          Convenience, Nice, and Comfortable.”

Near to tourist place like Da Shang Ba, etc; 7eleven and McD available and just beside hotel.

easonable price, comfortable, and nice. It is suitable and best choices for bagpacker. My personal share view about Macau is: Macau is a Chinese and Spanish culture city, especially old local building, historical building, Old Roman Catholic church, old Chinese temple, entry ticket is very cheap (MOP 10) to see Panda in Macau City unlike in China the entry ticket is RMB100 and above, plus most of the tourism places in Macau city does not need entry ticket including museum. Food in Macau is nice and only McDonald available in Macau city, and no KFC in Macau. Regarding gambling places, most of these places are free entry, beautiful and elegant designed, especially The Venetian is the best and worth to visit in evening 5PM. Chinese people in Macau is very nice, helpful, and civilize, but if you are able to speak cantonese to them, they are even willingly and helpful to you. Merely bus in Macau not really covenience sometimes although is cheap, easily get confuse, and taxi in Macau is espensive. Macau City is a nice place to visit although its small.

          Not bad at all”

We don't usually stay that long in this hotel but the only good side of it is the location. It's near the Ruins and going down you'll reach Senado. Also, there's a cheap food shop around this hotel. 7-11, Filipino Store, Mcdonalds, Pizza Hut and a grocery store. If you're booking this hotel please take note of these tips: - Upon arrival in Macau, take a FREE SHUTTLE BUS going to Grand Lisboa(SJMExpress). We didn't spend any patacca in Macau for our bus transportation. We availed all the free shuttle bus. - When you reach Grand Lisboa, you can walk going to Holiday Hotel and reach there around 10-15minutes. But if you choose to take a public bus, take the Bus 7, 8 or 17 and get off HOSPITAL KIANG WU or bus stop before the hospital. Be ready with your coins-6 MOP (adult) or 3 MOP (child) for bus ride. They won't give you a change so make sure you pay exact amount. Use your google maps. It's so helpful! - You can leave your bags in the reception if you still have a lot of time before your flight for free! The only downside of this hotel is their facilities. It's a bit old but as far as I an remember they are in major renovation right now. So don't expect too much!

The hotel stay that feels like home.”

Its location is excellent as it is close to Macau's historical spots and shopping areas. It has high speed internet and the rooms are clean.

We had a comfortable stay in the hotel for its clean room and homey atmosphere. It has high speed wifi. Its location fits our needs since it is just a walking distance to some spots we'd really like to visit. There are also convenience stores and some shops with Filipino owners and staff near the hotel. The hotel staff, though, can't speak English so we had a little difficulty communicating with them. But their inability to speak English didn't affect our lovely stay in Holiday Hotel and in Macau. It only made it more fun.

          Close to the city attractions”

Close to attractions and museum, far enough from the heavily touristy area, helpful staff

First off, we arrived in Macau by ferry and took a free shuttle to town. Then we tried asking for directions to this hotel, but every English speaking person pointed our way to the Holiday Inn. So I had to ask the Holiday Inn staff, who was very helpful, to write this hotel's name in Chinese so that I could show it to the taxi driver. If you don't speak Chinese, be prepared, not so many people on this island speaks English. As we arrived at the hotel, all the fuss we had while trying to get there vanished. Since we went to Macau not to try our luck at the famous casinos, but to explore the Chinese-Portugese little city. This hotel is not far from the main attractions; the Ruins of St. Paul's, the Macau Museum, the Guia Fortress, the Senado Square, all of these (and more) are in a walking distance. We covered so much area in just one day. The location is more than great. The room is clean. The taxi fare isn't expensive. My friend is going back soon and she said she wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay.

Worth staying if its on weekend”

Prices of hotels in macau go too high on weekends thats why i had no choice but to book this hotel. To my surprise, it wasnt bad at all. The room is spacious enough for the price. However, our room wasn’t 100% cleaned when we arrived - there was a glass of dirty water left on the side table of our bed. But its not of a big deal for me to not give a good review for this hostel

You can leave your luggage after you check-out for free. ”

We only stayed in Macau for 1 night. So after we checked out I asked them if we can leave our stuff for free. Eventhough the receptionist couldn't speak English. He tried his best to communicate with us. If you would like to stay near famous hotels then try to book a hotel near Taipa. But if you are more into tourist spots then better stay here. The room was huge. There is Mcdonald's nearby. The taxi was very expensive in Macau but the Filipinos who helped us trying to tell us where to go and what bus to take were extremely amazing. Made me so proud for being a Filipino:)

          Value for Money”

Great location in the Macau Peninsula! Walking distance to the Ruins of St. Paul’s, Senado Square, Macau Museum, Lou Lim Ioc Garden. There is a 7-11, Filipino sari-sari store, 24-hour grocery and McDonald's nearby. Great wifi connection too. Room is cleaned everyday, towels changed, toiletries replenished. Kettle and 2 glasses available also. Room and bathroom are both spacious. Enjoyed the hot water as it was cold when we visited. No bidet though :-( There is a deposit of 500 MOP which you will get back upon check out. The staff don't speak English but they are willing to help - just use Google Translate. Overall, you will get value for money! There was also no hassle booking through Agoda. I just showed the staff my printed booking confirmation and passport upon check in. No further verification needed which was great!

          Holiday Hotel in Macau!”

The affordable price, great location, very tidy hotel!

I have stayed at the Holiday Hotel every time I go to Macau, and I totally enjoy the experience every time I stay there, because it is an affordable hotel located near the tourist sites of Macau, and it is really close to some wonderful food outlets as well, so the Holiday Hotel is my only choice every time that I go to the beautiful Macau. Please keep in mind that this Hotel is a very basic and tidy 2 star hotel, and the main reason I like this hotel is because of the affordable prices for their tidy rooms, and because of it's location! There is no rooms service, and you will need to keep your own room tidy, but the rooms are quite nice with a bed, airconditioner, television, cupboard for clothes, shower/toilet, telephone, writing desk, and a window for fresh air, so what more do you need, actually it's perfect for me, but if you want more, then it's better if you pay a lot more money and stay at one of the 4 star hotels in Macau, ok! This hotel is basic, but it is well located to everything, and it is tidy, so please enjoy your stay!

          Pleasant experience”

The hotel has an absolute location. It's very close to some of Macau's popular landmarks - Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, Fortaleza do Monte, Camoes Square and Casa Garden, St. Anthony's Church, Leal Senado Building, St. Augustine's Church, Dom Pedro V Theatre, Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, Mandarin's House, Lilau Square, Moorish Barracks, A-Ma Temple and a lot more, even to the casinos like Grand Lisboa, Hotel Lisboa, Wynn Macau, MGM, and also Macau Tower. You can really discover places just by walking, which I did, from the hotel to these popular sights. I didn't have to spend a lot with transportation fees. The hotel is also few steps away from local gift shops, pastry shops, and some eateries, as well as parks and convenience stores. The hotel staff are quite nice, one lady even directed me on how to go to Ruins of St. Paul's. The senior staff who was on duty when I arrived at past 2am on Friday/Saturday was accommodating to my concern despite the limited English when I thought the key got stuck to the key slot. Overall, I'd say I would book with this hotel again when I come back.

          Location, Cleanliness, Good Price

It was a super comfortable stay in this hotel. I love it that the hotel management made sure the room is ready, clean, and that everything is available like towels, hot water, toiletries, bed, aircon, kettle. They gave us two big twin beds which was noted in my request. Although the receptionist cannot speak english fluently, I say he is okay. We were given with rooms right away upon arrival. It is a 2 minute walk from hotel to tourist spots like Ruins of St Paul, Macau Museum, Senado Square, Monte Port. It is also close to shops and restaurants. The cost of living in this area is relatively cheaper compare to Taipa area. I like it that there also 7 eleven and Mcdonalds close to the hotel.

Location, bathroom & good size bed

The Holiday Hotel, although an older style hotel is located in the centre of the old city of Macau around the corner from the ruined church of S. Paulo. Local buses pass nearby taking one to downtown. The reception staff only speak Cantonese. The bedroom was a good size, although a little dark and had no hanging space. Comfortable bed tucked against the wall, which made it feel a little claustrophobic. The bathroom, old style again, had a great shower and all the toiletries you could want. For the price, this is a good hotel and would stay here again.

          Cleanliness, good location, no frills

I totally suggest travellers to Macau bring an iPad with map and GPS service with u( such as Google Map HD or Baidu Map HD) . U wont need cellular network but can know exactly where u r in circling located streets and lanes and the route to ur destination. Bus 26 is very useful when u want to reach this hotel from Macau Int'l Airport. The stop is just around the corner, "Est. de Coelho da Amaral / Kiang Wu Hospital" As for the route from hotel to Airport, take 26 from "Rua Do Guimaraes". Walk west until the coast and then u see the stop. About 10 mins walk. U should look all these up in advance to secure a safe and budget trip.

          Price price price

Best place to stay in Macau if you don't want to pay an arm and leg which is the average price of a hotel room in the city. The room has decent wifi. Near a MCD's and a large grocery store. Staff has limited English skills so Chinese speakers do best in such a place which is off the major tourist hotels. But Macau is so small that you can walk to just about everywhere except the airport.

The room was clean, with bath room attached and standard hotel ammenities, comfort room, fast wifi and wide coverage. because we still got the wifi about 50 meters far from hotel. the staff perfomance

It was first time trip to macau with my husband. We love macau because of its hystorical site and unique buildings (casinos community). Holiday hotel is enough to us related its cost and room facility. Room is clean with bath room and the standard ammenities, there was tv in room, fast and wide coverage wifi. Even the staff perfomance in our opinion litle bit rude but maybe it is as service standard there. Very recommended for couples and if you only use hiotel for take nap and shower only.

A VERY CONVENIENT SMALL HOTEL ”

The standard single room which I stay for 5 nights is rather small, but the bed is large enough for myself and the cleanliness of the room is superb, fully equipped with amenities, kettle, hair dryer etc. They clean the room every morning Aircon works well and there's English Channel on tv that I can watch everyday. The drawer big enough to hang our clothes This hotel is very near to various ancient landmarks of Macao, easy to go by bus to every direction. The only complain I have is a cleaning service lady with short hair who is very rude , the rest are very friendly. Overall, I'm fully satisfied staying in this hotel! From the airport you can take bus #MT1 and stop at Freirra Amaral in front of Grand Lisboa Casino. From there then take bus #7 stop at Kiang Wu Hospital (5 stops from Freirra Amaral) then walk about 3 minutes to McDonald's and the Holiday Hotel is very near to Super market 711. On the way back to the airport you have to go to the bus stop in front of Post Office (10 minutes walk from the hotel) then take either bus number 8, 9, 9B, 12, 22, 25, 25B (only 3 stops) to Freirra Amaral. From there you must take bus number MT1 to Macao International Airport. Please take note, bus #MT1 only available every 20 minutes from 07:00 am.

Clean hotel in good location to explore Macau”

The hotel is located in the center of Macau, so that you can easily reach the main attraction of Macau by foot. The room was clean clean and the staff was really nice and helpful, although their English skills were limited.

          Super Convenient Hotel!”

          Convenient location and affordable

first of all, i would say the location of this hotel is very convenient for us to visit of most of the historical or interesting place at macau. it is just 5mins walking distance from st paulo and others. second of all, you don't expect this hotel will give you luxury service as it is what i considered a budget hotel in macau. room is small but clean and tidy, its equiped with most of the thing you need in a hotel room, like wifi to room, second pillow, kettle, hot water, tv and even an air-purifier! i will sure recommend this hotel to all my friends.
