Nice capsule hostel, clean and cozy. Popular with local workers as well, who returned late and left early, so lots of sounds in the night. If you are a heavy sleeper, you will be alright.

Strange hotel rules. $10 on top of Agoda price to extend you stay. Room was very good. But I will not stay again.

Plenty of individual shower booths, pretty quiet inside, pods provide good privacy, and the young receptionist that speaks English was nice.

Strategic location!”
It’s a strategic location seems i just walk to most of the tourist spot (eg: pink church, benh thanh market & night market, Saigon Central Post Office etc..). Also, a row of club and pub near by (few foot steps only) for u to choose too! Highly recommended to use Grab when u’re there. Hostel overall not bad, all capsule works perfectly except for mine sometimes out of circuit. But u can let the staff know and they will help u restart the capsule. Dont forget to keep ur blind off all the time cause there are lots of mosquitoes.

Great Location. Room is quiet.....great mattress and shower etc.”
I stayed in one of the rooms without a window but it wasn't a problem for me. No noise at all.....had good sleeps at night. Shower is nice and great water pressure. Can't beat the location...at the start of Bui Vien and walking distance to attractions etc. Wifi was good too. Will stay here again.

Worth to Stay For Travel On Budget”
The staff was friendly and patient to explain the attraction around HCM. Furthermore, the room quite clean as the staff cleans the room and toilet daily every morning. Recommend to bring ear plug if you not a heavy sleeper, as sometimes there will be the noise of people come back or when people are doing something. Its feel like living in the dorm, respect roommate and not to make loud noise are very important to stay in this hotel in order to bring convenience to other people. Additional point is that I need to send some postcards to a friend but to go to the central post office is a bit too far so I asked the staff and she was willing to help and send the postcards that already pasted with stamps to a postman,

Great value. ”
For what it was, this place is fine. You have to be prepared to block out the noise of the night clubs if you are not here to party. The restroom was cleaned regularly, but the plumbing leaked and the other guests had bad aim, so it smelled pretty bad. It was decent for the price.

Adjust your expectations”
For $5 a night, there's not much to complain about. It just wasn't quite what I expected from the photos. This is basically a hostel where the bunks are contained in metal shells. As hostels go, it's a higher level of privacy but gets noisy at night. The location is really good if you are there to party. The restroom was unfortunately very smelly. Some of the guests were inconsiderate in their use of the shared space. For the price, I feel like it was highly adequate, but in all honesty I considered moving to a hotel for my second nIght in Ho Chi Minh City.

They need to invest in some new matresses”
Like most hotels in Vietnam, they do not actually appear as the Agoda photos. Nothing special bout their "Japanese" style pods. Fans offer poor circulation. Nothing is sound proof. So be aware that dudes might snore loudly especially if they've been partying. Take earplugs with you. The mattress is extremely thin on top of metal. I slept with an additional blanket just to make the cushion bearable. Otherwise it's a decent night to spend a few nights. Again nothing special.

Good place for sleeping near Bui Vien tourist street”
Right in the city centre. Good value for money. Regular sleeping boxes have some airflow issues especially on lower bed row. The business boxes are much better but still affordable. For both, more efficient fans or 2 or 3 fans per box would make it much better. The staff is freindly and helpful and the location excellent. This is my favourite in the city centre of Saigon.

Amazing location, Superb staff, Clean!”
For under $10 a night, Hong Kong Kaiteiki Hotel is a bang for your buck. It's situated conveniently at the end of the backpacker's district (perfect as it wouldn't be too noisy). Check-in was smooth like iced tea, staff always helpful and carry a smile. The shared toilet were regularly cleaned, the capsules were neatly tidied. The bed is slightly hard, for those fussy humans may need to take note of that. Otherwise, it is the best value for money. 10/10

Dirty,needs a makeover ”
Booked a standard private room, open drains so it smelt really bad.Ants on the bed and room in general in need of good clean and freshen up. Moved to another room next door which smelt bit better but still fairly grubby. Put up with it but found cockroache in our room on the second night which sums up how dirty the place was. Right across from a club so we got little sleep. Overall I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Worst hotel in HCMC”
The wifi was terrible and there was no hot water. We had bought bus tickets through the hotel. The day we were supposed to leave, the staff told us to wait in the lobby and they would tell us when it was time to leave. The staff were so busy watching youtube videos that they didn't notice the time, forgot to tell us to leave and we missed our bus. They were rude, rolling their eyes and laughing. They then booked us another bus for a much cheaper price, but instead of giving us the money left over from the last (and more expensive) bus, the lady kept it for herself and wouldn't refund us. If enjoy ice cold showers and rude, thieving staff - Hong Kong Kaiteki Hotel is for you!

Not worth the $5usd”
The bed was a 1/2inch pad on sheet metal with dirty sheets that looked to have never been changed, the screens are torn and thin and the bunks generally dirty. They charge cash 100,000dong to get a towel and supposedly you get it back when you return the towel. I stayed on a female floor and my friends on a male floor. The bathrooms were gross and smelly on both floors and not one of us showered the one night we were there.

Great hostel at its price!!!”
The Hostel is right at the center of HCMC and on the busiest night street of this city. The capsule has all what you need. Hostel staffs are friendly and helpful. They have a small juice and smoothies stall in front of the hostel with very cheap prices. They dont provide shampoo or body cleanser in the bathroom but you can buy them with 20,000 VND (less than US $1) at the reception counter.
