It has been an amazing experience at Oanh’s place. Truly a home-stay!!! We felt more than welcomed. Oanh is a careful and extremely kind host, a women full of energy and sympathy. She will provide you with the best Vietnamese food you’ll ever taste and make you feel at home with simplicity and elegance. Take time to have a chat, feel free to ask questions: at Ngoc Sang you will learn more about Vietnamese people then in any metropole ore museum. If you want to experience how Vietnamese people from the area of the Mekong-delta spend their lives, stay at Ngoc Sang! Unfortunately we were a little bit in a hurry, we could only stay for 48 hours. I would definitely recommend much more! You will be provided with bikes to explore An Binh’s island nature and its characteristic little paths trough the bushes and trees. Moreover you will have all what is necessary to feel comfortable, including an excellent wifi connection and air conditioning. Considered that you are in the middle of the countryside… there is simply everything you need, nothing is missing:) For us, Ngoc Sang itself has been THE attraction of Vinh Long. The market is for sure an interesting place to go, and the boat trip we unfortunately missed must be fantastic. Perfect homestay experience”

I stayed at Oanh‘s place for two nights and everything was great. While the house is only 5 min away from the ferry station, it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood; right by a little canal with some hammocks overlooking it. The house is extremely clean and the facilities were good. Oanh is a great cooker and I ended up having dinner there both nights, get ready for a 3/4-dish meal! She was also very helpful with every aspect of the trip from pick-up/drop-off to organizing boat trips. Her mum and daughter are so sweet. I also really appreciated talking to her after breakfast/ dinner and knowing more about Vietnam as well as her personal story. Would come back for sure!

One of the loveliest places I have ever stayed at”

It is definitely one of the loveliest places I have stayed at in my life. It is a real homestay where you stay with the family in their house. The owner Oanh is a truly kind and sweet person, and together with her sweet mom they make you feel very welcome. The dinner Oanh cooked for us was outstanding, with the fish being very fresh and delicious. They also offer bicycles for free to stroll on the beautiful rural An Binh island. Highly recommend. An authentic experience in rural Mekong”

Staying at Ngoc Sang means escaping from the buzz of all Vietnam to enter in a paradisiac rural atmosphere. The house is just by the water, in a dream location that makes you willing to stay for ages! The adorable owners of the house are super cute, mindful, and friendly - and the cook delicious traditional meals! It is the perfect place to explore the Mekong area (with free bikes and a great boat tour) in a really authentic way.
I liked every part of it. Just a note, two of the four rooms are more exposed to the water, which means more humidity and noise from the outside (but the sound of the water and the birds is pleasant). But they are equipped with a well-functioning fan and anti-mosquito curtain. It is definitely a unique experience!

Everything was perfect! Oanh is so nice, kind and a very good cook! We had nice talk and she also help us to take the bus back to Ho Chi Minh. The place is so quiet and peaceful, people are very nice there :)
The only « bad » thing even if it’s not bad, is the bed it’s a bit to hard for me

Great peaceful location, authentic homestay. Oanh was extremely friendly and hospitable, and cooked us incredible food. We had access to bikes and a motorcycle, and she helped us book a boat tour and bus transfers, and also gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat at.

The location is amazing. Take the bike and go exploring. Its unbelievable how beautiful and wild/chaotic/organized the area is. All family members are super nice and have a good heard. And the food is amazing. I arrived very late and they saw how hungry i was so they made me quick a soup.
