Not as you’d expected :(”
I’d like to honestly say about place. First, the room is extremely small, the wooden cracks because of leaky water which came from the bathroom, both bathroom and bedroom are pretty old and smells weird. Moreover, the bathroom slide door sounds a very loudly when the door slides. Even there’s a daily routine house made but do not expect much, she just only change your towel ,not anything else. The last thing i expect to be a good thing for my trip in Hongkong is a worm welcome from the reception staffs, but i also feel disappointed. The staff (a man) always seems busy with his computer. When i asked him anything, he seems angry and frustrated all the times ! (I also experiences a very frustrated and angry bus driver when my octopus card suddenly empty and i ask him how much should i pay, but he just shook his head and angry me, what!) Finally, this place make my trip fails so badly :(
Room - Just like the other reviews, room is actually small but we don't have problem with that. Facilities - Bedsheet/Towel isn't replaced daily but the trash are cleaned. Staff - She is nice and friendly (knows English). Good thing is that they let us leave our baggage even after we checked out. Location - Homy Inn is actually split into two and we ended up going on the wrong one and there's actually no one to assist us there. Main one is actually pretty good, lots of foods and restaurants outside and pretty accessible by MTR. During our stay, the place was actually quiet unlike other reviews on other hotels where they can hear other's talk outside the street. Also, one or two elevators are only woking but there's no queue. Overall experience: We got a great time staying here.
OK FOR A SHORT STAY”
This place is ok and comfortable. Quiet, well located, personal efficient. Can store luggage. Room a bit small. They might clean better.
I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, the first night was fine. When it came to second night, my leg feel itchy and pain in the middle of night, and both of my legs were full of BUG BITES.
Small and basic with great location”
The basic room is a very small room with very little space to move about - it was difficult for me (with a 24" luggage to enter the room and close the door as the space between the door and the bed is just enough to open the door. The facilities seem a bit worn down too. There is no heater in the room, though you can loan one from the counter. Staff is helpful and responsive when I approached them for assistance.
5 min by foot from mtr tst exit p3 by lift. Near tst attraction by foot. They provided water dispenser. But room a little bit too small for 2 person and a liitle bit noise at night because in front of the building there was a bar.
room is very small , facilities are limited to toliet and small toliet , but if you are looking”
room is very small , facilities are limited to toliet and small toliet, but if you are looking for a just a night sleep this is perfect for you as the air conditioning maybe small but comfortable for you to use. Definitely worth the money .
Good value for money”
The room is very basic although there's a daily turn down service, change of towels and slippers. The location is great as its near the stations and bus stops. Pubs and restaurants are also just down the building. The staff are also helpful and honest. On the day of our check in, they overcharge us without me realising and they sent me a note on my room door to see them to get my refund.
Budget friendly and near Tsim Sha Tsui”
I love the location but dont expect much about the facilities, typical hostel in hongkong which is inside an old building with small elevator. The bed and pillows are comfortable, small T&B with perfectly working water heater, a small cabinet for bag and luggage (just enough), aircon is good, they have drinking water dispenser, let's you borrow an adaptor if you forgot to bring one, change the towels and clean the room everyday, allows you to leave your bag if you have a night flight. Just dont expect too much, but very good for budget travelers
Value for the money. Good location!”
I stayed here many times for business trips and layovers. This place is a lot better than Chungking Masion and Mirada Masion budget guesthouses because it's less crowded. Elevators usually have no lines. Over all good place to stay for budget travelers like me.
Excellent first time solo traveler experience”
I was pleasantly surprised with my 1 bedroom accommodation for what I paid. Hong Kong is an expensive city but Homy Inn allows you an affordable stay. The staff was friendly and location was good. Got a free toothbrush and a map to help me get around.
A valuable experience”
Reception staff very helpful and attentive to travelers and their needs.
Only location was great, not recommend for long stay, but still depend on which room you stay, the room i stayed was small and really not worth the money, toilets and even the door also not function well, i will be back here but not as my first option anymore, so sorry
Homy Inn offers a convenient and comfortable accommodation. Since we're out most of the time, we only wanted a good place to sleep in. And Homy Inn gave us that: a clean room, a comfortable mattress with clean sheets. Apart from that, they change towels and empty waste bins daily. It's just not as spacious as I imagined it to be but it's alright since we really just slept there. Nothing fancy here, but provides the basic needs
Worth for the price at tst”
Good location close to mtr , book early before the price increase . So far no complaint as my second time stay here and also recommend to my friends . For those who wanna save money from accomodation . This is the right place !
Rooms were extremely small. Not advisable for travellers with more than 2 luggage. They gave us a room where the aircon is broken and no fan was provided and no there's no ventilation. Had to stay overnight in that room cuz all rooms are occupied. The facility is poor. We had to transfer from one building to another as the front desk and some other rooms are located separately.
Room extremely small.”
2 person in the room, Asian size (1 adult 1 child), have to give way to each other when in the room. Basin size gauged to be A4 size. Height about 1.66cm, lie straight on the bed, head and feet touches the 2 walls. Not recommended for bigger sized individuals. However, for the price, its acceptable. Basic things like hot water, a good air conditioner, mini safe deposit, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels and soap were provided. Nearest bus stop 2 to 3 minutes walk.
Good for travellers”
Close to restaurants and train/bus station.
Weird elevator, nice room!”
The room was quite small but was clean and had a private shower. Multiple plugs, lockers and aircondition in our room made up for the lack of space. The building's elevator was quite weird though since there was no option to get off of any other floor (eg. reception floor) apart from going to the ground floor then going all the way up again. You'll understand when you get there. Other than that, we had a great stay!
Great hostel within its price!”
I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights in the single room type. I think its the quality of the room was good for its price, but this room type is too small for big person or person who carry a big luggage. And also the hostel location is a little bit confusing at first, but when you already found it, it should be easy. Overall, great hostel to stay!
