Charming, hip, and comfortable”
This hotel is fantastic! The decor is eclectic and tasteful, but not overdone. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The front porch is relaxing, comfortable, and spacious. The rooms are cozy and charming with gorgeous hardwood floors and comfortable beds. The air conditioning unit in my room was a bit loud but the ceiling fan helps to cool without having to run the air all the time. I have read that the bathrooms are too small - I did not find this to be the case; perhaps they would be if you are a large person or expect to have two people in the bathroom at the same time. The location is great - easy walking distance to most downtown locations and the bayfront paths. I have only two suggestions - 1) change the music in the lobby/porch/restaurant - I was quite tired of hearing worn-out 80s songs - genre didn't seem to fit the space, 2) have better coffee in the rooms (yuk, tasted like mud); the free morning coffee was the saving grace :-) Overall, highly recommend.

A Rays Weekend”
We arrived on Friday to spend the day before the Rays game at the beach, but it rained (poured) all day. It was a good thing we booked at the Hollander. We enjoyed a delicious cannoli and a great cup of coffee after our stressful drive. The Hollander has a fantastic restaurant, so we didn't have to leave for dinner. The room was small but quaint and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to have the Hollander Van available to drop us off near the Bayfront shops and bring us to the Rays Game on Saturday. Sunday Brunch was great and parking was free.

Superb hotel in every way”
What a fabulous hotel! Lovely historic building, fantastic decor and great rooms. Beautiful covered porch at the front, where you can watch the world pass by with a cup of coffee. The pool and pool bar area is lovely and spacious, there is free parking, complimentary bottled water, a shuttle bus into the historic downtown area. Nothing was too much trouble, we were offered the use of the hotels laundry facilities for free, and were offered complimentary coffee on check out. A wonderful experience!

Charming”
What a hidden gem this hotel is. The decor and kitchiness mde it so. Charming! The staff appeared to have a vested interest in the hotel and were friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached was also very classy and cool, the place was packed ! We did not go to the pool but it was hopping! Looked like a fun crowd at hppy hour and kids the next day, was worried it would be a late crowd outside our window and it was not. Two tiny things, I think we may have had a bird family living in our air conditioner or just outside our window and they were early risers! But I put the white noise on our phone - without it I don’t think we could have slept. The parking was not easy. But we were able to park at the dentist across the street. This is not a hotel for people who are hitting amusement parks or the beach everyday- so even though it was full it was peaceful!!

Such a cute place”
We only got to stay one night here but we were so impressed with the property. We loved the vintage and unique decor. My husband and I sat outside on the first night and drank wine on the beautiful patio and it was so relaxing. We enjoyed our breakfasts the next morning in the restaurant at the hotel (I had a scramble, he had a smoked salmon benedict and said it was very good). I had to go to a doctor's appointment in the morning and staff at the hotel was very accommodating in letter us check out a little late. Only downside we saw to the hotel was that the walls were a little thin - we were woken up by someone in the hallway and also had a lot of street noise, but we pretty much chalked it up to this being a vintage building. If you're staying awhile and want it quieter, you might try to have a room that doesn't face 4th Ave. Overall, we couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough!

The Hollander is a real gem! The hotel , staff and restaurant were all awesome. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The HH2O bar was fun. The brunch on Sat. and Sun. was a great surprise and Eric the omelet maker was amazing! The pool deck gets crowded quickly but is beautiful and fun. The room was clean and comfortable. Great location for all we wanted to do. We will return

Wonderful”
Really nice older hotel that has a great staff - reception, bar and dining room - everywhere , that was pretty amazing. Rooms are small but clean. We had a party in St. Petes and did a 2 night stay here and so glad we did. Food in restaurant very good. They also offer shuttle to main area of town. This is my only hotel now in St. Pete's.

A Downtown St. Pete Jewel!”
Best hotel staff I have ever encountered, great food and bar many craft beers on draft! Location ideal especially with shuttles running constantly! My family was in town for my mothers funeral service, this hotel offered the comfort and convenience we needed, loved the homey feel in the lobby also, pool rivals Vegas hotels!

Great Downtown location”
This hotel has everything you need. Right in the heart of downtown St. Pete. Only a 10 minute walk to Ocean Drive full of restaurants & shops. They even have a shuttle to get you around locally if you'd like. The pub on sight is very good, The Tap Room. Great breakfast buffet on the weekends. Our favorite was the pool bar. Great atmosphere and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports. 15 minute drive to the beaches. The only negatives were small bathroom and being an old hotel the rooms have an aroma.

The hotel is in the downtown, 15 minutes walking distance to Bay Area where activities are. Room is small , clean , bed is comfortable. Staffs are very nice. It has a lot of free parking spot on back of hotel. The reason I chose this hotel is for the price and location. I will recommend it to friends.

Cute place”
Great location, old school hotel in walking distance of main parts. also had free shuttle services that provide trips around. it's an older hotel without phones or irons in the room. When I needed extra towels, I called from my cell phone. Hotel pool is alot of fun. good music. bar and food available to order with waitress staff. pool is open to the public, all lounges chairs are sometimes not available for hotel guest which is a con for me. I dont want to have to not be able to use amenities at hotels I'm a guest of.

Great find”
What a wonderful hotel. From the moment you walk in you get a sense that this is a fun, different place from the normal corporate chains. The staff were excellent, the drinks and food were great, and the pool and pool bar was super fun. An unexpected perk was that they shuttle you for free within a certain radius of the hotel, so we were able to avoid walking in the heat and get to more places, faster. Can't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely look to stay with them again when we go back.

Weekend in St Pete”
Great updated boutique Florida Hotel, from the early 1900's with memories from the past yet updated with today's amenities. Friendly staff from front desk, to servers, bar tenders and housekeeping. We were greater by all staff. Facility has restaurant, lounge, bars inside and by the pool and a coffee shop. Sit or fine on the expansive front porch and enjoy the beAutiful Florida weather. Right downtown near every museum, restaurant and Vinoy Park. Great place to enjoy life !

The Hollander Hotel was the perfect location for my family gathering. The staff were so accommodating and considerate. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Great pool and front porch gathering areas. Food was excellent and shuttle to downtown very convenient. Highly recommend!!

These people are lovely. Staff is friendly and expedient. The rooms are comfortable and attractive in their eclectic way. There is a pool and a restaurant that actually is popular in St. Petersburg. Stay here and skip the overpriced chains.

Amazing staff”
Overall feeling was warm and welcoming. EACH and EVERY staff member was fabulous... incredibly friendly and amazingly helpful, from the front desk to the shuttle drivers and the wonderful ladies that took care of the rooms. Loved the quaint lobby and dining area. If you plan to stay in the St. Pete area, this is a great choice. I hope they can continue to keep their prices reasonable.

Fun hotel!”
I stayed for 1 night for a nearby conference and this was such a fun, funky place! Old building that's well maintained and super chic. The restaurant was great for dinner and drinks, awesome coffee shop for the morning! My room was right off of the lobby overlooking the outdoor bar and pool, so I was afraid it would be noisy but it wasn't at all! I had a great night's sleep. Rooms are small but adequate. I would definitely return!

Downtown Gem ”
Have stayed here multiple times. Hollander is a beautifully renovated boutique hotel. The staff are delightful and the shuttle service is a nice perk. The Tap Room serves good food at reasonable and the dessert case will tempt even the most disciplined. The lobby and veranda echo a genteel past. Just wish the whole premises were non-smoking.
