If I could give Hoi An Heart Lodge 10 stars I would. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to gorgoeus old town but far enough away to be a peaceful oasis. The bed was as comfortable as any 5 star luxury hotel I've stayed in. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The obvious attention to detail and being eco-friendly was wonderful. The breakfast was incredible! But honestly it was Mat and his lovely family that made it such a memorable and perfect stay. I have never met nicer more genuine people and it was hard to say goodbye...like they were old friends. We were there during Tet and we were made to feel so welcome even though many people took the time off for the holiday. However, we also had absolute privacy when we wanted it. Unless you need to stay in a luxury highrise hotel with every possible amenity I would say the Hoi An Heart Lodge is the absolute best choice.

BEST STAY IN VIETNAM!!”
Me and my partner originally planned on staying at the Heart Lodge for 3 nights but extended our stay to 4 nights because it was so amazing. Mathew & his family are so welcoming and hospitable! They showed us the best food spots, night/day markets, best places to get clothing made and many other great recommendations! The rooms are very nice and clean and hot water is always available! The location is very central and everything is within walking distance. This is a must stay, I can’t recommend it more!

Hoi An heart lodge has my heart. Couple of things that stood out for me during our stay: -Location: The major attractions/food joint are all close by which makes it easier to walk around rather than renting a bike (saves cost) -Cleanliness: If you are a cleanliness freak like me, please be worry free. Everything here is spick and span. -Host: How can i not mention anything about them.? The couple & Viet who runs this place is the most warm and helpful set of people- they put in extra effort to make our short stay a happy one. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying here! Form the moment we arrived they were so welcoming, they have ice tea and talk us through all the best places to eat and go to in Hoi An. We felt at home and looked after. Initially we had book one night but ended up staying two. The rooms are super modern and clean, there’s a swimming pool and they welcomed you to borrow their bikes to move around. The breakfast is great too! Absolutely recommend staying here!

Now this place deserves all the stars in the world. We stayed all across Vietnam and this was our favourite stay by far. The owners viet and matt are the friendliest people I’ve met. They sat down with us and explained all the best places to eat and recommend where to visit. Such friendly and welcoming owners. I can really feel the warmth and love that is put into this place. Hoi an heart lodge definitely has my heart. The rooms were so nice, we had a beautiful king size bed with an amazing balcony that I could stay on for hours. They cook a tasty breakfast and also have motorbikes/bicycles to rent. If you’re going to hoi an, you need to stay here! The reviews live up to the expectations!

Booked 1 night stay here after staying in hostels! Location is perfect and right in the middle of everything! Hotel itself is modern and stylish and bed was huge and super comfy! It had everything you need! Especially to re charge the batteries! Viet and Mat take the hotel to the next level, they were super friendly and super helpful throughout even after I’d checked out! Nothing was too much! Breakfast was also great! Would book again without hesitation! Thank you

When you arrive to this hotel, you feel as you arrived as guest to a close friend's place. Mat and his brother and the rest of their family are ready to help for anything that you might need as tourist. From transers to hints for restaurants and tailors... They are heartly and kind people, happy to help anytime. The place and rooms are convenient and comfy. It's almost downtown but distant enough for a quiet night sleep. If we'd travel 10 more times to Hoi An, we'd stay each time in this place. Thanks for everything 🙏

I really like the quietness here the most, the space is clean - beautiful. About the room, it's very perfect, i love eco-friendly products, the price is really good and cheap with the quality here. The owners are so close and friendly, attentive. I'm very happy to had the moments to talk and share a lot with the owner. The location here is very convenient, very close to the old town. "Hoi An Heart Lodge" will be my best choice for my vacation/business trip!

Matthew and his family were the perfect hosts for our visit to Hoi An (I'm sorry its taken me so long to write this review!). Our room was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. The location is absolutely ideal - in a quieter street but a very short walk from restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. When we come back to Hoi An, we would always choose to stay here!

We booked a room for 2 nights at Hoi An Heart Lodge and it was by far one of the best choices we’ve ever made. Pretty close to the Ancient town, just 4-5 minutes walking there. The room is nice. It’s clean and comfortable. It looks exactly like the photos (the owner said he took them himself, just pure photography, no filter or anything 😆😆😆). The owner and his family are wonderful. They are very friendly and helpful. They made us want to stay for longer. If I ever come to Hoi An again, I’ll definitely stay here (if they still have room left for me of course😄😄😄)

Ganda ng room and location. Few minutes walk lang sa mga tourist spots and nag-ooffer din sila ng free use of bike. Mat is very kind and welcoming we absolutely enjoy our stay here! Make sure to try Mat’s suggested local food!

The room is sparkling clean, warm and cozy. Very close to the old quarter. The hosts are extremely nice and friendly (plus their kids are super adorable!). They have bicycle that you can take to get around for free. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends.

Istayed here for 3 days 2 nights in Dec, very good price, it has a very big common area for traveller to hang out, a nice pool. Very nice decoration. Very nice facilities and super clean, big and spacious toilet! I will definitely come back here for the next stay! Highly recommended for traveller, you could meet some amazing and fun people. The host are super friendly. Excellent and Perfect!

We had a fabulous stay at Hoi An Heart Lodge. The property seems new and we were greeted heartily by the owners. They gave very good recommendations as to where to eat and chill. The property is located just 8 mins walk from the old town in a residential area. This ensures that you are conveniently a short walk away while being able to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the old town / noisy streets. Breakfast was simple but nice. 2 minor points to flag to the owner which could be rectified easily: 1) Lipstick stain was found on one of the cups upon check in 2) sliding door in the shower could not stay closed on a few occasions. Nonetheless, we are very pleased with our stay at the given price point!

We had a pleasant stay in Heart Lodge, the host family is helpful and friendly, best host ever. They even lent us their motorbike to roam the beach and the rice field, and they have free bicycles, too. Location is excellent, we can walk to the old town within 5 minutes and the homestay is surrounded with good food, better than those in the old town. Room is decent, well organized and decorated, and very clean. Bed is comfy and spacious. Highly recommend for budget traveller but want to stay within the heart of Hoi An
