If there is a better resort than Phi Phi Holiday I would be surprised. We paid for a small wooden boat for transit to the resort. You have to negotiate a good rate which would be 800 Bhat. The resort was outstanding. The breakfast was bar none fantastic. We opted to walk north along the beach to the first local restaurant on the beach for an incredible authentic Thai seafood dinner. None of the resort north or south on the east side of the island looked nearly as nice as Phi Phi Holiday Resort. Note, the boat captains were fantastic at moving our luggage off and onto the transport boats. My only complaint is I didn’t stay longer than one night.

We stayed in the room that comes with private pool and ocean view. Though it is slightly far away from the beach area, the buggy car service is always on call for help! We would like to compliment the buggy driver who was on night shift (nights of Aug 31-Sept 1), drove us up and guided us on the various room types available at the resort - he was so helpful! Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely visit again! One piece of suggestion would be to increase the variety of food at the breakfast place :) The hotel offers great service and landscape in general! We enjoyed the stay a lot.

The property is on the quieter side of PhiPhi island. I had a pool with ocean view room which is situated on the top most location, requiring a buggy for most movement. Walking to reception/breakfast/beach is possible but will require some time if unfit. The amenities are maintained as best they can, taking into account the surroundings; for example a few insects floating in the pool which can be rectified by calling housekeeping. In-room amenities are basic, however I was happy with their working WiFi, comfy bed and pillows and that pool towels were provided by the pool with stunning views, making it a perfect spot to relax. Overall, it's a worthwhile choice for a pleasant getaway.

“Romantic Weekend Alone”
A great resort for couples looking to spend some time alone and away from the busyness of tourists in Thailand. I initially booked 2 nights in a Hill Top Sunset villa but ended up extending my stay because I wanted to relax and enjoy my time alone. My room was spacious, comfortable and fitted with everything I needed. They even had a coffee machine in the room which was great. The villa I stayed in had it's own pool and was very private so it's perfect for couples who just want to be alone. The buggy/activity staff were really friendly and easy to talk to. The resort was safe which is important for a solo traveler like me. They pick and take you up to your room in the buggy so you don't have to worry about getting back to your room in the dark. I definitely recommend this resort. However, the food was overpriced (they add on VAT & 10% service fee on top of the price listed in their menu) and didn't taste good but there are surrounding restaurants where you can eat.
