The most notable activity is horse riding, as Horseshoe Point Resort & Country Club is known for its quality horses and riding facilities. Other activities range from mountain biking and soccer to paintballing and water ballooning. All levels of fitness and skill are welcome. the service is good，but the location is a bit far away from the city
This is a decent hotel with good sized clean rooms. The hotel is a bit out of the way being 9 klms from the centre of Pattaya but it is not so bad if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya. They have good facilities for those who love horse riding and very friendly helpful staff. The breakfast is very good and served with a friendly smile. We stayed here for $15 a night which included breakfast which is hard to believe for 2 persons
Group trip (New Year countdown)”
Location is bad. No mini marts or 7 eleven nearby. The nearest one is 2.7km++ Grab car from Resort to 7 eleven and back to resort will cost you around 800 baht (I can buy snacks and beer a lot with that money) Or Resort wagon might charge you round trip to nearby 7 eleven 200 baht. But have only two wagons. So, if crowded season, just hire mini vans or drive on your own is better. Rooms were booked with large bed via Agoda, but they said not have. All are full. No respect for customers. So, just considered moving two twin beds into one. But that actually not help coz twin beds are like skate board with wheels. Your back side is moving twice to another direction when you move. The whole compound is pleasant for family trip. But for us, our group was here for NYE countdown at Maya Space, Cannot walk as pure dark at night and people not have. So, dangerous and only thing you travel is just hire Grab. I'd recommend not live here & just live near Entertainment areas inside Pattaya.
Pleasant but overpriced”
It is basically somebody's holiday home that is being rented out when empty. It was a pleasant medium sized house, 3 bedroom with a small private pool. The location is serene but remote, the nearest restaurants are a 10-20 minute drive away and Pattaya about half an hour. There was no WiFi (the router was hidden away in a storage cupboard), no kettle or tea/coffee makings (although there were 2 coffee machines in the kitchen) and Thai TV only. The house contains a washer/dryer that we never used. I was a bit perturbed when the owner demanded that I pay upfront.
A Comfortable Quiet Country Resort”
We have stayed at this resort before. We enjoy the quiet and unique feeling of the resort. Many activities are avaiable. Not too far from town so offers the best of both worlds. As we were travelling for personal business. The resort offered us the chance to enjoy quiet hours and stroll the grounds in between the busy schedule we had waiting on the "work" side. A very enjoyable place to stay. If you like horses even so much the better - there is a lot of horse history here. We will stay here again.
Unique hotel for travellers who love horses”
Stayed for one night in this unique hotel during an event. This resort is really unique for those who love to ride horses, or simply to watch horse show. Other than that, the resort is a bit away from the city or the beach (but close to a lake and golf course). The room seem to be not maintained properly, possibly due to low number of visitors. The bed is not comfortable at all, not firm, too soft and small. The room is rather spacious, decor is just very basic. I find the bathroom to be slightly not cleaned, again probably to seasonal occupants. The restaurant size is average and service a bit slow, but the quality of the food is better than I had expected. There was no wifi in the room, only available in the lobby. Wanted to go to the spa, but it was closed/shut-down.
Horse lover hotel”
Quite out of pattaya city, need to have individual vehicle to get there, friendly staff even there was only one staff at check in counter in each round. Fine room condition but less maintenance on hotel surrounding area including swimming pool. Limited breakfast line with eadible taste only. Anyway, acceptible with such quite low cost during long weekend.
nice hotel but so far away from beach”
this hotel is quite good, but the location is so far from beach. i was rather disappointed because of this. i had to pay expensive for the hotel taxi to the beach of pataya. because of that, willy nilly i made new reservation in another hotel nearby the beach.
Faded Rooms, lovely location”
Rooms were fairly basic, swimming pool fine but limited. Place seemed relatively empty, so decided not to eat there. Hotel is set up for Horse riding, with some added extras. So smallest daughter went for a introductory ride, which was fine. Older Children went on the Tree Top adventure. This was extremely exciting and the children enjoyed it greatly. Unlike myself, who walked along at the bottom of the course and encountered a rather large snake, (Top Tip, do not walk the course) Instructors told me there were a lot of snakes in this particular piece of jungle and that they always looked for them in the trees. Back at hotel, children went swimming, Snake fell out of tree next to pool!! End of trip!!
Funny time for horse activity ”
Nice Room . style country . Flexible for room fully support by staff . food are ok and nice place comfort for family time swimming pool is ok
good hotel with worth my money”
room is big have 2 beds and one sofa. facilities are ok such swimming pool. breakfasse is worth for money.
student dormitory not a hotel”
It’s like a student’s dormitory and about US$3,000/night is not worth to their service. The location is inconvenient, and you have to go to Pattaya to eat, shop, exchange money by taxi taking 30-40 minutes with charge THB500.00~. Hotel does not exchange foreign currency, some front stuff does not speak English, and no SPA. The cook at their restaurant does not know how to cook at all. The food was tasteless. No little shops in the hotel and has to go to a convenience store by a hotel taxi which charges double price compare in Bangkok. No beach chair at the swimming pool and lot of bird’s remaining (feces, wings) at the poolside and water in the pool taste nasty. The facility is old hotel rooms are musty. Better stay other hotel for vacation.
Very old hotel,and worst breakfast”
The hotel was old,key card for room entrance not working ,worst breakfast I ever had very far from beech ,never ever go to this hotel ,at night very dark and no security near the rooms entrance. We spoiled our holiday.
Good place to sleep ”
This hotel is good for family because they are a lot of activity to do. Only one thing that I feel like I make a mistake is this hotel is quite far and doesn't have hotel transfer service. I had to tark motorcycle taxi to the hotel which is quite dangerous.
Nice and quiet”
I got my own car , and I know the area . So it's fine for me First impression is weird . Smell of horse but it's quite comfy. . But never try to walk to the hotel from the main road or u r in deep shxt. As it take almost ten mins drive from the main gate
Great Location but uncomfortable get into a room ”
this hotel give us reasonable price with the great location all around make you feel unlike you come to the Sea but Mountain. But unfortunately the hotel is not comfort for hardly walk elder. And many room is under construction. Sometime feel like scary.
Good hotel to stay for a holiday”
When booking a hotel please make sure that what you book is what you are going to get. If you have children make sure that they can share your room and don’t need extra bedding and confirm this with an e-mail. The room we booked well in advance through Agoda for a ten day holiday was a suite and was advertised as a 45sq. meter room with an extension room for the children and a launce with kitchenette. On arrival at Horse shoe point I discover that the place I booked through the internet was not close to what I have booked. It came as a shock to find out that this was a one bedroom suite with no kitchenette and that my two daughters age 11 and 13 years of age were not allowed to share this suite. After a very long discussion with the reception staff and phone calls to the manager we got a separate room opposite the suite for our daughters for the night. The following morning the problem was discuss with the manager. Only after showing him the email that the hotel confirmed that we do not need any extra bedding for my daughters the problem was sorted out. The same morning the advertising of the suite was change to a 35 sq. meter single suite with no children The hotel gave us a free room for the stay of my daughters. After all the problems were sorted out we had a nice holiday at Horse Shoe Point Hotel. Chris Joubert
Great place for children's activities!”
I enjoyed my stay at horse shoe point, because there are lots of fun activities for the children. We enjoyed cycling around Three Kingdoms and the country roads near by. The children enjoyed the pool and play ground, pony trekking and the Tree top adventure was fun too. The actual hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is quirky but all in all I think it needs a style makeover. Having said that the price was low and I felt like it was just how it looked on the web site, so I knew what it would be like. I didn't care for the restaurant or the food much though.
Unique Resort with a Mediterranean feel”
The resort is large and interesting with activities such as mountain biking, trail running and horse riding. The rooms are situated around an indoor horse-show area which gives the place a unique feel. The restaurant and pool are alright and the staff were fairly helpful. The place looks like it's a little old but everything was kept to a high standard. The rooms themselves are small but comfortable. Bear in mind you will need your own transport or be prepared to stay within the resort grounds for the length of your stay.
Lots of adventures and activities”
Good and clean room in very cheap price Lots of activities Far from outside, no public transportation, have to eat inside resort only(only one choice) Manager is SUCK and RUDE(i had problem and didnt understand the payment condition, when i called politely and ask him to help me solve problem he just response sacastically back)!!! Anyway, the other staff are very nice, so i didnt mind much (but my boyfriend complanit not to come here again, lol)
