"1 Very nice terrace, even if a bit windy. I imagine it would be perfect on summer months. 2. No upper sheet, just blanket. Does not feel comfortable. 3. I don't think the floor in my room was even brushed once during my stay. (Corridors and bathrooms were brushed and washed daily) 4. Though shower stalls are nicely roomy, showers themselves left lot to wish for. Water pressure dropped off when hot was turned to maximum (but if less than maximum, water was too cold). In one of three stalls flow was reduced to mere trickle. I'm in favor of economizing water with timers, but 4 seconds?!! (I counted). Washing one-handed takes lot more time. 5. Kitchen is closed from 14-18 for cleaning. Most of the times I went to kitchen, sink was full of dirty dishes. Maybe if staff could step in every hour or half and wash few pots (or better, ask people to clean after themselves), they would not need 4 hours to clean.(ok, usually kitchen was open long after 2) 6. Some of the staff were quite rude, but others were nice, so I give 2 stars. 7. Room where I was had 8 beds and only 2 power outlets. When I asked for extension cord, I got very gruff 'No'. The adapter kept falling out of the wall and again, the guy in reception couldn't care less. But in the end he found me an extension cord. "

"Only location was an advantage. Rest is aweful. Shower was almost broken, water was spewing from all sides, very difficult to take a bath. I requested them to resolve it but they didn't do anything. Washroom was very small, having half tub. No mirror in the room to get ready. And most importantly, noises from the roof, adjacent rooms ket us awake till 3 am. Waste of money (180 Euros for 2 nights w/o breakfast)"

"If You get good price (like me;)) You shouldn't hesitate - it's a good choice. It's far away from the city center but only 50 metres from metro Mundet (Line 3 - Catalunya, Rambla, Espanya, Sants) - in 20 minutes You are in Port Vell or Ciutat Vella. Incoveniences? There's a only few bars in the neighbourhood. For plus - big Consum supermarket 100 metres from hotel (they works from 9 A.M.) Hotel is very close to Ronda de Dalt so it could be noisy but windows are really really great and AC works quietly so I slept like a baby (thanks to enormous and very comfortable bed too). Furniture in my room were a little shabby (scratches etc.) but nothing to worry about. Cleaning was rather professional and room and bathroom were just clean. What surprised me much - prices in mini bar were reasonable for a four star hotel (e.g. 3E for beer). I contact with personel only three times and they were polite and professional."

"In term of location, the hotel is by no means in the city centre. However, it is only 5 mins walk from the Sant Paul metro station and 1 min walk to the bus stop (which have buses that take you directly to Catalunya and Park Guell). Also it is 10mins walk to the famous Sagrada Familia. The single guest room is very very small with a single bed, a table, a chair and bathroom with combined shower and small bath tub. The bed was ok, I could sleep. It's nothing special. The highlight is the service. The lady who checked me in was really helpful. She was like a very good concierge as well giving me advices on where to go in term of sightseeings, how to get there and also recommended me the best tapas bar/restaurant that I've ever been to in my whole 2 week trip in Europe. In general, the hotel was clean and tidy. I would stay here again for the value and the service."

"I had to make some last-minute reservations to visit Barcelona. All of the other desirable B&Bs were already taken. I was about to look at another hotel in Las Ramblas when I saw their review in TripAdvisor were really horrible. I found the hotel Everest online and after reading the great reviews, made my booking. I was really delighted by the staff and location. The room was very nice and the bathroom was so large it was almost as big as the room! The staff were so friendly and helpful and accommodating. The room was immaculately clean. They were two different metro stations located nearby. The neighborhood was very lively full of little bars bakeries Etc to get my breakfast! I highly recommend them and would stay there again."
