Homie KL Hostel is a good spot, their lounge area feels like a cafe if you are on the road and are working off your laptop. Lots of dope hawker food around, walking distance. The owner is super nice and wonderful made lots of food recommendations to eat in KL. I was on a food journey.

Home from home”
We loved it here. From the friendly staff to the cleanliness of the place. Breakfast was good. Tea, coffee and orange juice. Toast, omelet and some jams. I loved the help yourself policy to this place. Could grab a coffee with a little treat when ever I liked and no one took the mick out of it by taking too much. Chrisps, buiscuits and prawn crackers. The rooms were spacious and beds comfy. Covers were changed after a few days which was great. Showers and toilets were seperate but this was no issue as was never crowded. Internet was okay in the rooms and very good in common area, which again, were uncrowded. A small walk (5-10 mins depending on pace) to trains which got us to anywhere within 15 minutes. There are a few restaurants to choose from around the hostel. I thought I missed breakfast one morning but the lovely staff allowed me to have it even though I was late, just goes to show their commitment to hosting. Definitely would return no doubt. Awesomely good location, friendly staff, clean and cozy”
Check-in late night but the staff is still waiting patiently. The hostel is easy to find on the front shop row. Nearest train is Chan Sow Lin which is within walking distance - a few stations and you will reach Masjid Jamek interchange to KLSentral and so. Very convenient. Nearby is 7-11 and Speed mart. Food is no issue. Coffee and tea is free, just grab one from the bottle and soak in hot water. Owner has nicely prepared a corner for coffee break and food where you can sit and enjoy chit-chat with friends while enjoying your coffee! Bathroom is sharing but clean. Overall f to rate from 1 to 5, an indefinite 5 from me.

What a cozy place to stay”
Just like it's name.. This place is really homey.. Pleasantly comfortable and cozy.. They have clean bed, pillow, blanket and also provide towel.. Separate toilets and bathrooms.. I do love the room and all lounge, it is nice decorated.. They have a secure door also and locker with key provided.. Akid is a very nice person.. He will explain everything you need, he also gave some recommended place for visiting..

Exceptional”
The staff was all very pleasant and the space is perfect if you need to do work on the road. I felt like I was in a cafe except I was able to work in my pjs all day. Just like home.

Good hostel”
A great hostel for travelers who want some peace and solitude time to themselves at the end of a day. Family run business, warm and approachable staff who made me felt like home, nice and decent breakfast served at the beginning of each day and it's of walkable distance from the train station. However, it might not be the best place to meet new people.

Has potential to be nice ”
The main reception area looks nice and you can tell they've tried to decorate everywhere to make it look better. However there are other things which should have been prioritised over this. The bed were uncomfortable as the mattress was so thin on top of a metal bed frame. We knew there was no windows but the Aircon was so loud that we sometimes had to sleep without so it was pretty hot. Bathroom facilities were fine and the kitchen was ok, but could do with a communal fridge. Our main issue was the attitude of the daytime staff member. We felt very unwelcome and was constantly ignored. The hostel doubles up as a cafe in the afternoon so lots of local workers come in, yet when sat with the menu we didn't even get acknowledged nevermind served so didn't bother in the end. This was a shame because the other staff who were there in the evenings were nice. Also we were under the impression that we'd get bread and jam etc for breakfast but when we asked the woman she just laughed and said no (she didn't even offer the breakfast menu which we didn't know existed by this point). Overall as it stands I would not stay here again, but with improvements (on basic facilities and staff attitude) it could be a good place to stay.

Im very disappointed”
I check in around 11pm, press the door bell no one open the door and need to call the owner, and I book 4 dormitory female room, end up give me 8 dormitory female room, I ask the staff why my book is not the same as I book, he told me today we are FULL and our manager try to open the 8 dormitory room for sell, and u pay is cheaper price, he ask me u still want to stay, I reach Kl so late, how can this hostel service like this!! This make me so sad, he give me this answers. I don't understand why agoda system still can make the booking!!!! don't even prepare done the pillow, towel and keys when was check in, bed were uncomfortable as the matters was so thin on top of a metal bed frame. Room air con sound was so loud, I can't sleep the whole night and with the next door guest (small kids ) play around, staff not even go to stop them (maybe staff tired). Overall as it stands I won't not stay here again.

직원들이 굉장히 친절해요. 아무래도 위치가 조금은 외곽이다 보니 저는 개인적으로 붐비지 않아서 좋았어요. 그렇다고 시내가 먼 것도 아니고 전철 타면 10분 이내로 어디든 갈 수 있어 좋았어요!
