Nice hotel”
Every room has its own dedicated parking space which is just below the room. The hotel design is somewhat like a townhouse. The first floor is the parking space then the second floor is the room.

Great budget hotel in Subic”
Horizon Hotel is a great budget hotel in the heart of Subic. The staff were warm and friendly. The room was very clean, and aptly furbished. The bed was large, comfy, and the beddings were nice and plush. Hot and cold water was strong and consistent. A safe is provided in the room. There were a few hiccups during our stay, though. We were startled by the doorbell at 2 in the morning, and when I got up to open the door, it was housekeeping, asking me if I had requested for toothbrushes (I hadn't). The other thing was during breakfast. My wife asked if the fried rice in Boneless Bangus dish could be swapped out with bread instead. They said yes. When the dish came, they had given her plain rice. When we asked about that, they said that you can only swap out the fried rice with plain rice, not bread. Oh well! But overall, we had a great stay at a great price. :)

- Hotel rooms, bathroom, toilet, lobby, outside are all clean. - Heart of Subic Bay - near to everywhere - Staffs are approachable and kind. Room service people are diligent, courteous, and polit.

This was my 2nd time to book this hotel however this time our experience was unsatisfactory. We booked two rooms and when we got to the hotel, we were told that one room is not available. They made arrangements for another room in another hotel but we only had one car so we were all forced move to another hotel. Not the worse situation we have been in but would appreciate next time if we were contacted prior to arrival. We did not pay extra which was good. We will still book in this hotel but hope to have more communication if the same issue happens next time.

YOU HAVE PRIVATE GARAGE”
We often travel to Olongapo and this place suit our needs of safe parking. Parking is just right below our hotel room that we truly need. The only problem is they do not have a decent restaurant. Their restaurant serves Korean food and it is very expensive. Not suitable for our taste.

We were here for a week. In Subic proper, this is a business hotel; mainly Korean with a Korean Restaurant. A place of cement, you drive through the underground car park, where you park if you have a car, which then has about 20 staircases - one of which you climb for your room. Your room has a window, internal, looking out on your cemented neighbour opposite. We fell down the stairs up. The staircase handrail, which you automatically grip to climb up with your suitcase in hand, runs out of steps under your feet, and you fall backwards. We were very lucky that Christine, the wonderful security guard, stepped up with 1st aid. Having said all that, if any feeling of beauty is secondary to you, the room is very clean, the bathroom excellent and everything works. We enjoyed the restaurant where everyone was very helpful, and we recommend to you. Downside is wifi. You need to complain hard, ongoing, never stop. Then they will take it away from someone more pliable for you.

Short Time Hotel - But also a nice hotel”
Basically setup similar to an Asian style Quicky hotel with individual garage for privacy. Room was nice and comfortable, quick walk to shops and boardwalk. Staff were pleasant. It is not a resort, but definitely a nice comfortable hotel to stay.

Me and my friend stayed in this hotel. We both had a great time! The room was very clean and spacious. The washroom was very clean. The staff are kind, they even allowed us to check in early and they only charged us 200 pesos for 3 hrs instead of 600 pesos. The breakfast was good too.. all in all this is a great hotel! We would definitely book this hotel again when we go back to Subic..

ACCOMMODATING STAFF”
We requested for an early check in and we were accommodated by the staff. However, for the price we pay with no breakfast it's not a very good deal. Restaurant is a disappointment. Food is EXPENSIVE and not very appetizing. Waitress does not know how to explain the Korean dish they have in the menu.
