You get what you pay for”
The location of the hostel is good as it it close to Kings Cross station. The rooms are very tiny therefore there isn't a lot space for luggage and there are no lockers in the room (you have to pay).

Very Crowded Room”
12 people in a room that would have been better suited for 6 or 4. Beds are tiny. Had a nice sun sun window. Breakfast had a surprisingly large number of jams. Wifi worked.

It's okay aside from the other customers.”
Location is good, however some visitors were too loud. I couldn't sleep at all. I wish it were quieter.

Great- cooking facilities, free food, safe rooms, good location ”
I wish that the other people would store their bags in a less messy way

Very small and crowded room.. not even space for your luggage!! Triple beds are like coffins.. Few and small bathrooms and you have to pay to lock your stuff..

Good experience”
The location was very convenient that I just took 3 mins walk to the train station and tube. The staffs were nice and helpful. The facilities were simple but enough for a few-nights stay. However, there is no lift that it is not friendly to heavy-suitcase-travellers. Actually, you get what you pay, and this hostel is particularly suitable for young people or backpackers. Overall, I stayed in this hostel for one night and really enjoyed it.

It is so so”
It's cheap but not value for money. The space is small, not every floor has separated toilet, everything about money and one of the staffs is really mean.

Just OK, there are way better hostels in the vicinity”
The room was extremely small; beds were cramped and there's not enough space to put my items. It wasn't thoroughly cleaned and bathrooms were not on all floors. On the other hand, location was great as it's near St. Pancras/King's Cross, wifi was relatively fast and the staff members were friendly. Prior to my stay at Journeys, I stayed in a hostel which was within walking distance (I wanted to extend but they were already full) but the experience, facilities, cleanliness, etc. were much better... for almost the same price! Journeys is good for a few nights stay only, but I would probably not come back.

A Hamster Cage”
The kitchen and "social rooms" are in a basement that gets really *really* stuffy, really *really* quickly. The three tier beds are fine if you're on the bottom floor where it's cool, but I was on the top bunk in a room with no AC and no open windows. The staff have done a fine job with what they've got, and they went out of their way to make my trip pleasant. All in all, if you're looking for a party time hostel, sure. Book this one. But as a longterm traveler, this is far from te backpacker experience. I moved to Walrus and had a great time.
