relaxing”
A very good stay was had at The Botanic Garden. The breakfasts were enjoyable, The staff were all very plesant. One staff member named Kitty was fun. Always made me laugh. The owner who I think was named was Fung was without doubt one of the hardest working people I think that I have ever met. He worked tirelessly to maintain the gardens and to have the generator working after we suffered damage after Typhoon Nari swept through the whole of Hoi An on one of the nights I was there. He always had a smile for everyone. It would be hard to give this place a bad review. In vietnamese standards, this Accommodation was above par, the pool is small but, adequate for a quick dip in the afternoon heat . In returning to Hoi An, on another trip, then I would look to book The Botanic Gardens Home Stay Again, as my first choice.

Friendly service, great place to stay!”
the botanic garden homestay is a delight. it's 2km from hoi an town, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your inclination, but it's in a quiet residential neighbourhood lane. bungalows are huge - each has 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, airconditioning, tv, hall and small kitchenette. the homestay offers full laundry service and lets guests use bicycles for free to pedal into town - definitely very local. all bungalows are located inside the house compound, and the family tends to the lush garden with many bonsai plants. there's even a small pool for soaking in! the best thing is the friendliness of the staff - they gave us tips on where to go, what to eat, arranged our trips, and it made a great difference to our stay. we came to look on it not only as a hotel, but a second home in hoi an. definitely recommended.

Quaint home with beautiful garden and lovely staff”
We booked our stay at Botanic garden homestay for 4 nights, and upon leaving, wish we had booked to stay longer! Not only is Hoi An a beautiful town full of fascinating architecture and surroundings, but our stay at Botanic Gardens made it all the better. The staff were always smiling and more than happy to offer help with any requests, or just even to have a conversation! Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated, however my partner and i noticed the bed was a little hard and the shower head was very low down, meaning you had to hold it to wash yourself. These were the only cons we could think of. Breakfast was very tasty, and numerous times they heeded my request for 2nds! Location was about 2km from the heart of town, but with the free bikes, this wasnt an issue. All-in-all, i wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

Nice hotel and service with a smice, BIG ROOMS !!!”
During my trip thrue South-East Asia this Botanic Garden Hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam is my favorite. Very, very nice bungalows, fully equiped. Very, very friendly people (family owned and family runned) For everybody is a bicycle available. Owner can pick you up and drop you off at Danang International Airport (45 min. by car) Hoi An is a great city to stay for a couple of days and Hoi An is like day and night differened with cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi or Danang. Great clean sandy ocean beach nearby.

Lovely spot with a great atmosphere & nice staff”
I chose Botanic Garden Homestay as the reviews on Agoda were so good. I was initially unsure as the guesthouse is approximately 3km from the centre of Hoi An. We were provided bicycles with lights free of charge. We are also given accurate advise about the best tailors and places to visit. The staff were great and on one evening they laid on a lovely meal outside for all the guests. I would recommend this place and if I return to Hoi An I would certainly stay here again.

An oasis to escape to.”
we were so lucky to have chosen botanic garden homestay. on arrival we were taken through the gorgeous garden to our 'villa' by the pool. the villa consisted of a sitting area, 2 ensuite bedroom and a kitchen dining area. decorated to a high standard it took our breath away. with only 4 villas available it was very peaceful and romatically private. the family are lovely and could not do enough to make our stay a special one. we were even given free bicycles to explore the area. large choice for breakfast both western and vietnamese. we stayed for an extra 2 nights and truly did not want to leave. without a doubt the best accomodation on our travels.

Peaceful with personal service”
we loved our stay at the botanic garden home stay. it was lovely to have our own terrace to sit on amongst the beautiful garden. we enjoyed both walking and cycling (complimentary bike hire) into hoi an township, as well as biking to the beach. a morning by the pool at bgh was equally as enjoyable. everyone was very friendly, thoughtful and helpful and we would wholeheartededly recommend this place. both of us agree that we would stay here again.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Hoi An”
I can't say enough good things about this place. It's simply a lovely little paradise in a wonderful place. I ended up staying a week here after the fast pace of Hanoi. The garden is lovely, the pool immaculate, the family who own it go out of their way to help and the breakfast is very nice, made to order. In the generously sized room the bed was decorated with swans made out of towels sprinkled with real flower petals. The seating area has a lovely tea set and an electric hot water pot. The bed is a bit hard (Asian style) but I slept well every single night. Laundry is cheap and so is the mini bar in the refrigerator. It's only a 15 minute walk to the enchanting Ancient city and to the beach in the other direction. You can borrow one of their bikes if you choose. There are only 2 minor drawbacks: the bikes are very wobbly and if you haven't ridden in awhile you may want to practice first rather than ending up rolling down an embankment like I did. ( nothing hurt but my ego) Taxi drivers have a hard time finding this place even when you show them the address and a map. Otherwise, you will fall in love with Botanic Garden Homestay. I did.

Lovely place and excellent location”
We stayed 3 nights at Botanical Garden Hoi An. The hotel is conveniently located between the beach and Hoi An old quarter. An easy ride to both locations. Relaxing and quiet place. We had heard some comments about barking dogs at night but we didn't hear anything. Staff is adorable and helpful.

Nice little hotel, in a non tourist location”
I definitely recommend Bontanic Homestay to other travellers. Nice small more hotel like Homestay with only a few rooms. Fantastic little garden with a small pool. Rooms are excellent and big and with a fantastic view out over the garden. I was very surprised about this great place, definitely good value for money! The location is a bit off the city centre but you can use the Botanics bikes free of charge and it takes 10 easy minutes in to the heart of Hoi An. I would say I preferred to stay outside the more touristic city centre, in this way you also see the real daily life of the people living there. Nearby is a restaurant called Red Dragon or something similar. It does not look to nice from the outside but the food was great if you want to have something nearby.

Most Friendly Staff”
We traveled in Vietnam for 3 weeks and everywhere the Vietnamese hospitality was excellent. But Botanic Garden Homestay was the best. They truly think of everything. Refrigerator is stocked and all items are very reasonably priced, the bicycles are free. The desk staff is very warm and helpful. We stayed in a free-standing, 2 bedroom cabana and it was perfect. Traditional decor and certainly not modern but all of the conveniences are there. Very clean and well maintained.

Amazing place to stay!”
Our stay here was reallyeaceful and relaxing. We had a Deluxe room that faced the pool. There are very few rooms at this homestay so it is quiet and easy to relax. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are extremely kind and helpful people. There is a free bicycle rental service offered and we rode to the beach - which was the most beautiful beach we've ever seen. The bike ride to the beach from Botanic Gardens is about 10 minutes long and is very scenic and charming. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay here!

Best place to stay in Hoi An great value for money”
This is a gem of a place to stay in Hoi An, located between the Ancient Town and the beach gives you easy access to both. Hire a moped if you are there for any length of time. For the price you pay you get a nice little chalet with a kitchen, two bedrooms, lounge and two bathrooms. Couldn't ask for any more. The staff are very helpful and can sort anything out for you re onward travel or restaurant and bar recommendations - A perfect little haven for a visit to Hoi An!!

Great service”
the hotel is very lovely where can bring us a "feel like home" feeling. we spent 3-night-getaway trip in a hospitalized, friendly, cordial and high-touch service and treatment. the room is cozy with elegant decoration, convenient equipment and pretty room-setting. we got very great help from house owner with the share of spices, electric cooking machine when we wanted to cook for our meal in the room. stil, they showed their best helping hand when we asked to buy something there back to home. i'll certainly come back one day soon if i stay in hoi an. it's a very good destination to be a hide-out for your trip. highly recommended!

Great B&B off the beaten track”
we got a 2 bedroom (both en suite) villa, including kitchen and living room, for the price of a normal hotel room. lovely garden surroundings, very friendly staff, in the midst of a normal residential area, but only 10 min cycle to the heart of town or to the beach. after check out the owner still insisted we stayed on for the (free) sumptious xmas bbq in the evening, which was great. if you want an 'at home' feel while feeling pampered, this is a great place.

Amazing value, very quiet, a bit remote”
the place is not really in hoi an, it takes about 20-30 minutes walk to get to the town, and about the same to get to the beach. the hotel provides bicycles for free and motorbikes for rental which is ok when the weather is good (it was raining our first day there). there is a cute little market around the corner which is free of tourists and has good food. a nice change from hoi an. the bungalows are gigantic for the price we paid (2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, usd), but the "kitchen" has no stove and no oven, only a fridge. the bathrooms are a bit decrepit but ok. the swimming pool is just long enough to do very short laps (about 5-6 strokes). altogether a nice and relaxing stay.

Fantastic little place - charming hosts”
would have loved to stay longer. we were made to feel so welcome here. we were in the room attached to the house - smaller than the bungalows but still really sweet and great value, especially with the great breakfast and free use of bicycles - a great way to explore both hoi an town and the surrounding countryside. the owners and the staff were delightful. it's a little bit out of town but we walked home at night and it's mostly lit and feels very safe. highly recommended.
