Pablo made us very welcome at front desk. We received a parking discount for our car which was a good saving. They also gave us joining rooms which was really nice. Hotel very clean lovely breakfast and perfect location for the Playhouse.

We booked this location for its location and it didnt fail us. Everything is in walking distance. The breakfast is still buffet style following the guidelines for covid.

We had a lovely stay. Near waverley station and other tourists attraction. Well organized for covid. Only issue was out toilet has difficulty flushing. But other than that stay was awesome.

Good location for a city centre break. Clean and fit for purpose. Breakfast was disappointing though, very busy and not a lot of selection. Staff seemed to be under pressure too. I would stay again but I would skip the breakfast and eat somewhere else nearby.

We found it very convenient to the theatre across the road.”
We were surprised at how good it was all round. We stayed at a four star hotel two weeks previously and this hotel compared favourably and was almost half price cheaper. The breakfast included was a lovely surprise and it was fresh and plentiful. Will definitely be our first choice in the future.

Great hotel to stay for the night and just across from the Playhouse. Breakfast was good but not very big for the amount of guests there was 3 of us and had to sit at a table with other people.

It’s a decent hotel in a good location of new town. Breakfast is quite limited, no refrigerator in room, and room quite small for two beds. It does the job though.

Choked sink”
I arrived around 9 pm and was very tired. Then I found the sink was choked. Informed the front desk and one staff came to check. After checking, he said there's nothing he can do as the technician has already gone home. I did not accept that and wanted to speak with the manager. The manager said the same thing and I replied that they leave me with no choice but to accept a substandard service. Then only the manager came to the room and on the advice of the technician (via phone) did he managed to clear the choke. If he had done that initially, I would have given them a high score!

Stayed only 1 night here but definitely will stay much longer if I come to Edinburgh again. Really love this hotel, location is good, staffs are friendly and willing to help. Room is big and clean. Buffet breakfast is wonderful with a lot of choice and yummy yummy.
