Holiday Inn Express Durban is a wonderful place to stay for a short visit. The staff are extra friendly and go the extra mile. I was unfortunately NOT able to check in on 16th April 2022, as the hotel experienced water shortages after the area was hit with disaster. The staff that called me to explain the situation were friendly and you could hear in their voices they were smiling.....this all while suffering personal loss! Hotel staff were amazing, breakfast awesome and absolutely loved the beans. We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel which is also Very close to EVERYTHING with Gateway Mall just up the road. Thank you for the hospitality, Holiday Inn never disappoints. See you guys soon !

The staff and facilities at the Holiday Inn Express - Umhlanga are exceptional. The staff pay attention to detail and make you feel like you at home away from home. The internet facilities are great especially if you have to catch up on work or your favourite programmes. I would recommend the stay to anyone :)

The stuff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean ,very close to everything you need,but as a member I would have loved to have changed my room to a sea view which the ladies refused to do but overall all is perfect.

Celebrate 40th and be near airport”
Customer service was excellent, hotel was clean and beds comfortable. Only downside was we weren't called after asking for wake up call and we asked for veg breakfast pack but were given ham and cheese and as they were prepacked we only realized at the airport. The staff were fantastic though, very friendly and welcoming.
