Loved Hong Thu! we stayed in one of the spacious rooms with a private bathroom. super comfortable and spacious. great fan, super hot water & excellent mosquito net. dinner was excellent (I am vegan and my girlfriend is a carnivore). the family dinner with other guests was so much fun and the corn alcohol they make is superb. make sure to try it. super smooth! the hosts were so nice and we loved our stay. highly recommend!

The family made this stay the best one when we had while we did the ha giang loop. We were welcomed with a perfect camp fire to warm up a bit, we got some delicious traditional snacks and in the evening we had the most amazing diner with the family and some neighbors. Would definitely recommend this place, and would love to come back some day!

I stayed in a private bungalow. The amenities were great for the location in a cute cultural village. I had both dinner and breakfast with the family, which were both great food and happy water.
The cultural village is large. This property was a little hard to find. It requires going over a dirt lot from the main road to arrive at the front door. Be aware of that.

Awesome experience”

We really love Mrs. Thu and her family! She and her husband both speak English, even their kids, so communicating with them was really easy. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Good value! We had dinner with them and that was the best experience ever! Breakfast was really good, too. Pancakes with natural honey and eggs. Coffee was great, as well. Everything is just great. I highly recommend this place.

We liked everything ! Thu is an incredible host, speaks well english, and is very generous ! We had dinner with the family, it was so delicious and plenty of food ! And don't forget to drink happy water !! I recommend 100%, and if you do the Ha Giang loop, it is very well located in the middle of the village. Thank you fpr everything!

Treat yourself to some amazing food at this comfortable, quiet homestay.”

This is a relatively new homestay so it is a nice property. It’s tucked away in a quiet town in the mountains, but not far at all from the nearest town with restaurants, shops and ATMs. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. So kind and accommodating. The dinner they made for me and the other two guests was amazing. We could not stop talking about it. The breakfast was simple, but very delicious. Great way to start the day. The beds were fine and each had its own mosquito net.
Not a whole lot to say here. The bathrooms were super simple, but they were functional and the water was warm. Keep in mind that the plumbing is pretty basic. Not a problem, you just need to be conscience of what you flush.

Thu and her family. Clean mountain air. Rustic. Great dinner. Excellent hot water with great pressure for a refreshing shower! The location in Nam Dam village- soooooo gorgeous!
The power went out which meant that we couldn’t charge our phones overnight. A bit of a problem without access to GPS but luckily the roads are pretty well signed going to Yen Minh and all worked out anyway! If the power goes out and keeps flickering on and off, it’s a good idea to unplug your electronics. Our usb adaptors blew out. Luckily we could buy new ones once we got to Yen Minh.
