Right in the heart of Phnom Penh”
I've stay at Best Central Point Hotel every time I go to Phnom Penh. It's affordable, clean, great staff, 24/7 reception that doesn't lock the door at night (so no need to wake anyone up in the middle of the night if you come in late like many others in PP). It also has an elevator which is not too common in smaller hotels in PP. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. Every room has a mini fridge, a kettle, snacks for purchase, and a TV in every room. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and everything is really clean. The internet is fast and available throughout the whole property. The staff is very nice and helpful, most speak English. I even forgot an external harddrive once and they kept it for me until the next time I came back. And it's right in the middle of everything, 2 blocks from Riverside, 2 blocks from the Royal Palace, and on the same street there are restaurants and bars open til late. I definitely recommend staying here.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you so much to take your time to write a review of our hotel Best Central Point Hotel. Our location could make you convenient getting around within walking distance to the highlights of Phnom Penh city such as national monuments, school, market especially just a few minutes’ walk to the Royal Palace and riverside...The sweet smile and helpfulness of our staff is a catalyst to start a good new day....it`s authentically the Khmer way. We are delighted you enjoyed your time with us at Best Central Point Hotel. We definitely welcome you again staying with us on the next trip. Sincerely yours, Mrs. Dyna Chhoun Operation Manager
Great service, value for money; a good comfortable stay”
Unless you have 5star-hotel expectations, you'll most likely find Hometown Suite a very pleasant stay. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful; service is prompt; the room, though very small, was comfy and clean -- no complaints for the price. (The bidet/toilet hose was a bit too high pressure though! But that's probably just one or two rooms) Really the only thing I would rate less than stellar is the food, especially the coffee; which is weak in comparison to the standard black coffee found at streetside stalls. But this should not deter you -- there are plenty food options within a minutes' walking distance. Overall, i would definitely recommend Hometown Suite to friends visiting Phnom Penh next.

Exceptional”
The hotel is very close to every major tourist site, the staff is incredibly nice! They won't put pressure on you to book a tour or whatever, you just live your journey as you want There is a pool table, good breakfast. As for the room, it's very clean, with aircon, fridge, flat tv. We had a great stay and we will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Phnom Penh The hotel is also a pickup point for bus trip to go to Siem Reap

The Best Hotel on 172 Street!”
Firstly if you are going to stay in Phnom Penh, the you have to stay on 172 street, its chill, it has the right balance of restaurants, shops and hotels and if you are going to stay somewhere it ha to be at the Hometown Suite Hotel. Great staff, clean rooms, a bathroom with a property shower (sort of), A/C, plus they have a small restaurant that serves everything you could want from Khmer to burgers, pool table, it has that hostel vibe without the testosterone and the bed bugs! I would recommend this place to the budget traveller or the mature back packer that is looking for quality without spending more than you want.

Excellent Value Hotel”
The hotel is well located in downtown Phnom Penh very close to the Royal Palace and the riverfront. The room was quite large and airy with a large western bathroom. The room featured a refrigerator, safe and an LCD television with many channels. The hotel staff is exceptionally pleasant and the room was kept very clean. I stayed in the Hometown Suite Hotel previously and extended my stay on this trip. The Hometown Suite Hotel is highly recommended.

It will be taken care of 🙂”
The location is on the edge of downtown Phnom Penh....quiet, yet not more than a 10 minute walk or five minute Tuk Tuk to all major points of interest. Accommodations are inviting and the professional staff equally welcoming. The restaurant serves fine and inexpensive local and western dishes. Front desk is always staffed, ensuring that shoukd you have any need......it will be taken care of. 🙂

Relatively expensive but nice enough”
We struggled to find accommodation last minute in Phnom Penh so had to spend a little more than normal. I'm not sure this was worth it. It was in a great location close to attractions and bars/restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean with standard hotel facilities. The view was of an air conditioning unit which was unfortunate. For the money, I think you could probably do better.

Great place”
I really enjoyed my stay here it's one of my favorite hotels to stay in Phnom Penh it's not next to all the bars even though there is some bars on the street but it's not the busiest part of town but it's not that far away it's a good walking distance but I really enjoyed my stay the room was clean the hotel is up-to-date and staff is great

Nice place. Friendly staff”
This was the second place we stayed in Phnom Penh. It was conveniently located on one of the back packer streets. Lots of bars around and close to the Royal palace. The room was huge! The bed was comfortable. And the bathwater nice as well. The shower even had a divider separating it from the rest of the bathroom which is nice for this part of the world. The only downside was there were little ants crawling over the TV table which was a bit off putting but seems to be a pretty standard occurrence in South east Asia. I would recommend for the budget conscious traveller.

Perfect”
Best value for money in asia! For a price of a hostel you get a big room with great shower, a bit old like everything in Phnom Penh but has everything you need. Staff is really amazing and helpfull.

Good Insider Deal”
I always stay at the Hometown Hotel when I visit Phnom Penh, they are consistantly reliable, they are centrally located and offer very good value for money. No negatives, you get what you pay for.

Brilliant for the price”
We loved this place, found a deluxe room for a steal, was always clean and tidy after a day tromping around Phnom Penh. On a very good street for cheap beer and good food, must try the fresh noodle place at the end of the street. Would stay again.

The staff saved our stay in Phnom Penh ”
We didn’t particularly like the area, or the city in general but there are plenty of average bars and restaurants near to the hotel if you don’t want to stray too far, (all of the city is essentially the same wherever you stay). However, the staff bent over backwards for us. We had to book a few more nights whilst waiting for our visa, in that time, they helped us contact the embassy with their own mobile phones, print our visas off and were always ready to help, greeting us daily. They also arranged a safe tuk tuk driver to take us to the killing fields, which was a must for us in this city - watch your bags and phones! Besides this, rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Hot showers, although a little sewage smell in the bathroom. Rooms were cleaned daily. A little haven for us in Phnom Penh.

Perfect stay”
The hotel is near to tourist spots and restaurants. If you will be staying to phnom penh for 1 day like us, this is definitely a great place to stay. Hassle - free stay serving breakfast!

Big Rooms with Breakfast”
Everytime I stay in Phnom Penh for a night, I make sure I stay with Hometown Hotel. They have very good location with lots of restaurants in the area. They also serve good plated breakfast (fruits, bacon, egg, bread). The rooms are big and have very good air-conditioning although their bathroom needs renovation especially the tiles.

Very good”
Love Hometown Suite Hotel. The staff is great, polite & friendly. I also like most things about it. The only one thing, which is very important for most travelers is the weak WiFi signal. I’m not talking about the speed of the WiFi which is adequate. In the rooms for my last few stays is not useable inside the room. This trip was especially bad where I had to go out into the 4th floor lobby & even the main lobby to get things done. That is the only drawback and I really hope that management consider boosting the WIFI signals so that the customers can work from the comfort of their room instead of the hot lobbies. Aside from the WiFi issue, I would love to stay here for all my future travel to Phnom Penh. But to be honest this is a big factor. Thanks to the staff for the pleasant stay.

Brilliant budget hotel”
Hometown hotel is very good value. Placed directly on street 172 where excellent cafes and bars are on your doorstep. It is a short walk to the riverside. The staff are welcoming and Snowy does everything she can to make you feel at home. Although a three star hotel there were hot showers and a decent bathroom. (Toiletries were a little scant so you may want to take your own). I didn't eat at the hotel as there was too much choice elsewhere but. Breakfast is available if you want it.i will definitely return here when I visitPhnom Penh again.

Good place for the budget”
Great place to stay close to Riverside and Royal palace. Many restaurants in the area and good staff. Older yet clean. Not the cheapest place you can find in Phnom Penh but great value. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Nice hotel”
Location is good and easy access to national museum, royal palace, mekong river and city center of phnom penh. Bed is comfortable and food is served so fast and also delicious. Also, staff are very accomodating especially when we have problem with our bus pick up though we bought the ticket on a different agency. However, we have encountered some problem with aircon but fixed right away. Recommend to put wastebasket on toilet area because the room we stayed hasnt and we makeshift used plastic bags.
