to the beach or few minutes walk to local restaurants nearby. Old facilities but acceptable. Very nice restaurant and great pool by the river. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend room #118 :)
good place, decent staff and well kept”
We were a family of 6 who went there and booked two rooms. The stay was comfortable, the staff was nice and mostly tried to help with our needs. We asked for late check out since we had evening flight and they allowed to accomodate us in one of the rooms for late CO which was very helpful. Pools are clean, kids pool is nice, as well as play room has some balls and toys (not as much as we have seen elsewhere but decent). Location is really great since near the beach and the 2hrly shuttle to Hoi An village makes up for everything. Only drawback of the location is that we found the restaurants outside the hotel bit mediocre but that is a personal choice. In hotel restaurant is quite nice.
Lovely boutique hotel opposite eroded section of beach”
Major highlight was the infinity edge pool overlooking the river (especially at sunset). Bed was very comfortable with high quality linens. Definitely get a room overlooking the river as beachside is actually roadside (noisy). Loved having the free hotel bus service to Hoi An old town which ran on time and took about 10 minutes. Be warned that the beach has experienced considerable erosion and now features large sandbags all along this part of the coast. Instead, rent bikes from the hotel and either go 3km to An Bang Beach (quite busy) or the other direction to the small beach next to Victoria Hotel. There is quite a lot of traffic noise, mostly from honking scooters. Breakfast is passable but not many western breakfast items (pancakes were good). We appreciated the size of the hotel most ... not ideal for huge tour groups so guests are typically couples or small families.
Great value of expenses”
Beautiful garden and river view. Ideal location where you can visit Hoian and Danang easy. Furnitures are little bit worn out but I like antique style and double bed were very comfortable and clean. Great value for family trip.
Our room was very tired but I noticed the resort have some kind of refurb going on. We were there for 3 nights, breakfast was nice and the view of the river was nice too. Staff were not as friendly as other places we stayed but the check in staff member was very informative.
Riverview Rooms, much better than ocean view”
5 nights at this hotel was comfortable. Glad we booked the Riverview rooms, much more scenic. The hotel is a bit tired in places, the staff always helpful. F&B, mediocre. it's quite far from the old town, but they put on free shuttle service which was nice. The daily complimentary 30 mins massage service at their spa is a nice bonus for guests.
Great value ”
In India this property would be labeled 5 star. There's nothing amiss here. Excellent, spick and span rooms with all the usual bells and whistles and of top quality. The resort, not very big, is well spread out to give a feel of expanse and room. It's by the river so there are rooms with a river view. Ours wasn't but that's ok because the ground floor rooms open to their own little sit-outs in the garden. The beach is literally across the road from the property. They keep deck chairs and there's a bar that doesn't function when it's raining. There are two pools with bars, both in excellent condition. We were looking for a beach resort that had everything and was easy on the pocket. This fit the bill perfectly.
Well sized resort, very large rooms, beautiful view over the river. The restaurant and buffet could have better choice
Excellent location 4 km from Ancient Town”
4 kms from Ancient Town, this beach front property with private beach, 2 swimming pools, excellent food and unparalleled service. Free Shuttle bus to ancient town till 10.30 pm is the added advantage. Highly recommended.
My husband and I have been to Hoi An a few times. This was the first time we stayed right at the beach. I think we prefer to stay a little closer to the city center, but within a few blocks of the beach. This is because the beach near the city center is protected from the wind and the waves a bit more so it has not deteriorated as much. That being said, Hoi An Beach Resort is nice. They have 2 pools, nice rooms and great staff. The restaurant is nice but offers only western cuisine. I don't believe I saw any Asian food on the menu. They also do not have a sea view. Even if they did, it's not the nicest beach to look at. They do have a very great river view. We reserved the sea view and were put in a room with windows that only looked out over the river. It was fine so we didn't not say anything. Finally, the hotel offers a shuttle to town that comes an goes at specific times. Taxi's are not expensive if you prefer to go on your own. We even walked the 5.5 km to town 1 day and though it was hot, it was fine.
Wow is allmi can say. I was trekking borth to south through viet nam in may this year and decided to treat myself when i saw the sale on agoda i think it was 40% off and man did the place deliver. The room was bigger and better fitted out than my appartment back in sydney, tne staff were amazing food was great yhe feee shuttle is good but best of all was my cooking class i did with the chef. I was the only person so i got a private tour of the markets and had the hotels kitchen to outselves. I had the best time here.
Thoughourly enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately i was traveling alone so some of the romance of this resort was wasted on me. This would be a great place for a couple to unwind in a great quiet location. The grounds, pools, rooms are wonderfull, and the breakfasts are some of the best anywhere. Highly reccomened
Good price and beautiful location”
Staff offers good services and helpful, will come again next time. warm reminder: if you want to book the vehicle or mini bus, better via hotel not necessary to bargan with the taxi drivers drirectily, the fee is cheaper than taxi.
My stay at Hoi An Beach Resort was nice but there are a few things i must say to alert future clients. There is no beach in the hotel, there is a beach just for sightseeing, not to swim, although for us it was the same because we prefer to explore, like we did in the bicycles we rented at the resort. There is an amazing and peaceful beach just 3 km distance and by bicycle its a wonderful way to inhale Hoi An in the morning. Here you`ll find plenty of places to eat. The staff in the hotel are very dedicated and helpful. The rooms are very good and the resort itself has very good conditions. It has two pools, a spa, a kids center, kayaks to rent. Nice breakfast by the river with a beautiful view. I will probably go back to this hotel.
Beach Resort without the beach”
It was very relaxing. Too bad a hurricane blew away the entire famous beach, two years ago. At low tide only 5 meters left. There are some nice restaurants at walking distance, and a short bike- or taxi-ride takes you to the pretty little old town of Hoi An. Centuries old, a great town for a stroll amongst the temples, the old bridge, and now a haven for shoppers for clothes, leather goods and souvenirs. and for people looking for a nice cafe or restaurant. It's little Bali but much much much more cultured and tasteful. Who wants to do some snorkeling must prepare for a communist style of travel: tight schedule, rushing in big groups across Cham Island, chopchopchop on the boat, off the boat, but nevertheless a very nice experience.
Nice comfortable resort”
Stayed 3 nights in Hoi An Beach Resort in Oct. The hotel is by Cu Dai Beach, which is about 4km from Hoi An Ancient Town. The resort have its own private beach, but it was under renovation during my stay, which is a bit of a of a disappoint. Getting to old town though is not an issue as there is a scheduled free shuttle bus service back and fro from the old town. Do keep a schedule with you as there is no indication of timing in the waiting area at the bus stops. The hotel itself is fully equipped. Have 2 swimming pools, spa and gym. Special mention is given to the restaurant, which overlook the Thu Bon river. One can spend hours relaxing in the resturant watching fisherman fishing in the river on ducks swimming around lazily. The shrimp wanton is a must try. As the resort is quite huge, do ask for a buggy to help with the luggage. The room is fully equipped with free wifi, cable TV (bad signal though), air-con, hotel shower and all the necessary amenities. The room is also very large, more than enough space to sleep 3 person comfortably. As for the staff, not overly friendly but manage to do their work professionally. For the price I paid, quite worth it overall.
