Very good hotel”
Absolutely that the hotel may look a little bit old but inside was very well decorations. I think it would rank like 4-5 star hotel in Chiangmai. The room is very big and furnished. We booked the room with twin beds and it was surprised us that the bed is quite big than other hotel. Usually we will have like 3.5 bed but here it's about 4-5 i guess. So very comfortable. More than that the bathroom is very big and provided 1 shower room and 1 bathtub. By the way we didn't book with breakfast so no ideas. So i would recommend u to stay here as it clean and very comfortable. Moreover very easy to take taxi or grab car.
Fantastic Caring stay”
Pros- Good quality stay at reasonable price, very helpful staff( for booking transport esp Mook in concierge)good room service, good breakfast, feel a sense of caring n respect, Hospital right opposite was v helpful as my son got ill, all facilities avlbl as expected in top hotels, they waivd 3rd night stay as i hd to chk out early cos son ill which was a grt gesture Cons - 15 mins away from Old city..so if dont mind taking travel options no problem
Central location old hotel”
Can't complain, you get what you paid for.
Want something nice, book this hotel!”
All good, best hotel we have stayed at so far. Staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful, beds and pillows great. We booked 2 rooms with queen beds and got an upgrade to a suite with adjoining 2 bed room. Tons of room for family. Thanks so much!
Great property HUGE ROOM”
We were in Chiang Mai for the 4th time in the last two years and this was our first time staying at this property. Let me begin with the staff. They are excellent! Very caring, helpful, and thoughtful. I cannot say enough about the team at this hotel. Well done! We stayed in one of the riverfront, mountain view suites and it was a very nice room. Perhaps a bit older as compared ot the newer properties but it was excellent for us with some of the best views of Doi Suthep and the surrounding mountains we have ever seen while in Chiang Mai. If you are driving, grab Google Maps. You will need it. Note: Google maps is wrong on some turns in Chiang Mai but all in all, it will get you to the hotel! The hotel is very nice. The rooms are big and comfortable and the food tasty with many local restaurants nearby. I definitely recommend this hotel for travelers to Chiang Mai!
Quiet location just within walking distance of night market but a little too far from old city. Good breakfast buffet selection, but i found the restaurant was a bit too cold. Facilities in general were good.
Really really comfortable beds, great breakfast, professional staff.”
The only concern with this hotel is you must take a shuttle, tuk tuk, or rent a moto for yourself because it's a bit out of the way. Sometimes hard to find a ride to and from... other than that it's a great place to stay.
Decent hotel with excellent staff”
Drove from Bangkok to Chiang Mai on Thursday and reached the hotel at 5pm to be informed by Achrapan (who was very polite and friendly) that our room was still not ready which was a sudden downer but nonetheless, she arranged us another room immediately, so the check in was fairly swift. I had a few issues with the room and after informing Sirinan about it, she was kind enough to change our room and even give us an upgrade. Seldom I have a problem at reputed hotels but, how the staff manage and handle the situation is what matters the most to me. Everything was handled well by the staff which made our stay quite comfortable. I had left my phone charger in the previous room whilst shifting the rooms in the morning after an upgrade provided by Sirinan and, when we got back in the evening, I informed reception of the same....five minutes later we got our charger delivered to our room. This impressed me a lot about the hotel staff too. Rooms are huge which is another plus for me and I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Chiang Mai. Keep up the good work.
It was most memorable time for Chiangmai; The Hotel was great on all area and very clean. The food was fabulous and varied. I really did enjoy my stay and will recommend anyone who is willing to have a peaceful and quality time in Chiangmai to book for Holiday Inn Chiangmai
Nice and enjoyable”
We are able to go around Chiangmai within minute. Airport is less than 10 minutes away. Downtown is also within 10 minutes. Convenient stores, massage shops and food stalls are just around the corner which makes it convenient for us if we need to get drinks and food and massage after a long day. A great international hospital is just opposite if you are unwell.
Great hotel to explore Chiangmai from. ”
This beautiful hotel is located overlooking the Ping river near many of the downtown attractions. The buffet breakfast offers a wide varity of food with both in-door seating, and on the patio overlooking the river. The hotel also serves a daily dinner buffet with a different theme for each night of the week. The front counter staff was friendly, fast, and, efficient. The Concierge Service was attentive, reliable, and effective.
Functional, complete and friendly”
The entire hotel stay was very nice. Rooms are a little old but still very clean and functional. Pool is nice as well. The guest services are really friendly, they talk to you at random and ask you how your day was. Breakfast buffet menu doesn't change per day but would be nice to have variety.
Very nice hotel with good size room”
This is a Very nice hotel，with very helpful staffs. The rooms are clean and in good size，the bathroom is very clean and nice，breakfast is reasonably priced and the breakfast offers a wide range of western food which is a plus，overall i would reccommend this hotel to my friends and family who travel either for leisure or business.
Spacious and comfy”
Rooms were spacious and comfortable to stay in. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Good restos near the hotel if you prefer cheaper local food. Couple of spas nearby as well. Hotel is not near the town, but it provides free transport to the night market and town.
Could not ask for a better hotel”
I stayed at Holiday Inn for 9 days and always the staff were very friendly and helpful. Large and comfortable rooms made my stay even more enjoyable. Great location and close to all the night life. I will certainly stay there again on my next visit to Chiang Mai
Best in the town”
Hotel was very busy which caused some problems which were dealt with by the manager. Everything in the hotel is good except for the breakfast. The breakfast is high quality food but is always cold, the tea and coffee (also usually cold) is dispensed one cup at a time by the staff, and they are always busy. This hotel is also great value, as it is not the most expensive, but does most things very well Would have liked free Wifi, but it is available at a price (quite high) The hotel facilities and room comfort are first class. I have stayed in most of the quality hotels in Chiang Mai and the holiday inn is my favourite, by a long way. The meals in the evening are very good, and a nightcap on the river terrace is very pleasant
Fantastic - huge rooms and great views”
Fantastic. Only minutes in a tuk tuk from central city. Staff very helpful and no language problems that can be experienced at some other hotels. Room was huge and lovely. Spotlessly clean and absolutely no issue with recommending this hotel for singles or couples.
Spacious hotel room, good breakfast”
Enjoyed my stay. Good service. Comfortable. 10 min ride by cab from airport. Convenient to get to the night bazaar. Nearby, there is spa and cafe. The staff are helpful with our booking of day tours. Room service is very fast. Overall, I will recommend this place for people going chiangmai. Good value for money!
Nice hotel ,river view, good service ,big room”
This hotel is very reasonable price and value to every dollar spend. After tiring business trip I can come back to hotel and relax in bed which has variety of room for guests. Nice clean room with different view. Good for business traveler and close to airport. Close to restaurant that are all river view and well known. Staff is very nice and very polite with good service minded. Crowded in some period of time. "it is nice hotel and worth for your spending "
As usual with Holiday Inn the rooms are lovely. The staff are very good, facilities are also excellent. only complaint is that breakfast food and drinks are always cold, and has not improved over my last few stays. Notwithstanding this complaint I will continue to stay at this hotel when in Chiang mai as it is very good otherwise.
