When I booked my room a/c was included in the price but when I checked in they told me that I had to pay extra for a room with a/c. Other than than avoid the crowed of tuk tuk drivers in front of the establishment as they are overpriced.

    call and confirm!”
The reservation was for a standard double room with ac, when I arrived the reservation they had was for a twin with a fan. they wanted an extra 40 bucks for what I already confirmed with agoda. so I had to reduce my stay by 4 days due to price. We will see how the rest of my stay works out. Sign shows 10 a night for ac but got charged 13.......

    the staff is great.”
they are kind and make me comport, but the room is so old(perfectly 80's), pillow and mattress have rifted and have variety holes(who smoke in the room?). if you just find cheep room, that will be the best choice.

i arrived early in the morning, the place was still locked/unopened. if you’re traveling here make sure you arrive not too early. They did not received my paid bookings, so i showed them my payment receipt, and i was then given a double bed room on the 3rd floor. i was late for my meeting, so i had to run up to shower and change, and when i reached at the entrance to leave they told me i need to bring my luggage down, so that they could change my room to a single bed room, which will be available that noon. so i had to run up again to get my luggage. mind you they don’t have lifts/elevator. the location is far from any main point of interests , and it’s quiet at night, so for female traveler i wouldn’t suggest this place at all. if i were to visit this town again, i wouldn’t bother to stay at this place again.

    Not the cleanest but quiet”
Pros: Cheap - single ensuite $7 Quiet room Good wifi connection 20 min walk to riverside or $3 tuktuk Close to cheap, local eats Cons: Room and bathroom not the cleanest Really thin bed sheet and pillowcase Pillow too hard Fan not always effective Shower, toilet and sink leaky Get what you pay for. I only extended as I was waiting on my Thai visa (anyone wanting Thai visa then I recommend Cina Travel, excellent communication and service. $48 for 60 day Thai visa in 3 days).

It's worth paying a bit more for the air-conditioning and a bigger bed ”
So we had a single room which had enough for two people. Which is did but the room was hot we asked the hotel if we could pay more for a bigger room with air con which was a little bit more which was fine for us to do The facilities were good only thing I would change is offer some coffee facilities. Whether it's a kettle in each room or a kettle down stairs near the cold drinks. The WiFi is good, seems that every floor has its own WiFi router, as I saw a router on each floor Hotel is manned 24 hours and also had a night guard, the staff are friendly and English is spoken by a couple of the staff. Location is fair, not far from the market which is worth a look at tends to sell most things. Tuk tuks are available outside the hotel from early in the morning until quite late I'd happily stay there again but I would go straight for the more expensive room $12 a night as the extra room in the bed and the room plus the air-conditioning makes for a far more comfortable experience
