Would not recommend ”
Was a good deal, but would not recommend. Probably the worst place I have ever stayed. Cigarette burns all over everything, stains all over everything (including the ceilings, walls, curtains). Check out time through agoda was wrong as well.

Factual, honest review”
-Room surfaces had visible spots and debris. -Only one towel provided. -Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room. -window was cracked. -they incentivize guests to leave a 4 or 5 star review -I was asked suspicious questions about my vehicle by loitering guests -there is an unannounced $100 deposit at the time of checkin. In my personal opinion, the other guests were of a very rough nature. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Better homeless shelters”
I saw two rooms before I left. In the first, the door looked like it had been kicked in and the heater didn’t work. The second smelled like cigarette smoke and the bed linens were gross. I still have not received any confirmation regarding a refund. Come on mgmt ! You can do better! I will say that Keisha was as accommodating as she could be.

Not what I expected ”
Honestly speaking my experience here was just not as great as I thought it would be. My room was full of flies, dead insects, cobwebs, and the entire room smelled like cigarettes smoke. This room was not properly prepared/ cleaned, but I did get a different room. This totally gave me a bad impression of the whole complex and the location. The Second room was much cleaner but there were still flies and the hot water was not working. Overall, my experience here was very poor and most of the time I was staying here,I wished I had booked a different hotel.

dirty, seedy, frankly terrifying”
- Door was loose on hinges like somebody had tried to break in. - Walls were covered in scary stains. - Beds were not made but each had sheets and a single mismatched thin blanket loosely draped over. - - One bed was missing pillowcases. - Smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, and ceiling lamp were all taped up in black plastic trash bags. - Bathroom faucet didn't work and sprayed water everywhere. - Heater didn't work so we spent the night freezing in our coats (only 1 thin blanket each) I wish I'd read at the reviews of this place before booking. It cost us $100/night and was the worst hotel I've ever stayed. Earlier that week, we stayed at another hotel down the street that was only a few $ more and it was much nicer.

Unsanitary & Unsafe Conditions ”
I only stayed here because it was paid for in advance & the return policy was 3-5 business days before the funds would be successfully returned to my account. I was in town for a 5 day certification class that I was obligated to attend,( also paid for in advance ) & so my funds were limited until my next pay date. The location was beyond unsanitary & I had no choice but to purchase Clorox disinfectant wipes to sanitize/ disinfect appropriately. .. Handles to doors, countertops, microwave, fridge, walls, etc... even the filters to the heating/ cooling unit I rinsed & wiped clean & it appeared had never been cleaned prior. The towels (which you had to request) had stains & hair embedded into them. In addition, you had to request bedding, toilet paper, & trash bags which is standard in any location. There was no maid service or attention to any detail during my stay. I purchased a candle to keep the air smelling clean to the best of my abilities. I initially arrived Sunday & checked out on Friday morning and was literally counting down the days for my departure. I slept with my gun loaded and right at my side each night just to rest assured & sleep better. Between the drug addicts / crackheads & homeless people the back & forth and the noise went on throughout the night & you felt you had to keep a close eye on your vehicle. Apparently they have a contact with the homeless people in the area (which I believe is a beautiful thing) however unfortunately it comes at a very high cost because the Hometown Studios Denver- Airport location fails to complete to standards due to the lack of cleanliness throughout. It seems because of the kind of people they have a contract with, they feel they have to lower their standards on every level...The environment alone was 100% unsatisfactory, unsafe, & unsanitary. I would never recommend this location nor will I ever stay here again. It was so bad... Do not stay here, you will highly regret it.

Unsanitary & Unsafe Conditions ”
UNACCEPTABLE... Horrible unsanitary conditions!..Can’t believe there is a $100 deposit for this location. Not recommended for a female traveling alone by any means. When I arrived I noticed a lot of drug addicts & homeless people surrounding the location. I was sent to a room behind the front office #211....No proper signage directing you to the stairway to even get upstairs & it all immediately appeared very sketchy, people just parked in vehicles sitting there doing I don’t know what exactly. I felt so uncomfortable that I made sure to have my gun by my side & loaded. When I stepped into the room it was bad, large burnt holes in the comforters, stains everywhere, filthy un- swept floors w/ visible dirt & miscellaneous garbage throughout. The fridge was dirty, stains on the walls and doors. Also there were no towels or toilet paper in the room or trash receptacle. I immediately went to the office & demanded a refund unless they had a much better option that wasn’t hidden in the back, facing the front parking lot in a more visible safe location because from what I had seen it was unacceptable. The man apologized, stated a refund could take 3 plus days depending on your bank for funds to return to your account & so because of limited funds I was sent to a room on the 3rd floor facing the visible front parking area (he said that was all he had). Unfortunately the elevator was not in service so that was inconvenient carrying the luggage & personal items up & down the stairs... The stairway smelled horrible like drugs & were super filthy with garbage throughout as well. The room felt somewhat safer towards the front however the pillows were horribly stained, no towels or toilet paper available once again & simply appeared it was not cleaned appropriately with dirty floors , fridge, walls, doors, etc... because it was almost midnight, I had traveled about 5-6 hours for a scheduled training class I had to be at @ 8am... I settled for the night, but was highly disappoi

I've been travelling for over 25 years and I've never seen anything like this before. The room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the drapes was dirty the floor needed cleaning. There was homeless people milling around outside. I changed from one room to another and it was the same thing. Dirty room no comforter on the bed. I spoke with the receptionist, she apologized and said she has had the same complaint of dirty rooms from 3 other guests. while I was making my complaint another guest was there to make a complaint too. The Owner/Management of this place needs to fix this quickly.

Don't go there ”
No shuttle to airport. Taxi 40 each way to airport. Could not shower as it was not clean, and floor not swept. Broken furniture in room. People drinking and loud outside of room and in stairwell. Slept very little with lights on. No one answered the telephone until after 10:30pm. No coffee in room or front. Walked up 2 flights of stairs with luggage, elevator Broken and i have asthma. Cart of trash outside of room. If I hadn't requested a blanket before going up I would have been cold. They requested a deposit. Not advertised. Several people in front of me at check in were already in and many complaints. Other people who stayed told me they were afraid during night. Would not refund my money or talk to booking agent.

You can't expect much when the price is $61.61 but usually it's clean! The proximity to the train station was great. The hotel was disgustingly dirty. The floors in the halls were gross: gum, vomit, food. There were no placards showing us which rooms were down which hallways which was increasingly annoying after going down now hallway after another but this is a serious problem for people trying to evacuate or for fire personnel trying to find victims. The room had a kitchenette which I was surprised to see but I probably wouldn't have used it even if I didn't have to buy a pan/pot from the front desk. There were long black hairs all over the pillows and sheets, there was an ominous stain on the bedspread, the drawer in the nightstand wouldn't stay shut, the nightstand was covered in water damage, the floors hadn't been swept or mopped in probably weeks, the shower was stained darker colors on the white plastic, and the bathroom sink was unclean.
