Great Location”
Soundproofing is very poor, always hear other guest walk around and talking. Share bathroom is clean. Breakfast is ok with that price. Homey Guesthouse has a great location which all restaurant, massage center, supermarket and other just in walking distance. Overall if dun mind share bathroom and the sound, this guesthouse can be consider.

Cheap homestay next to the bus terminal”
It's walking distance from bus terminal, so good location for one night stay. Rooms are very small, but have air con and when i was there it was really quiet so managed to have good rest. It's fairly clean, good wifi and nice common area with sofas. Many restaurants and supermarkest around. Not much to complain considering the price.

Very small room”
The price for the room is dirt cheap but the hotel rooms are very very small and bathroom is to be shared. Suitable for overnight traveller and backpacker. There are many construction workers staying in that hotel. Not suitable for families. There are many ammenities surrounding this hotel. Food is very convenient.

They promised breakfast but...”
This place is far from the city center but near the bus station. Good place to stay if you need to spend a night before taking another bus. Rooms are small, really small, almost just the bed but it's clean at least. They advertise they provide free breakfast but the breakfast is not enough for all the guests, just a bag of bread for all their rooms, and once it's finished they didn't want yo put more so I had to be persistent about it and I finally got it.

The room for 2 is merely small. For muslim, you can pray near the common room. The receptionist was helpful. The wall between room however is not that soundproof, so noises from neighbouring room can be a little distracting. They have small pantry. Do bring personal toiletries.

Tidy & good location with great hang-out balcony”
The rooms are too small and not sound proof, but the decorations are simply-nice and clean. Beds are good. Tidy toilet with high-pressure shower & shampoo is provided. Balcony is great idea for traveller to take fresh air to avoid small room. living room, small kitchen and prayer room are also provided. A lot of local (worker of oil & gas company) stay here. Toast is served from 7a.m till 10a.m, (be remind to take breakfast at early; they got nothing after 9a.m)

located near to the town centre and very convenient for food. the room size is very small but for the price you pay it's dirt cheap. it is very suitable for backpackers who is looking for an overnight stay and moving on the next day.

a cheap and cheap hostel”
the room is basically like a tin design,with no window, no any extra space. the room is just cheap, with nice air-con, and clean bed and wall, but somehow the sound proof is the too weak. especially when u sleep near to main room or toilet/bathroom. it is kind of torture that u can hear watever sound outside the room, even the snoring sound from next door, becuase the wall in between is just a paper-thin aluminum sheet. beside, most of the guest are local iban who like to be naked walk around, or talk loud around.

At least the corridor & washroom are clean enough. Friendly reception. Great location, can access to anywhere. Essential shops & banks are just nearby. Somehow, Bed-sheet got little bit stained... its kinda noisy during weekend night time due to some speedster bikes & cars racing in the high way and the roadside. I got an earbud so i can somehow get along with.

A family style house”
This is a two story house with three bedrooms in a middle class neighbourhood in Miri. It would be difficult to access with out a car. A city bus does go buy several times a day, but where the bus stop is is not clear. The house itself is adequate. It was not particularly clean when we arrived (linens on the beds were clean) The bathroom is basic, a shower and toilet in one room, no sink or mirror, a bucket to aid in flushing. There is one sink in the house, in the kitchen. The internet is adequate, but not fast, the kitchen has an oven, which is a big plus. The living areas are quite comfortable. Below the house is a nice porch swing and a basket ball net that the kids have enjoyed. All in all, a basic, but adequate home stay in Miri.

Very good for a 2 star hotel, friendly staff and a good choice for a back-backer. Though it can be improved by providing more pleasant ambiance in the room by repairing the ceiling holes, broken locker door and also the not functional reading lamp

Didn't make booking and arrived as a walkin, could at least make the reservation then and there to get a discount. Room was small but enough for me. Warm showers, wehay! Wifi signal very good throughout

the location is ok, near the two big supermarket and a lot of restaurant, it's convenient of cause but what the bad thing is the room is very small and too noisy , as long as the next door have a little sound , i can hear that in my room clearly , that's really a nightmare for the guest who want a good sleep.
