This is the second time we checked in at The Dixie Hollywood Hotel. Very good location and very handy to public transport specially the Metro. We took the Flyaway shuttle from LAX to Union Station and took the Red line metro and the hotel is right there next to Hollywood/Western Station. Ralphs, Ross and lots of eateries just across and plenty of places to shop and just two station to Dolby Theatre and Chines TLC theatre. Will definitely stay again when in Hollywood. Will recommend to friends.

The location of the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel is excellent, a 5 minute walk to the Chineese Theatre and Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd, and just behind the Hollywood Highland shopping centre with a wide range of shops and restaurants. The room was huge and quiet for such a central location. Staff were very helpful with booking excursions. The $10 a night parking is a bargain. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The Hollywood Hotel is a very nice hotel a few miles east of Hollywood proper. The rooms are well maintained, cleaned and nicely appointed. There is a fitness center, attractive outdoor pool and sauna. The complimentary breakfast is one of the better ones you will find. Finally the hotel has three Tesla Destination Chargers (Although one was not working the night I stayed there.)

Cute, great sized room. Clean, room had a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, tv and a/c. Comfortable beds and simple breakfast options in the lobby. 2 min walk from Hollywood & Highland/Dolby theatre/Hollywood Blvd which was fantastic. Also had a car and parking was easy (had read reviews about the parks being small but had no issues with a normal "full size" hire car, maybe tight with huge pick ups/4WD) Only issue was when there's an event on at the Hollywood bowl (also walking distance) that traffic was a nightmare between 5-8pm but that's a very small con. Great price and location. Would recommend!

After reading the reviews we decided to book this place for our stay in LA. So glad we did. From the moment we arrived the front desk clerk was very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were well equiped and clean. Continental breakfast was also part of the service and was nice to get the day started. The hotel was a walk away from downtown Hollywood attractions and convenience store. The metro was also within walking distance and made sightseeing very easy. Hollywood Orchid also offers flat rate shuttle suv service for return to airport. The desk staff can organise this. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were extremely happy with our stay here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for affordable mid range accommodation. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is cutely somewhat updated with Hollywood Stars painted on hotel and in each room. The staff was very friendly. I out my parents and in laws up for the long weekend and it was a clean basic room... Very large rooms and clean but it's not the ritz but for the money and location you can't beat it. When it comes to the basic motels in the area this is #1. Bring your own pillow, a towel and your own soaps and shampoo and you will really love the place as all other things are just great. Refrigerator in each room too! You are about 4 blocks to train and less than mile to the famous Hollywood and Highland tourist central and nightlife.

Although check-in was quick enough, there was an initial language barrier. The manager was adept enough with English but his non-America-born parents occasionally man the front desk and communication becomes slow when they are there. They are all very amiable though. I only had to cross the street (the hotel is at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea) to see the first stars of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Public transport is only a few steps away. Convenient CVS, restaurants and entertainment nearby. Room was comfortable enough with adequate internet but it is really the location that hooked me.

i stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights... and i love it.. we feel just like home... the room's great.. the receptionist (Brad) is very helpful.. the hotel is conviniently located in hollywood boulevard, just 2 stations from the walk of fame, hollywood museum and others in hollywood highland... and just 3 stations from universal city.. oh the best part from this hotel is the breakfast.. when i read "continental breakfast included" written on the hotel voucher, i just thought maybe yeah you know.. i didn't expect too much.. but hey, we got that super out of expextation kind of breakfast... i woke up early just to ate my bacon. well, i totally recommend hollywood downtowner inn.

It took us a while to get shuttle from LAX to this hotel in Hollywood Hills. We were tired but plesantly surprised. Very nice and large king size room with decent kitchen area too. Hotel is two blocks from Hollywood Blvd and the metro station. Heres a tip: you can take the metro to Universal City and then a free shuttle bus up the hill to Universal Studios. Metro is only $1.50!

Just for the bed and shower was needed Price was competitive and slightly less that other hotels in vicinity. Location is good for for taking Lyft or Uber to Hollywood clubs. Parking tight for Chev Colorado CrewCab Long Bed though sufficient room to turn around and back into last remaining space available. Best to approach the driveway from East, so fr 101 pass it and turn around and come back to it. Office staff was very pleasant mannered. I’d stay here again for sure.

I enjoyed my recent three day stay at the Liberty Hotel in Hollywood. My room, although a little dated or tired, was comfortable and very large with a little dining area and a two room bathroom area. It had all the normal amenities - TV, air conditioning, shampoos etc and although the WIFI didn't work in my room, I could access it easily from the lobby. There was no coffee pot or kettle in the room but coffee was available in the dining room anytime. A basic but ample breakfast was provided - cereal, toast, bagels, croissants, muffins, butter, jam, tea, coffee. It is located in a street directly behind the Hollywood Walk of Fame where lots of tour companies operate from, Chinese Theatre, Kodak Theatre, Madame Tussard's, Ripley's Believe it or not, Hop on Hop off Bus - all a 2 minute walk from the hotel. And the price was very reasonable.

The vibe here is so awesome. You feel like a business traveler who arrived at their new spread for the duration of your stay. A home away from home if you will. I felt as if this is where my work puts me when on a out-of-town work project. The only thing that sucks is the parking situation when checking in because in front of the hotel check-in there is no parking unless you have a passenger who can circle the block for you. Since I was solo I left the hazards on and they got me in and out in 15 minutes. Parking was about $30 which would be nice to know when booking but it's downtown and parking is like a flea market you have to look around for a good bargain. The bed was decent and there were little repairs that could have been improved on. Although to have your own place with a kitchen, living room and dining area it was the perfect set-up for an intimate party of four. Very cool vibe. And the rooftop views are well worth it.

I loved my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was in a great location within 2 blocks walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard. It is also down the road from the Hollywood Bowl. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel also supplies complimentary internet access which is a bonus. The restaurant within the hotel supplies breakfast and dinner at an additional cost which was quite efficient. I will recommend this hotel to all.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and neat the rooms were. They were well-equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee-maker. Free wifi in the rooms worked very well. Friendly, efficient service from the front desk. Centrally located, with the Big Bus Tour stop about 1 block away. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is about 10min walk away. Ralph's supermarket just across the road was so convenient. I bought breakfast cereal and milk and made my own breakfast in the room. But in the tiny hotel lobby, tea, coffee and waffles, bagels and toast are served for breakfast which seemed quite decent if you could find seating. If I had to complain, there could have been a kettle in the room (but we made do with the microwave), and some sort of shelf/surface in the bathroom to leave toiletries would have been nice. But overall, the positives outweighed the 2 negatives. Great value for money. I would recommend this hotel to friends, and would definitely use them myself again if I return to LA.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel/motel. The included self serve breakfast was more than adequate. The room had all the amenities you would expect in a more expensive hotel. The absolute winner for us was the ease of access to the area and all the major attractions. The Metro station is only a few metres away and on the RED line which will take you direct to the walk of fame, Universal Studios, Downtown, and Union Station. Great staff very helpful and friendly.

USA Hostels Hollywood was possibly the cleanest hostel I've stayed in USA. Location was right smack in the middle of Hollywood Highland & Hollywood Vine St RED line metro station which means it was proximate to the super touristy Hollywood Walk of Fame / Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard. Rooms were pretty clean and comfy, free bf every morning (needs more than pancakes and bread tho), free wifi and lotsa activities lined up every other day for those without a plan!

At the end of the day all u need is a comfortable bed, a clean room and a clean bathroom. That we got. U r not getting a big room where u can spread out. The tv wotked, the bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean-very clean actually, so that was great. We couldnt get wifi-didnt ask the desk for assistance, so not able to really comment on that. If u r staying in the Hollywood area, it is right there-super convenient and u can walk to everything. I would stay again and recommend, but if u r someone who will be spending lots of time in yor room., that time will be on your bed!! The guy at the deak was pleasant, too.

We were very surprised by the condition of the hotel. From what the internet told us it was supposed to be so so.. But it was great! The bed was comfy, there was a bathtub and the shower was amazing. The room had a fridge (that froze our water at first, but when we turned the temperature up it worked fine), a microwave, two huge mirrors and great air conditioning. The breakfast, that we had been told was only donuts and coffee, was just a little more than that. There were cereal, croissants, donuts, cookies, coffee, juice and tea (maybe not the best breakfast, but I bet there are less calories in that breakfast than in a breakfast at IHOP.) The internet was amazing! Nothing I have ever experienced anywhere but at home on a good day! When we got to the hotel we were met by the nicest receptionist ever. He helped ur arrange shuttle and tickets to places you'll have trouble getting to such as Disneyland and Six Flags, and gave us a discount! He helped find the right busses to the beach and gaves us tips on where to go shopping, what beach to visit, where to go on what day according to the amount of people and he let us store out luggage in the office while we waited for our shuttle to the airport. And the cleaning: Amazing! I was very anxious about bugs and spiders, but i did not see a single bug or spider inside or outside our room! The only negative thing I have to say about it is that there were a smell, not a bad smell, rather an unusual smell. And when I, by accident, turned the 'air condition' to heat there was an awful smell, but I suppose that won't be a problem since it is hot in LA. There was also a homeless woman camping right next to the hotel, and to get to the bus and Walk of Fame (which was pretty close) you had to walk past her. There was quite a bad smell, but there was no harm done. There is also a lot of traffic next to the hotel, but we had no problem sleeping at all. Btw there was a shoe outlet right next to the hotel! Shoe heaven! PS: IHOP!

Let me start by thanking the front office staff Gina and Anne who make a big difference by being so much welcoming and helpful. Location can’t be any better as this is situated bang in the middle of all the happening in Hollywood. Located on the world famous Sunset Blva, he hotel is just a hop skip and jump to the Hollywood Blvd that includes the TCL Chinese Theatr, Dolby Theatre, El Caption and the Hollywood Walk of fame. Breakfast at the hot l which is complimentary is sumptuous and of great value. Of course if one wants a luxurious breakfast, the are plenty of options around the hotel location. Overall, great location, staff and amenities. Would certainly recommend.

As a solo female traveller, it can be difficult to narrow down on a hostel in Hollywood. But this place was the best! It's extremely close to Hollywood Boulevard and TCL Chinese Theatre (a 3-minute walk). The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, and always ready with some helpful advice. They have a DIY breakfast, but all the printed instructions are pretty clear. The waffles were delicious! Just remember to wash your dishes after you use them. All in all, I'm glad I chose Orange Drive Hostel, and would definitely recommend it!

It was a very pleasant stay at the W Hollywood Hotel. We had nothing we could complain about. Staff are friendly and good services. Food and drinks were spot on. Great convenient location to pretty much everywhere. Nice pool with a view and the famous rooftop bar made our evenings even better. The best part of the bedroom that we liked about was the choice of the beautiful sounds of oceans, crickets, waterfall and dolphins!

Greats service in the restaurant particularly our server (Jo Marmole #3024)’ at The Hollywood Roosevelt Public Kitchen & Bar. We ate there twice during our 1 night stay and Jo knew we had a tight timeframe to catch a flight out on our second visit to the restaurant (Saturday night) therefore, she paid special attention to get our meals out quickly and even providing advice about how long our transit time to LAX would be at that time of night. Give this young lady a pay increase! Also, we had booked a Cabana room by the pool (Friday night) where the hotel hosts has a DJ set which the reception staff advised it can be a bit noisy until 2am therefore, we were given an option to move to a quieter room which we took up. We really enjoyed every minute at this hotel. We arrived to a beautiful, clean, fresh scented lobby. The front desk rep David, was so professional and friendly. Our room was so clean and came equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, iron board w/ iron, blow dryer, and even Pantene in the bathroom. A major plus is the beds were the most comfortable I'd ever slept on. Our room was in the back of the building facing the hollywood hills, which is breathtaking. They have a big pool and spa that look divine. The hotel is only a block away from the Hollywood Bowl, which made us feel safe when walking back at night. Plus it's about a 5 minute walk to Hollywood Boulevard. I definitely recommend this hotel. The location, friendliness, and price is unbeatable. We'll stay here again next time were in town.

The staff couldn't have been nicer (from the front desk people to the parking attendants to the cleaning staff). We had a great view looking out at all the activity on Highland. Part of being at a hotel in Hollywood has to be having a view of what's going on. :)) The hotel was centrally located for all we were in town to do, including getting back to Burbank Airport to fly out.
