Better than I thought it would be and excellent value for this part of town. The rooms were recently renovated and very clean, there is also 24 hour security, Breakfast is typical for such places and was fine when served hot (not always the case). Location is good with lots of good restaurants in the vicinity. Don't stay here is you're afraid to walk a bit though as it's a good 20 minute to the skytrain. Only downside is the soundproofing was pretty bad (it's like sharing your room with your neighbours) and the smell in the bathrooms was even worse than in most Bangkok budget places.
This was my third visit to this hotel and it is always a great experience, the staff are great, location good, my only gripe is the room safe, were the instructions don't match the safe. One needs a degree in science to operate damm thing.
Helpful and happy staff, clean room and good value”
I had a really good stay at this small and friendly hotel - much more inviting than a formal business hotel. The room was clean, the bed was good quality and the noise levels were low at night though the hotel was fully booked. The usual small continental breakfast was served with a smile as always. A short stroll to the main road and a bearable distance to the Skytrain for connectivity to all else. I liked the proximity to the local park and through it the local shopping centre and skytrain, and felt well connected yet in a quieter location. I will be staying again and recommend this hotel.
quiet place,good price
Great value for Bangkok”
I've stayed in many hotels in Bangkok but always end up going back to this one. The rooms are spotless !
Value for money. ”
I have stayed here many times, and it is never disappointing. Staff are very friendly, and welcome me back, remembering my name. Rooms are basic, but clean and spacious, as I always ask for deluxe. Higher floors are better, and ask for one facing Soi22.
2 nights and not again”
2nd time now staying at Honey house 2. The Breakfast is still a piece of bread and a coffee. I like the location of this hotel. I had an item go missing from my room whilst i was out. No cleaners where working and i watched the cctv footage. I dont believe things can vanish by magic so its a shame for me to say that i won't allow myself to stay here ever again.
Bang for your buck”
Honey House 2 has become my go-to place to stay in Bangkok when I am on a strict budget. It's clean, has free wi-fi, a fridge and is super close to convenience stores. Soi Cowboy (everyone seems to know where that is) is only roughly a ten minute walk away. It would probably cost 40 baht to get there by cab. The only pitfall of this hotel is that it is probably a little bit extra to walk to the main road (than when I stayed in a different hotel on the same street) where the MRT and shopping malls are. That said, it's still right in the thick of things. The street (Soi 22) has plenty to offer, Thai and Western food and all the things you'd expect of Bangkok. The next time I am passing through Bangkok I'll be staying here again.
Attentive staff and great room”
I traveled or 3 weeks in Thailand and out of all the hotels we stayed in, this was my favorite. The staff were amazing. Friendly and chatty, and very helpful! The room was 1000 bht a night for twin beds and very nice, it had a good sized shower room, a safe, fridge with a free bottle of water for each guest every day, a wardrobe, desk, TV, AC and breakfast. The hotel was about 15 minute walk the the sky train (Sukhumwit station) it cost us 25 bht to travel one way from the airport, after getting a bus for 30bht. Don't get a taxi! Just walk out the airport and ask for the bus and train. Terminal 21 shopping mail is also next to the station. Very happy with my stay, would stay again!
Very brief stay, but helped cure our jet lag.”
We were only there for about 8 hours, but it was definitely enjoyable and helped recharge our batteries after a very long and unpleasant flight. Comfortable bed/bedding, strong A/C, clean, near a busy area, but far enough away that it was very quiet and not like you were staying in the middle of Bangkok - nothing fancy, but worked well for us.
small room, far from main road”
room was small but clean hotel situated far from main road and no free shuttle from hotel. expect to pay for taxi or walk a long way for this amount of money u can get a better hotel elsewhere but if u cant find any and dont mind staying far this maybe a hotel for u try to stay one night 1st and extend if u like this hotel and if u book online and have paid for it please make sure the staff understand that uve paid online or they will ask u to pay again. happen to me
Great location though quite small rooms”
The hotel is easy to find, easy access to big open parking area (free of charge for customers). At night the area was nice a quiet. It ahd Free WiFi, even though Agoda did not mention that. The hotel was very clean. We are happy with the service and will be back. ABF was very small ;-( The Walk-in price is 800 THB for small rooms, though Agoda charge 850 THB +TAX ;-(
Clean hotel and friendly staff.”
i actually showed up at the honey house 1. the taxi driver got confused or something. i was greeted politely by what seemed to be the owner in the middle of dinner. i told him i was looking for honey house 2 and he shelled out baht from his own pocket to pay for a personal ride over. a good start to my stay already. i showed up at honey house 2 and everything was nicely furnished with a breakfast area in the front looking out to the street. the staff were two pretty thai girls with excellent english pronunciation. i was surprised. everything after that was excellent. elevator that took you up to your room. safe in the room. comfy bed and well decorated.
i just stay there because i booked this hotel and wanted to stay in this location but not really because i like the hotel.it's located in a small road ,have many bars and massage salon around .. the room is quite small and not really confortable . i think everyone will be surprise about the breakfast ,ah ah a..u should plan to go out and have another breakfast after that ,i never saw that before ..ehe .but the staff is nice.
Good rooms poor location”
exec rooms are good, lift works well, air con very good and quiet. got put in standard room first night though very poor - dirty sheets, dirty bed cover! continental breakfast is not worth getting out of bed for - 2 pieces of white toast and a half cup of coffee. hotel is a long way down soi 22 so you are up for long walks every day to get to the sky train or sukhumvit road
Great value and location”
Free breakfast everyday. Place felt classy but the cost was very cheap. A great value. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to the skytrain which makes it ver convenient. Overall I highly recommend this place and will come back if I return to bangkok
my third stay @ this hotel.. very small hotel .. but staff very friedly... u can keep u'r bag's with them for few with out any problem .. very safe.. very friendly staff.. my experance always good here
Clean & quite relax place to stay”
this is always a good loaction to stay... very relax... very good price u get ... very safe hotel u can keep all u'r stuff there ... rooms not so big not too small... someone want to stay relax this is good place
great service, smallish rooms but comfy”
good steady consistent service on a quiet soi. pretty good amenities nearby despite a ok walk to the skytrain. nearby lemon grass massage is excellent and was very popular with posh locals, japanese women, and us. choose this one, honey house 2, honey house 1 looks less well located being near by a lot of bars and go go places.
"Lovely hotel and service with a smile"”
i stay 2 times in this hotel and i enjoyed due to the location at soi 22 there are many bars, 7/11, thai massages and selling food at the street. it is a little bit far from sukhumvit road (10-15 minutes walking) but it is ok, there is a lot of tuk-tuk and taxi all the times, plus moto bike if you don't like to walk. the price is very good and the rooms are small but clean and comfortable. i advise to choose one room from the back instead one in front from the soi 22, during all the times is noise from traffic on the street... if you want to sleep good and without noise, ask for a room at the back. general it is a good hotel and i stay there if i came back to bangkok.
