Disappointing ”

We stayed in a King Spa Suite and the jacuzzi couldn't be plugged because it was broken. The first night when I informed the front desk of the problem we were promised that maintenance would come fix it first thing in the morning. They didn't come the next morning so we were told they'd come the next day. On the third day of our stay, after two nights without a working tub, we were moved to another king spa suite. For our troubles we were promised 2000 points. These still have not been awarded. I stay at IHG hotels for work quite often because, although they're not the nicest option, they're typically reliable. This particular stay was such a disappointment. First, there was the issue with the jacuzzi which is the one feature you pay for when upgrading to a King Spa Suite. This was not fixed until the third day of our stay despite bringing attention to it for two days previous. 2000 bonus points really doesn't come close to actually remedying the situation as the price difference between and king room and king spa suite for two nights is much larger than 2000 IHG points. Next it seems even more unacceptable to be told you'll be given points as an apology only to have to follow-up weeks later because the points were never awarded. On top of these issues the bed in the first room was terribly warped and very uncomfortable (the bed in the second room was fine), the fitness centre was very smelly and the guest laundry was out of order.
