This hotel is perfectly located near all forms of transportation and restaurants, one block from the Gare De Lyon and close to the Bastile and Marais areas. The hotel itself is a former palace that has been updated within the last five years and the room are bigger then usual and completely up to modern day standards. The staff could not be more accommodating and helpful. We have stayed in five star hotels in France that were not nearly as well run. The price we paid was extremely reasonable for what we received and we could not recommend this hotel more highly.

No room for 3 adults”
The hotel itself is ok. Breakfast is ok, but the disappointment we had is, that even if we booked for 3 adults, we received a room for two with an extra small easy to broken bad. It was not so comfortable. Local staff was not able to offer for us another solution. Be aware of this before you book to a room here.

Experience was not as good as other Holiday Inn's”
Card system is too old that if you hold it closely to your phone it'll deactivate. Customer service is also not that good or maybe that's just Paris lol. The only good about this hotel is at least its decently clean and is in a good location

No parking available. With luggage, its not recommended. We found the room is small. Too tired to question the reception if we were given the right room as we booked a room 25msq kinda size. While waiting for the car and then walking past the reception at the front door when checkout with our bags, a can of coke fell off our bag near the reception and we heard the guy at the reception said "cel bouef" meaning: what a beef/meat head. So rude. Omg. Unacceptable behaviour. Instead of helping your guest, you called names.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Paris Bastille because we were going to Roissy Airport to return home at the end of our trip. No. 4 Aeroport Bus leaves from the street in front of the Gare du Lyon - a very short walk from the hotel. The hotel is also close to Gare D'Austerlitz, the Bastille monument, and many small restaurants and shops for eating in or takeaway food. We stayed in a King Leisure room, which was dominated by the extremely comfortable bed, but was sufficiently spacious to stow suitcases in the wardrobes either side of the bed. The walls are sufficiently solid to eradicate any noise from the hotel and must be double-glazed as there is no street noise. Staff are very courteous and the breakfast was substantial.

The hotel is good. All the staff can speak English which is a plus in Paris. Staff is very helpful. Rooms and bed is perfect for a good night sleep after a long day. 5 minutes walk from Gare de Lyon where you can get RER to Disneyland. A short walk to Quai De la Rape'e or Sully Morland station.

Overall a good business hotel and with the necessary amenities, though like most other hotels in Europe haven't warmed up to the concept of free wi fi access in the rooms. The breakfast is good and the staff is also helpful on most if not all matters. Essentially a business or a transit hotel, very centrally located in Bastille close to Gare de Lyon station.

The hotel was clean, the room was kind of small but no that bad. It was just a 5 minute walk from Gare de Lyon, and there was a supermarket nearby. There was free wifi but you are only allowed to use it for an hour at a time. The TV in our room didn't work, but I don't understand a word of French so it didn't really matter. If you need a convenient place to stay, this is not a bad choice.
