Great place to stay”
i enjoyed my stay at hope homes.they are friendly and helpful and have directions to all the good sites on bohol and panglao island.they have a nice outdoor area for relaxing or playing billiads.the free motorcycle is a great bonus.definitely worth staying here.

A Perfect Hotel for a Family Adventure Vacation”
This Hotel was perfect for us, maybe not for someone looking for 5 star cleanliness. Motorcycles created ability to explore Panglao Island and even the southern part of Bohol. The owner and the staff were in tune with our needs and helped us finalize our adventures. Our kids rated every day in Panglao an A to A+. Unbelievable for 5 kids ranging from 12-20 years of age.

Lovely hotel and service with a large smile”
I live in this hotel for the second time. Here is in a village. But very convinient with the motor cycle. You can travel to everywhere in Panglao. And you can cook here. Look like at home. I like this kind of hotel! But it seems a little noisy because it is not a brick house. But it's OK. Because the service here is warm. The boss is very kind! Haha!

The place is pretty spartan but for the price, it is a good deal. Specially with the motorbike rental with the room. If your the type of traveler that is more interested in exploring the place than being particular where you spend the few hours you are asleep, then this place is for you. Very close to the main attraction in Panglao, Alona beach and the cave. While the motorbike will take you anywhere in Bohol.

I would recommend everybody to stay at this hotel. Rooms are nice and affordable. motorbikes are included and allow you to explore the island and Bohol (Alona Beach is 5 min away). Staff is very helpful. Place is quiet.

Small hotel in calm place, not tourist zone”
Even Hope Homes a little bit far from the beach, we like this small, calm place. Good that not in tourist zone, we have possibility to live between local people, to see their life style, taste their food, listen local music. Amazing when in the early morning you can listen cocks or birds or lizards sounds... Room was simple, but enough space. Staff ready to help, answer for all you need. Good that in price included motorbike, so no problem to reach any place in Bohol. Not expensive to order breakfast or dinner and always receive fresh food even fruits or juice.

Great value and awesome staff!”
Hope Hopes was a great place to stay as a solo traveler. The rooms were very affordable, and the free motorbike made my stay on Bohol much more relaxing, not having to worry about transportation. The common area is great for guests to get breakfast and share their plans for the day, as well as a fun place to unwind and share some tips in the evening. There is also a BBQ grill, pool table, and a small bar to enjoy after a tough day on the beach. Can't wait to go back!

Home away from home”
Our stay at Hope Homes Resort was memorable. Staff were accommodating and always clean the rooms. The free use of motorbike was very helpful since it served as main transportation for us when we were at Bohol. They also have complimentary drinking water. Rooms were comfy since they are made of woods. They also have bar and billiards area where guests can relax. Things to improve on: It would be better if there is also swimming pool and more food selection/menu at the bar so guests have more options. Better maintenance is also needed to some rooms since some are already moldy.

Welcoming place with a local experience”
went as a group of 11 international students based in hong kong, and the place suited us perfectly. all the staff were very friendly and most accommodating to all of us for our stay. we turned up with one more person than expected but this was an issue that was sorted out without any hassle. we loved the fact that the motorcycles were available to us from the minute we checked in, and simplicity of not having to search for other rental services was very convenient. when the motorcycles are factored into the location, everywhere of interest is within very short reach, and even places on bohol island (1-2 hours ride) are enjoyable to travel to and explore. the food was surprisingly good, but mostly of the fast-food type, pretty basic, and very westernised, but we found the american breakfasts and omelettes perfect for fueling our day-trip adventures. also, my german friend recommends the curry sausage! the rooms we stayed in were basic and did not have air-conditioning (they had fans), though i believe this is an option. this really didn't bother us too much however, as we stayed in the end of february and though the weather was hot and humid, it was comfortable at night.

Clean room (cleaned everyday without asking) Cold aircon hot water. Staff were happy to answer any questions and knew a lot about Bohol didnt have any negative experiences just keep in mind this is the philippines dont expect first class ....your not visiting paris

Basic backpacker home away from home.”
We enjoyed our stay here. We booked for a fan room but when we got there there's no available fan room so the owner, Fred, put us in an aircon room and provided us a fan to use. We were also allowed to use the refrigerator inside the room which is very useful. The room is basic and most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. You can order food and eat in the common area. When we can't go out due to rains, we just played billiards and also chitchat with the staffs and with other travelers staying in this place. The room is regularly clean and they change the sheets but the pillow and mattress smells so they probably need to change it or sun dry it regularly to remove the smell. The place is far from the noisy gigs of Alona beach so you can relax and have a good night sleep. You can easily go to Alona beach or nearby tourist spots using the motorbike when needed. The place is recommended for couple or solo travelers but for family they might need to rent a private car or van to go around Panglao area.

Great Bohol Experience with Hope Homes. Esp. With their Motorcycle. Hope Homes should let their pets secured especially the dogs. Dogs seems to be not so fine, not all people know how handle dogs so maybe keep their pet caged.

Cheap Hotel in Panglao”
Don't expect this place to be somewhere near Alona Beach because it's not. I guess this is the reason why they included a free motorcycle rental. It's a good amenity for tourists who wishes to tour Panglao Island or go beach hoping. But for those who're planning to stay in only in Alona Beach, I suggest that you go look for other cheap hotels near the beach. We didn't get to try the hotel's food because we were in Alona Beach the whole day and only go back to this hotel to rest, change, and sleep. The room that we got is fairly big. There's a fridge inside but no TV. The ac is not working well but still managed to cool our room. The bathroom is quite spacious as compared to other cheap hotels but the management needs to work on its cleanliness.

the fee bike is a really highlight because you have a chance to explore panglao and bohol islands with much freedom and adventure. the host welcomed us in a warm way, he is helpful and kind. we'd like to extend our stay but it was fully booked.

Pretty good allround location for the price”
This is located about 3 kilometres out of Alona Beach Area and with the free motorbike it's easy to get around. I found that heading away from Alona you found some secluded resorts that are still willing to provide service for the 'walk in traveller'. I did an amazing 'walk in ' scuba dive at one of them and it was great! Hope Homes probably need to get a safety deposit box system sorted out but some travellers may not worry about this so it's each to their own.
