5-STAR IN INTERNATIONAL STANDARD”
GENERALLY, WE HAD A PLEASANT STAY AT HONDER INTERNATIONAL HOTEL. IT IS 5-STAR WITHIN INTERNATIONAL STANDARD. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, AND CAN CONVERSE WELL IN ENGLISH. BREAKFAST IS SUMPTUOUS, WITH WIDE SELECTIONS. CLEANLINESS AND ORDERLINESS ARE NOTE WORTHY. I WOULD CONSIDER RETURNING TO THIS HOTEL ON OUR NEXT TRIP TO GUANGZHOU.

Amazing hotel and Staff”
We stayed for canton fair at Honder hotel, the internet speed was fast. breakfast was good. the chef was an amazing cook. GRO was very knowledgeable and sweet. Staff were polite and understood our needs. they exceeded our expectation in anyway possible. Hotel location is near a few food markets and small stores. Taxi is very easy to catch, only 5 min away from the railway station. the only complain has to be the tv channels as they only have one English channel. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Honder.

Fantastic hotel - Fantastic Staff”
Super experience, The staff were fantastic, especially the asst managers Mr Mark & Ms Jenny. They made the stay wonderful for all guests. For a hotel that has opened only recently. The bus to the fair was always on time. The rooms were great. The drawback is that the restaurant menu is still limited as this is a brand new hotel, but I guess they will start the full menu service soon. The location is close to GHz east station but yet a little far about 10 min walk. Taxi is not a problem at all.

WE HAD A WARM FEELING AT THE MOMENT WE CAME IN. THE HOTEL STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND CAN CONVERSE WELL IN ENGLISH. HOTEL ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND BIG ENOUGH, WITH WIDIE VIEW OF THE CITY. WE CAN ACTUALLY ENJOY LONG STAY INSIDE THE ROOM. I WOULD CONSIDER RETURNING TO THIS HOTEL ON OUR NEXT TRAVEL TO GUANGZHOU.

New hotel, nice facade”
Open concept toilet for the lowest end room, no privacy if there are guests in the room, awkward location, cars have to make big detour if they are across the road just to come to hotel. Otherwise, nice hotel, 5 stars by local standards, 4+ stars by international, but 4 stars price, good value.

Great Hotel”
I stay at this hotel often whenever I'm in Guangzhou. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The staff always excel in personal service. I haven't eaten there much since I am gone during the day but the time or 2 I have eaten there I was satisfied with my meal.

good international standard hotel”
As the hotel is very near, everything is very clena and neat. Service of the staff is excellent too. The lobby looks grand and the room is good. However the location of the hotel is not that ideal, unless you are willing to take cabs. For Metro travellers, it is a bit far, unless you take a cab to the nearest metro station. when i was booking the hotel, there was a promotion thus it is still worth it. If prices are cheap, i will stay again.

We came to Canton Fair and the hotel arranged free shuttle bus for us twice per day. Besides that the hotel has 3 restaurants and provides different dishes with reasonable price. We'll stay in this hotel again when we come back to Guangzhou next trip.

I just stayed in this Hotel during Canton Fair´s first phase. They have 2 big Bus´s to shuttle guests to and from the Fair. Only problem is, the room rate will go up after too many possitive reviews. ;o)

Missing some important things”
I have stayed at the Honder Hotel several times. My last visit was for 17 days. I find it annoying that they do not offer money exchange anywhere in the hotel. You must walk to a nearby bank if you need to convert dollars to RMB. The bank's service is very slow and methodical and takes way too much time. I think any five-star hotel should offer a money exchange service.

Very good price for such a nice and new hotel. English of reception is not perfect but definitely worth it. Has a 24/7 McDonald's and 7 eleven next door in case you need them.

It was splendid, rooms very large and clean, staff were helpfull, lots of eating places around and a mc donalds just opposite, close to banks but the hotel didn't have a money changing facility. Overall great experience, will go again.

Nice enough, but not 5 star”
There was no concierge to help with our luggage or greet us when we got into the hotel and out of the taxi. Staff just standing around talking to each other while we struggled. The room was nice, as is the building. It looks 5 star. The bed is rock hard, so if you like soft mattresses it's not for you. Also, don't believe the international signage. The only part that's international is English writing in the elevators. TV is all Chinese, Internet is Chinese only, although free wifi. The bathrooms in the lobby area were really dirty. Bodily fluids on the floor and on the toilet seats. Doesn't look maintained. No toilet paper either - so doesn't seem to be checked regularly. Staff were friendly enough, and tried their best to communicate with me in English, which was nice. Location was convenient for me, close to TienHe by metro or taxi, and taxi comes in around 10y which is very affordable. Also some restaurants and coffee shops around. Seems to be many students as some universities are close by. Overall a nice hotel and not bad value by any means - especially compared to the price points of the regular 5 star.
