Pleasant Staycation”

I live in the USA and go to Manila every year. I wanted to check on the city of Makati where I was born and raised, during those times when Makati Avenue was still all cogon grass. My stay at Hop Inn took me to spots where we used to hang out as tweenagers and my oh my! The hustle and bustle of the streets, the tall buildings, the bars. I felt like a tourist in another country! I tremendously enjoyed my stay with the courteous, smiling friendly staff, the clean room, bath and linens. Since it's a budget hotel, don't expect a fridge where you can stock up on juices and San Miguel beers. Also, choose a room far from the street and ask the front desk to remind loud guests coming back after midnight to keep their voices down (they may have had so much fun in the bars of P. Burgos LOL) so as not to waken those who may be already asleep.

Great location but has a downside”

Hop Inn Makati is a nice play to stay at and the price is reasonable. The room we stayed at is new, simple and very clean. The bathroom is clean as well with basic stuff like towels and liquid soap. The hotel is located in the one of the busiest street of Makati, which is also a business district. It’s accessible to restaurants and pubs. There’s also a supermarket nearby so going around to get what you need is easy. However, the downside in having a hotel along a busy street is that you can hear the crazy honking of cars. The noise gets really loud especially at night. Light sleepers may have a problem with this. But overall my stay in this place is good

Excellent”

You get all the things you would need for a short stay in makati, the bed is comfortable, the A/C can maintain the room at 16 degrees celcius even on quiet mode and the CR is very large for the price you pay. I would say that the restaurant (cafe) attached to the hotel could benefit from a more varied menu, also if there is a disturbance in the floor you are staying it is difficult to contact reception to inform of this due to the phone being located next to the elevator. On balance I would say that I was happy with my stay at hop Inn, more so related to the affordable price paid and cleanliness of the room. It may not be the most lavishly decorated hotel in makati but it is by far the most cost effective especially if you are only spending a few days in the area. I will be returning happily in the future.

Go For the Quiet Side!”

This was my second time at Hop Inn Hotel Makati and after my first experience I specifically requested a room not facing the main road. This made a huge difference in terms of traffic noise which was much appreciated. On the downside, I had to endure some late night door pounding and loud conversations which woke me up. However, I appreciated the comfortable bed , relatively spacious room and bathroom and overall cleanliness. The receptionists were also very friendly and the help of the doormen to get a taxi was much appreciated.

Decent, Nice, Clean”

Booked a twin room for my mother & niece. The room looked decent. Everything was very clean & pretty new. The bathroom was nice too. The hotel location is pretty good. Makati avenue is a good place for foreigners like my family. There’s A Venue nearby as well as a wealth of restaurants, takeaways, convenience stores. A Venue has a super market inside too. The price is very good. We were happy with the hotel & will be staying there again in the future. Thank you.

great for business travelers”

near key areas like ayala triangle, rcbc. just short uber/grab ride away. there is a desk where I can work on. and the room is spacious enough for me. the room was kept clean during my 5 day stay in the property staff are always smiling and are very friendly unlike the one in hop inn ermita. so I definitely recommend hop inn makati ave.

More than your money's worth”

The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Makati Avenue. It is surrounded by several restaurants, bars and coffee shops. You would never run out of options on where to dine. There is also a nearby food park. The rooms of the hotel are spacious. & checking in & out is a breeze. I would definitely return here on my next visit to Manila.

Decent, Clean, Good value”

The hotel feels as if it’s new. Everything seems New & good quality. It’s next to A Venue & being along makati avenue provides many shops, restaurants to choose from. It’s a safe area for tourists from what I can tell. The area is kinda noisy due to being near the makati Mandaluyong bridge. That means a bunch of beeping horns being audible, at any time of the day/ night. I like the hotel & recommend it. For the price it’s very good value.

Affordable yet convenient place to stay! ”

Not bad for an overnight stay or more. Accommodating staff. You can reach out to them with your request/s via Viber and with no delay. Location has nearby restaurants and bars, convenient stores, and other hotels in Makati Avenue. You can also bring a car as they have free parking in the hotel. However, it would have been better if they also offer breakfast and they have a tissue dispenser in the toilet. But as a whole, we enjoyed our stay here with my hubby and it will be one of our go-to places if we would like to stay in Makati again. Thanks for the experience! 😉👍🏻

Bang for your buck!”

Value for money hotel. Rooms are spacious and interiors designed for function. Clean and fresh white sheets. Bathroom’s spacious and has got good water pressure. Strategically located along Makati avenue and JP Rizal. Got good restaurants, convenience stores and hypermaket nearby. Recommended to those looking for a good place for a quick stop in the Metro.

Great Hotel and value”

Hop Inn in Makati is in a good area. Nice size rooms and restroom. Walking distance to food and 7-11. The lobby is clean and the staff friendly. I would stay here again. Oh, the price is great value.

We loved the facilities and the amenities provided by Hop Inn. The room space was big enough for our needs, and it was well-maintained. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Near the hotel were several restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient for us. The hotel was also easy to locate, making it easy for us first-timers to the place. We'd definitely go back if given the chance.

Always a good stay”

Hop Inn is always our choice to stay in Makati for a short time. The place is affordable, clean, with good staff and its close to establishments. We only had a concern the last time we stayed there, the a/c wasn’t cold enough, but our overall experience was really good, we would recommend this place.

Excellent”

Since this is new, the room is clean. Loved the bed and the sheets. Room is simple and no frills. No dental kit so bring your own. I liked the shower gel, smells nice. Room is at the 7th floor facing makati Avenue and it's very noisy during daytime and nighttime. If you are a light sleeper, ask if you can get rooms not facing Makati Ave. Very near grocery (SM Hypermarket ) and lots of restaurants around so it's that there's no room service. Place is secured and wifi is fast. I can come back here if i just need a place to stay overnight.

Good place to stay in the metro”

I love the place coz it's near on the business district what I'm just disappointed is the noise of the vehicles near the road.. the rooms should be sound proof.. but overall stay was good. Clean rooms and accomodating staffs and they have parking space.. I just hope there would be enough toiletries next time and room slipper coz it's too cold at night.. thanks and more power Hop Inn hotel..

Exceptional”

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Hop Inn. Service was great. Room was clean. Bathroom was good. Best value for money. Location was a bit challenging since there is an island in the middle of the road, preventing your vehicle to do a direct left turn when coming from the Ayala side. There was also construction beside the hotel which was making all sorts of noise the entire day.

King of the budget hotels. Basic no frills rooms on Makati Avenue across from the now shut down Time Club. Cheap and basic, not much else to write home about. Comfortable beds, but rooms feel like they were once an office before. Good for a quick cheap one nighter.

Most impressive thing of Hop Inn hotel is the staff, very kind and professional! This specific hotel was in a perfect location as well! I guess it really worth for the price which is quite budget price!

The Inn you want to Hop on”

The Hop Inn hotel is really good for short visits. You also get to choose if the quiet side or the road side. I wanted a quiet and literally my side was very quiet 🤫. The space is not that big but thats alright its still very comfortable. With the simple design and fixture, the important part is that that bathroom is very clean 🚿 🚽 . I give this stay a two thumbs up. 👍 👍
