Weird smell in room, the elevator was sketchy and the heater didn't work (it was 47 outside, so that really mattered). The room was clean... ish, really it just looked old and maybe needs a thorough cleaning and painting, but for the price it was ok.

got there at 11am, clerk refused to check me in until 3pm, when i returned same clerk was there and asked me to wait until the other clerk who was running late got there, finally got checked at about 3:45pm, air conditioner noise did not help with sleeping, pillows smell cigarettes, towels were children size, like i said if that how much you can afford and is a short stay maybe

You Get What You Pay For... Sometimes Less ”

In order of discovery. Upon arrival... * Gas station in the parking lot. * "Lobby" is one of the motel rooms. * A man's underwear in the bushes right outside. * "Something" smeared on the inside door of the elevator. * Hallways stunk. Into the room... * Large puddle of water on the floor. The towel turned black mopping it up. The floors were very dirty. * Cigarette burn holes in the comforters. * Toilet seat and lid hanging off. Roaches crawling on the floor. * Dirty walls, lamp shades, ceiling. * Bathroom vent covered in filth and clogged with decades of dust. * Outside lights so bright and window shades that don't block anything, I thought it was morning when I awoke only to realize it was 2:30a. So, I wrote this review. I know "you get what you pay for", but this hotel wasn't that cheap. I'd expect this in a $40 motel. I should have read the reviews. I'll be checking out early and finding something appropriate, even if I have to spend a few more dollars.

Unbelievable - No SOAP”

Besides looking for Crossland Economy Studios, the actual name is HomeTowne Studios Orlando, which after 15 mins going back and for, finally arrived. Though the unexpected keep on coming along, no front or visible front desk. Once I found it, it was closed either by being Sunday, or the time I arrived. There was a sign stating to contact personnel using a phone located just across the "front desk". That was easy, the personnel at that time responded promptly, and helped me with the key and instructions to park and where the room was. To access the 2nd floor, the stairway and the area was really dirty, and stinky. Once in the room, I found out that there was no soap. No soap, they had run out of soap that day, that was the explanation and the poor excuse. 'Having a gas station across the parking lot, did not help either, It ran out of soap too. Not a surprise, knowing that the "hotel/project/extended stay" lodge had run out of it too.
