Friendly Staff (especially PM) ”

This is my first time staying at Holiday Inn Express Sukhumvit 11 and this hotel is pretty new as well... I arrived on 11 july at about 7:30pm local time... My booking was a Standard queen bed room but when I checked in, the staff over the counter tell me that all queen bed room are fully booked, only left with double bed room available... so I ask them is there any way they can squeeze in a queen bed room for me so this frontdesk customer services name (PM) help me out with the problem and also been a super nice and caring customer service I ever encounter... I will definitely go back to Holiday Inn Express Sukhumvit 11 when I come to bangkok again...

Great Location, Great Price”

For those who don't' know, Sukhumvit 11, where Holiday Inn Express is, is one of the better streets in Sukhumvit---full of life by day and night, and a great place to stay (I've probably stayed on that street at least 50 times over the years). So for location---it's fantastic. The price is great. Plus the hotel is essentially brand new and the rooms are tastefully furnished. If you're looking for a good hotel at a good price in a prime location, you'll like the Holiday Inn Express Sukhumvit 11.

Everything looks and feels brand new”

After spending previous nights in other low to mid priced hotels like the Hope Land hotel at Phra Khanong and Baiyoke Sky Hotel at Chit Lom, the similarly priced Holiday Inn Express at Sukhumvit initially felt like a relatively small in comparison but my delight everything looked and felt brand new! Located on the far end of Soi 11, its around 10 mins walk to the Nana BTS, straight down the street no turning was easy to spot. Numerous bars and restaurant nearby, with 7 eleven across the road, theres no need to walk any further, unless u wanna go shopping, theres Robbinson Mall and Terminal 21 Shopping centres near the next BTS stop Asok. Overall I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the staffs were extremely friendly, the room was comfy yet stylish with a sense of modern design. Big flat screen tv, soft pillow, quiet aircond, strong shower and toilet flush, etc were important factors contributing to my very satisfactory course of stay. Highly recommended especially for travelers who want to be close to BTS, yet don't need facilities like pool, gym or conference room, etc. This would have to be one of the best value for money hotel around in the district!

great location and wifi”

We stay on Soi Sukhumvit regularly and have been to several hotels in the area. This is the first time that we have stay in Holiday Inn Express, as the location is brilliant and it is 5 mins away from the action, even though its on the same road. The biggest bonuses was that the location is still great, and the wifi was excellent, much better than the other hotels in the same price bracket. There is also breakfast included. Other hotels for the same service on that road are more expensive for a further $15++, but then it is only 5 mins walk further down the road, but the bonus of this is that it is much quieter and you don't hear all the music and noise from the local bars, street vendors etc. The only disadvantage to this is that the rooms are slightly smaller, but if you are only planning on sleeping there, then it's not a problem and it does get busy at breakfast time but then we went at 9.00 am when everyone else went due to wanting a lie in, but other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel. We are planning on staying again next month.

Good one but needs a few improvement in facilities.”

Undoubtedly wonderful location, nice cordial staffs, very pleasant of its cleanliness. But breakfast is boring. Limited items and typed menu frustrating. Breakfast timing also create some inconvenience. Closing time of breakfast may be extended upto 10.30 am instead of 10.00 am. For the convenience of tourist a help desk is essential. We hope if they work on these two things as suggessted definitely for us Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 will be the best option to stay. My rating would be 9 out of 10. Thanks. good location for massage, pubs, shopping and bts”

We live outside of Bangkok and whenever we come to the city for a weekend we always stay here. The location is about 10 mins walk to the BTS but as it is always a busy street there are lots of things to see to make the walk go more quickly. The hotel is clean, great wifi, plenty of hot water and good secure parking facilities for the car. However from our last trip down Soi 11 it seems that a lot of the restaurants have now closed down which is a shame as it made the road a busy and popular road to walk down but still a great choice if you fancy living in the city. Holiday Inn is approximately the same price as Ambassador and President's Palace. Although it is further down the street, which means 5 more mins walking, the Holiday Inn is far better as it is much cleaner and wifi is better, but you miss out on the swimming pool, but then again who comes to the city of Bangkok to go swimming

The best aspect of this hotel is the close proximity to everything. Stepping out the door you will find yourself in the middle of all the action. There is a 7/11 right next door, there are restaurants, bars, spas, and street food everywhere. There is also off street parking in the garage, which is nice, given the congested area. It is far down the soi, so it is a bit far for the public transportation. Lastly, all of the hotel staff were very pleasant.

Typical holiday inn with very high standards ”

I stayed here for 3 nights as my friends stayed across the road in Aloft. Holiday inn always £20 cheaper over them 3 days and my friends say I got a much better service than them. The rooms were very clean if you missed the cleaner (hangover) she left a card saying ring “service” and she would come straight to the room. Hotel staff were very polite and in it was in a great location, 7-11 across the street, burger stall (best I’ve tasted in years) outside and tuk tuks and taxis outside if you wanted to go somewhere. Plenty of bars on the street and insanity supernight club across the road and on the right although you wouldn’t know it was there is so quiet. All in all expect the usual holiday inn standards but I found this holiday inn have a little higher standard than the uk ones.

Nice & Clean Hotel”

It was a nice experience for us to stay in Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11. The hotel was clean and their wifi connection was also fast. The room was spacious for a budget hotel under Holiday inn. But, you need a walk to the nearest BTS Nana since the distance is a little bit far from BTS station (Nana). Overall, i'm satisfy with this hotel. Keep it Up.

PERFECT LOCATION AMONG ALL HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS BRANCHES”

Room setting is the same as Holiday Inn express Bangkok Sathorn it's just that it doesn't have a nice foyer. Overall, room is clean and value for money! I have not much issue. It's about 5-8 minutes walk to NANA BTS station, not too far still acceptable. I enjoyed my stay here! Will definitely book again!

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room is just right in size and the bathroom has all the essentials. The room is clean and cozy. The breakfast is basic and nothing fancy but it has enough variety for a simple breakfast. The laundry room is easy and convenient to use and cheap. The only drawback is that there is no free transport from the hotel to the train (BTS Nana Station) which is quite a long walk. The street the hotel is on (Sukhumvit Soi 11) is a very happening street with clubs, drinking holes and restaurants. There are 2 good Italian restaurants (Pormodoro and Lemoncillo) on this street. For guests who are in Bangkok to visit the Bumrungrad International Hospital (a multiple-specialty medical centre), this hotel is a short walk from it.

Nice Hotel, but...”

Nice hotel, but the location is about as far away as you can get from the BTS station and still be on Soi 11. Also, their gym, is "under construction", and when I asked when it would be complete, they said that customers were complaining about the construction noise, so they stopped working in it. Huh? Seems like an excuse and some odd Thai logic. Overall, it's a Holiday Inn Express. Basically the same as any you'd find the world over.

Great value and a great location on Sukhumvit 11”

For the value and the location on popular Sukhumvit 11 this is a well maintained hotel at a great price. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for value but not in a dingy hotel... they recently replaced their ground level breakfast buffet with a coffee zone coffee shop and it’s even better (breakfast buffet moved downstairs). I used to stay at Citadines 11 but prefer this (but citadines 11 does have a mini kitchen area for those who need it).

Good Value Overall ”

Excellent reception and overall staff performance. Great location & well equipped rooms & bathrooms. This is a new hotel, but showing already wear & tea. Dirty & stained carpets, chairs in rooms etc. Shower areas unfortunately used white silicone, which is hard to keep clean. Train cleaning staff to use bleach to wipe down all silicon/wet areas carefully once every few days.Unfortunately certain nationalities who now visit Thailand in masses will only contribute to fast wear & tear. Not easy to manage this problem. Overall I love the Holiday Inn Express Theme and the way it was realized. Best of luck and thanks to the well trained & friendly staff. MS

Clean, Quite & Friendly Staff”

This hotel is fairly new and in a quite area in Sukhumvit soi 11 but not far from all the action and restaurants .The rooms are small but all the amenities work well,coffee,water etc ,plenty of hot water,the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quite and clean.The staff were very friendly & helpful during our time checking in and out was no problems.The breakfast was adequate and it was easy to find a seat and enjoy the passing traffic . I would stay here again on my return to Bangkok

Great hotel clean new and all the holiday inn express just do it right for the corporate stays and holiday stays. Great food on the streets and bars can cater for all in Bangkok

Modern comfort and convenience”

This hotel was a little above our normal standard, and we enjoyed its modernity and convenience. Well situated downtown, with a lovely urban breakfast room and excellent multinational breakfast. The room was small but beautifully designed for comfort and convenience. A US Holiday Inn Express well translated to the Bangkok location. We stayed here on our last night in Thailand, and it made a very convenient getaway. The hotel staff got us a taxi to the airport that was significantly cheaper than our ride in a month before had been.
